Congratulations!!! To all of the expecting mothers out there, and mothers who already have their precious little one(s) in their arms. I have a 2 and a half year old daughter, and now I'm expecting twin girls... Due January 25, 2008, I most likely won't make it that far. I'm keeping hope alive for one of my babies to come out a BOY! LOL Long as they are both healthy, that's all that matter... right. Anyways, God gives you what you can handle...
God Bless you all and Good Luck!!!
THE TWINS ARE HERE!!!
01/24/2008 Oh well... I kept hope alive for a boy, but it didn't work out... lol Instead, I was blessed with two healthy precious beautiful baby girls. Around 3:20am on January 11, 2008 (exactly 38 weeks), I was on here, on the pregnancy chat when my water broke. I arrived at the hospital around 4:25am, I wasn't having any contractions at the time. A nurse came in to check and see how much I was dilated, and I was dilated 3-4cm. After she checked me is when the contractions started. After about 30 minutes, the contractions were two minutes apart and lasting about a minute, it was horrible!!! Baby A was breech and Baby B was transverse, so I already had a c-section scheduled for January 18th (exactly 39 weeks). The whole time I was just waiting for them to prep for my c-section (which they received a phone call letting them know I was coming a hour before I got there), and the contractions were literally killing me while waiting. They said they were going to give me something to slow the contractions down, but that never happened (thank god I can tolerate pain good). It seemed like they were taking forever! They finally got me back there around 6:15am or so, they gave me a spinal that seemed like it numbed my whole body (from head on down). One minute I was hot, sweating, and shaking and then another minute I was freezing cold and shaking. I Felt like I couldn't breath and was about to faint, and I was gagging for literally 30 minutes, they say I was turning colors... it was crazy! After all that mess, my angels were born... WHEW! Baby A was 6lbs 1oz and 19 3/4 in. long born at 6:55am. Baby B was 6lbs 9oz and 19 1/2 in. long born at 6:57am. I didn't see Baby B till about two hours after they were born. She had took a gulp of amniotic fluid and her blood sugar was a little low, so she had to be monitored. We all went home the 14th, I'm still healing from my c-section (of course), but we are all doing great!!!
