Hi All!

Well, my name is Jennifer, and I live in the Chicagoland area. I just had our son, Noah this past Thanksgiving Day (November 22nd, 2007), and I just found out I'm pregnant again! This was the 2nd Easter in a row we've found out we're expecting! We are extremely happy, and can't wait to see what friends our children become with them being sooo incredibly close in age.

My Birth Story with Noah Nicholas...

Thursday, November 22nd (Thanksgiving), around 5am, I woke up to go potty. Well, as I was sitting on the potty, I coughed and my water broke. I quickly went and woke up my husband, and we were at the hospital in a half an hour. I knew I had to get there quickly because I had so much pressure, I was pooping. (Sorry, TMI) I got checked into the hospital, and sat there and waited until 11:15am when they took me in for my c-section. Noah Nicholas was born at 12:18 pm (12/18/07 was his due date), weighing 6lbs 5oz, and 19 inches long. After my doctor stapled me shut, she came around the sheet, and said "your son is already a trouble maker.." I was laughing, and asked why. "She said he managed to tie his cord in a tight knot." I freaked! I asked her what that meant. She told me that by the grace of god my water had broken, because he wasn't getting much oxygen or nutrients, and he probably wouldn't had made it to my next Doctor appointment which was suppose to be November 26th.

Here's the fun part! I went to the doctor on the 19th, and she told me I was in the early stages of labor. I laughed and told her I couldn't fit him into my schedule this week. My birthday was Wednesday the 21st, Thanksgiving, and we were moving into our first house on Saturday. THANK GOD I HAD HIM! Well, I was born on 11/21 weighing 6lbs 4oz, 19 inches long, and my son was born on 11/22 weighing 6lbs 5oz, and 19 inches long. Weird, huh? :D
