Admitted to hospital on March 11th with contractions my medicine to stop contractions wasn't working so I went to the hospital. Earlier morning on March 12th after they tried 3 different types of drugs to stop my contractions they decided to put me on magnesium for the next 48 hours. (I have to say this is a demon drug WOW horrible) They had to take me off of the mag. because I started to develop pulmonary edema. They gave me the last steroid shot for the babies that same day. Finally by Friday March 14th I was still having contractions but they were stable and I was able to keep the babies in until March 18th, it was then my cervix started to change and because of so many other complications my doctor decided to take the babies. Samuel Adam was on oxygen for only 1 hour after birth and then was taken off. His IV's were taken out on Saturady the 22nd and on Sunday all other monitors with the exception of the oxygen sat. moitors were taken off. Now we are working on getting him to bottle feed every feeding. Everyday he is getting stronger and stronger. We hope he will be home soon. Ella Addie was on oxygen for only 2 hour after birth and then was taken off. Now we are working on getting her to bottle feed every feeding. Everyday she is getting stronger and stronger. We hope they will be home soon.

Tuesday 2-26-08 had another U/S for measurements. Our baby boy is now 3 lbs. 15 oz and our girl is 3 lbs. 10 oz. They both are doing great. We are scheduled for a c-section on April 4th, the countdown is on 37 days to go wow. Our basement isn't done yet hopefully in 3 weeks it will be complete. Then we will have to hurry and set everything up in the babies room. I think for names we are doing Samuel Adam and Ella Hadley.

Monday 1-28-08 had another U/S today will go to the doctors tomorrow. Our baby boy is 2 lbs. 9 oz. and our girl is 2 lbs. 3 oz. Can't wait to see what the doctor has to say tomorrow. Getting excited my baby shower is this Saturday, it will be so fun reality will set in about the twins.

Thursday 1-3-08 had another appointment and U/S. Our baby boy is 1 lbs 9 oz and our girl is 1 lbs 5 oz. I am measuring 34 weeks WOW no wonder I feel the way I feel, my poor body thinks I am 34 weeks. Well its exciting coming this far. But getting nervious about it all. Just can't believe I am having two at once. Went and found some clothes for them that was a task trying to find preemie clothes. I am now having to see my doctor every week. I will go back on 1-28-08 for another U/S.

Tuesday 12-04-07 had our 2 hour long ultrasound and it is confirmed we are having a boy and a girl. The boy weighs about 12 oz and the girl weighs about 10 oz. The doctor said nothing looks abnormal and the babies are doing great. I will go back on Jan 3rd for another u/s.

Tuesday 11-6-07 our ultrasound tech said she was pretty sure that Baby A is a Boy and Baby B is a Girl. I am finally not so sick and can actually eat a little now. I have only gained 1.5 lbs, but they say they are not worried because the babies are doing great. Doesn't make sense to me, my stomach looks like I gained 15 lbs.
