We are very excited to be expecting our little ones soon! These will be our first children & as we were extremely suprised to find out we were having twins initially, we decided to keep their gender a suprise 'till they are born. Twins run in both our families (3 out of 4 grandmothers have had twins; my mother is a twin & my husband's father is a twin), but we are still in awe and psyched to this day!

Wow. I actually grew up in West Springfield (rival). My husband grew up in Agawam. We both graduated in 87. What a small world. When I mention Agawam to people they usually have no idea. I teach third grade in Springfield. I really like working in Springfield. I am sure you are currently busy right now. I would like to hear all about those babies!!!

For us this is 'it' also- two kids was always the plan. I hate to say that, though, because you just never know! I agree completely that I am trying to cherish this pregnancy. I will miss feeling the boys move in my tummy and just having them with me all the time. As far as how I am carrying them, yes, it does look like I have a huge basketball under my shirt! I don't know how much merit those sayings have, but my friend even took a photo of me and photoshopped a soccer ball on my belly saying it was taken just before I was arrested for shoplifting! :) I have to say that although I have gained 50 lbs, I am pretty much 'all belly.' I can't imagine my belly weighing 50 lbs, but I don't look like I've gained much elsewhere. However, I have had swelling, so I'm probably retaining a lot of water. FUN! I can't imagine not finding out the gender- we are far too impatient! How exciting for you. Can't wait to hear! Goodluck!

Thank you so much, Tiva! During my 34th week I thought for certain I would not see even week 36, but now that things have become less active, I have started to realize that it could be quite a while! Do you find yourself wanting to do things to trigger labor? My husband is already joking he is taking me off bedrest. I can't help but be tempted! Your 'uterus of steel' comment made me laugh out loud!

Good luck Tiva! I am in Agawam Mass (the town Six Flags actually is in) and we got about 8 inches. Heavy snow though. Everything will be great, I will be thinking of you Wednesday, as I am teaching. Keep in touch!

I work in the loan department at a bank and it was a loan officers wife. She was huge but looked GREAT after she had them. And I do mean right after. They had pics from the hospital. She wasn't even induced. What a woman. I know that you have already got me seriously beat in the strength department because I only have one and am so crabby and miserable.
As for the dad well yesterday he made a comment about 'his family' then went on to clarify that he also included my boys as his family. I was nice and just said okay but really wanted to say well if they are your family then why don't you take care of them or care to see them. I am so happy by myself and it is really hard to let someone in especially if they act like he has been. Thanks so much for your support. My mom did it and I truely believe I can to. Where there is a will there is a way and God left me a path I just have to find it. Thanks. Good luck!!! Let me know when you deliver.

Congratulations on the twins. I know someone that just had twins late last summer and she carried them the full forty weeks. They were right at eight pounds each and she had a perfect vaginal delivery with both, and one was breech. I was really suprised this was possible. I am sure everything will be great for you as well. I am just very impressed with you because you said it was still bearable. What a trooper! Congratulations!!!

wow youre at 37 weeks with twins thats wondreful that youve been able to carry them full term. im sure painful though. and its great to know they way the same amount and that ones not stealin the others nutrients. well im sure they will be coming soon hang in there. has there neen talk about induceing you???
