I'm 27 years old and this is the first baby for me and my boyfriend. The baby was not planned, but is very welcome right now. . . not to say that I didn't shed many tears when I first found out. I took a test and it came back positive on November 03, a mere 6 days before we were supposed to close on our house. We spent hours debating whether or not we should still get our house and eventually decided to proceed. I couldn't imagine bringing a baby home to an apartment after being so close to getting a house. I am very glad we chose to buy our home, but I still panic everyday wondering if we will be able to handle and afford everything.

I only have a small hole and my husband has to pack it twice a day. It hurts like hell. And my dr says I should ween myself off my pain meds. She is nuts if she thinks that will happen while I hurt this bad. I have been having bladder spasms too, they suck. Can't take the meds for it though because I am pumping. I am trying to dry up though. I barely produce anything and I would rather spend that 20 minutes at a time with Edyn. The side of my incision that it not open doesn't hurt at all. I can only imagine how good I would feel if I didn't have a bad side to it. I am finally getting some fluid off. Did you get the stuff to keep your blood pressure from dropping after the csection? It is just fluid and it made my feet, legs, and torso swell beyond belief. I am getting a little depressed too.

Glad to hear Im not alone!! I stopped using that water bottle thing that they gave me in the hospital. Im wondering if thats why Im burning. I think Im gonna try to start using that again. Other than that, I am doing well. I actually never took anything more than Tylenol and Motrin. I cant stand pain meds. I cant see my incision yet since its way underneath my big belly, but it feels like the skin is really hard. Im assuming its the scar tissue. I am having a hard time getting up from a laying down position. I have been sleeping on the couch since thats easier for me than the bed. I also have the swelling. I ended up with pre-eclampsia and was on bedrest the last two weeks of pregnancy because of the swelling and then I also had the Pitocin. My doctor said that I can expect it to be a good two weeks until it gets better. I hope it happens soon because it is SOOO uncomfortable!! Well, I hope you are feeling better.

I feel like crap. Plain and simple. I have swelling everywhere from the fluid they give you to keep your blood pressure from dropping after the csection. Do you have that? I kept having sharp pains around my incision and went to see the dr. I have a hole in my incision. Probably wouldn't hurt at all if it weren't for that. Oh, and I have bladder spasms that kill me when I pee. The only stuff I can have is not for women who breastfeed. I am trying to pump since she will not latch on but I am about to call it quits. I have always wanted to breastfeed but I hurt so much and I am barely getting any. Good thing the formula satisfies her. I adore this little girl but she is going to be an only child I think. Here's to us recovering and sorry for my many complaints.

tangerina - Friday, 20 June
p.s. my MW cant feel the baby's head anymore because he's soooo deep in my pelvis.... that's what she told me last friday and today too... she can no longer grab where his head is because it's all the way in...

explains a lot about why i'm walking like i have a basketball b/w my legs. LOL

tangerina - Friday, 20 June
she will squeeze through just fine... a lot of doctors say that to scare you. it is REALLY rare for a woman to grow a baby that does not fit her body... it's just not as 'rare' here in the US because they love doing c-sections on people. Dont be scared!!! she will fit!! :)

i've been feeling like my pelvis is cracking since March. LOL.. I thought i'd never make it because i thought.. "wow, if it hurts this bad now, i cant imagine when the baby weighs more than 2 pounds!"... and here i am!!

the pelvis is an amazing structure and the ligaments are going to get soooo loose that it'll stretch and contort just the way you need it to in order to fit your baby :)

tangerina - Friday, 20 June
if your dr. cant feel her head, it's prob because she's really deep in your pelvis... do you feel a lot of pressure down there?

luvbaby - Tuesday, 17 June

I was told by the nurse who did the birthing center tour at my hospital that I could wear my contacts during labor. I'd check with your doctor, but I know for a fact that you do not always have to take them out.

luvbaby - Tuesday, 10 June
so who told you that no contacts during labor! well im still wearing mine cause i cant wear my glasses there probably going to be really uncomftable.....theyll move around , get foggy or sweaty ...arggg

Congrats! Is your little one an Adeline by chance?

eulaha - Monday, 2 June
My bf's mom is ASKING to be bitched-out!! That is why I ignore her as much as possible. This is her first grandchild, and I understand she is excited, but her constant oohing and aahing and baby talk and constant questions are pissing me off!! Excuse my language, but I'm cranky, constipated and hungry!

juliedue2008 - Sunday, 1 June
I love matchbox, congrats on the baby.. you have so much ahead of you! I wish I was going to go through the whole process again!! Good luck!

CCQ - Sunday, 1 June
OMG, It was exhausting! I appreciate that so many people came and that I received so many nice things, but I am pooped. And I don't know if it's my hormones or not, but I cried over every adorable thing. Also hormone related, I have very little patience for children who act horribly. I promise my child will never go to someone else's home and act out. I will not subject other people to that type of commotion. Now I just have to sit pretty and wait for at least June 24th. LOL

Rachel918 - Sunday, 1 June
So I just wrote you a comment back basically bitching and complaining and then it dissapeared lol... Oh well. Write me back and complain all you want though thats what we are here for right???

aniyahsmom2008 - Saturday, 31 May
Hey, I read you comment and I totally agree with you! I dont know what it is about people at Walmart but they are crazy!!! They see you, want to keep stopping in front of you, not moving, almost running you over with their carts, and then no matter what time of day you go, there is always too many people! I cant function when everytime I turn around there is somebody there with a basket! And I hate when you are looking at something on a shelf, and someone walks by without even saying excuse me, or they will reach in front of you to get what they want! I hate that and almost had to curse someone out about it. My boyfriend gets ticked off just as much, maybe even worse. So hey your not alone, we all feel the same way!!!!
