Pregnancy Journal

May 17, 2008 [4 weeks, 2 days]
Took the pregnancy test in the morning... and it came up positive! I pretty much had a panic attack. I had to try and slow down my breathing (and my racing heart!) and relax so that I could call my boyfriend and let him know. He was just as shocked as I was!

May 23, 2008 [5 weeks, 1 day]
So far I haven't experienced any kind of morning sickness, knock on wood! In fact, besides sleeping all the time, I feel normal! I'm wondering when I'm going to start feeling different. I talked to the boyfriend and he let me know how happy he is. He also told me that he feels like I'm really disappointed that I got pregnant. I had to explain to him that I'm still in shock and a little nervous, but that I am happy!

May 25, 2008 [5 weeks, 3 days]
I'm still trying to accept the fact that I'm pregnant. I have to keep reminding myself that there is life inside my tummy, growing more and more each day! It blows my mind just to know that there is a part of my boyfriend in there, and a part of me too... And that it's our baby, and we're going to be parents soon... It's so much to absorb! I need to try and relax.
