i am now 14 weeks 1 day and have my first scan this thursday (15th) so i am looking forward to that a lot. Andrew has finally told his mum that we are having our second baby which i am pretty glad about as his sister knew and it was only a matter of time before she said something in front of her mum about it. My belly is most definately taking shape now and i have already gone up from a size 12 to a 14 and i refuse to buy any more bigger trousers until at least 16 - 18 weeks. if needs be i will just un-do the button and wear longer tops. i have also been feeling the baby move for the last 3 weeks. i don't feel it every day and sometimes i will go 4 days without noticing it. but i have been through this before and it definately is the baby moving and not just gas!! lol

oh and also a lot of our family members have been talking about twins a lot. i personally think they are just trying to scare us but i wouldn't mind either way.

yeah me 2 i would like a boy but i will be happy with a girl also but from the looks of it i am getting my boy : ) but we will see in about 4-6 more weeks

well i had read about it on the internet that you can tell at 14 weeks but it would need to be confirmed at 20 weeks to make sure because at 14 weeks all the parts are there to see by that time. but when she was doing the scan it was clear as day that there was something there that looked like a boys part lol because he was just laying there spread eagle lol but good luck on your scan and congrats

you should buy one..I got mine on Ebay it was only Ł19.99..brand new in its box..theres a woman on there that sells all that type of stuff..allthingsspecial is her name on it..
my bf loves hearing the heartbeat the look on his face was so funny when he first heard it lol his mouth dropped + was all OMG I can hear it lol xx

yea I am going to find out..but it was too soon to tell last week when I went for the scan so hopefully I will find out when I go for my next one when am between 16 + 18weeks known my luck though the baby will prob be lyin with its legs crossed lol I have started buying a couple of wee sets and bodysuits but I had to buy them in either white or a beige colour so I cant wait to buy clothes in either pink or blue lol x

no nothin so i'm hoping to find out more this friday!
i just feel that if there was any thing wrong surley it would be betta to know as early as poss!!!
all these mum's from the use seem to have had far more medical attention than us poor uk mum's to be!!!
i'm going to be 14 weeks by the time i see my midwife!! its a joke!!!

lol yea i mite do that..but then again cuz I had that scan last week I know everything is ok so I mite just hold off a few more weeks. Iam really lookin forward to the 23week scan cuz the midwide said they show the baby really close up..my boyfriend cant wait for it aswell. Are u going to find out wat it is your having? xx

yeah it wuz reali scary but am just so glad the baby is ok. I had my first midwives appt 2day..went reali well got a couple of books + leaflets 2 read..i have to wait til am 16wks till i go 4 my scan. the midwfe said the hospital shuld contact me with a date but if they don't then i have to ring them. Hope everything is goin good 4 u xx

hey there am not 2 bad 2day thanks. glad your appt went well. I had an eventful day yesterday was in a car accident on my way home from work so went up 2 the hospital just 2 make sure everything was ok with the baby, they did a scan (my first scan :D) it was so cool seein the baby jumping about all over the place thank god he/she is ok. The doctor told me my due date is about right aswell. So glad everything was ok. xx

Yeah my bb's have grown two times in size!! They're annoying as hell to me, but my hubby isn't complaining either! lol. Funny how that works. I've stopped my snacking too or if I do feel the need to snack (bc the hunger pains kill) - I try to eat something low in calorie or healthy such as a vegetable or fruit.

awww thats nice..we have the girls names Summer and Halie picked but I have a feeling its going to be a boy lol we keep changing our minds about the boys names..I was thinking about the name Mackenzie cuz its my grannys maiden name but were really not 2 sure..
