I felt funny after drinking that stuff too! It was like 20 minutes after, while I was waiting to get the blood drawn. I got a wicked Sugar high. My husband so noticed it. And said umm yea... haha
I was so jittery, and talking so fast and I mean I felt so funny. I went a couple days ago. Im not sure how long it would take to get the results but I have a doctors appt in a few weeks.

Yeah and that is totally normal to feel really yucky after drinking that stuff..it is glucola..which is sugar...that makes most peeps feel yucky. It made me feel crappy andi passed...im sure you did fine....good luck!!!!!

Just sharing my experience with the glucose screening that I had this morning...For me once I had that drink it didn't bother much but yes I worked from home since I thought I might not be able to work from office as my office is quite far off..To be honest I myself is a bit nervous and waiting impatiently for my result which is due on Monda.

Hi, basically you go in on a fast. They give you the liquid drink. It didn't taste bad at all. Hopefully when you go for yours the drink will be cold. You drink it up, wait one hour and have your blood drawn. Try and keep still, any activity can raise the sugar levels. This is what the technician said. I wish you luck.

If we fail the test, then we have to go back for the two hour test. It is sort of the same procedure, but longer.

Awww, that's cute that your son only wants you to put him to bed, but I know what you mean about tiring. With my first daughter I had to lay with her until she fell asleep, that was super tiring and frustrating! That's why this time I'm making sure that we can basically put her in her crib, say goodnight and she falls asleep. Sometimes he likes to sit with her in the room, but that's his choice!

You're welcome. Last night I was hurting too, so I had to tell my 7 year old to get her own bedtime snack because mommy's tummy hurt and I needed to sit down. luckily she's old enough to get her own cheese and crackers and the hubby put our 14 month old to bed!

I have the same problem as you with the sharp pains around my belly button. It happens when I do too much and don't sit and relax. I saw my dr. on monday and she said everywhere else in the stomach is muscle except for right around the bellybutton, it's just tissue or ligament there and it rubs sometimes when you do too much. There's nothing really you can do, but it does help to take it easy, so that's my excuse to tell my fiance I need a break! lol! Hope that helps...

thank you so much for your message, ild love to move but were i live it's just money money money, for a small 2 bed your looking well over 100 thousand pounds just madness, so i guess ill stay here intill i have a job to and we can have a morgage, and also i don't have a room for this little one so we are now in the process of converting are loft into a room for us, and if this one's a boy they will have to share the big room for now. But if you ever need to chat just message me it's nice sometimes when people no how you feel, take care and have a wonderful pregnancy with your son, i find out on thursday xxx

thanks! Andrew is doing much better. He apparantly had an ear infection so he's on antibiotics and he is 100% better thank God. I don't ever want to have to go through that again. It was terrible.

Thanks for the support! Doesn't it just seem to be too early in pregnancy for this to happen!? I was thinking maybe once I was further along I mean I've only gained 8-10 pounds! I've had a couple good comments from other talking about eat more protien, drink more water, avoid salts, elevate feet... I work in an office all day and I sit alot. So today I grabbed a box to prop my feet up on and am going to take stretching breaks quite often to see if that helps. And no crossing your legs!! Well - I'm off to take a break and grab some water! Good luck and let me know how your's goes!

looks like I'll be swelling real bad too. My feet and ankles started in with the swelling this past week when its hot out. And now just noticed my calfs are fat too. I've always had little feet and skinny calfs and ankles, so seeing them all fat looks so silly to me!

My husband And I did the same thing. We are now living in a tiny apartment on the side of their garage that my dad slapped together for us. We invested a ton of money in building on the land right behind their house and now have exhausted all our resources. And we wish we were in our old house we were buying 10 hours away from them (but they couldn't live with out us) it had plenty of space for out growing family. Hoping for a change real soon though! Forclosures going on all around us.

Wow, you didn't even mention your stomach pains yesterday. It probably is from the baby growing larger.
