BIRTH STORY

OK SO MY BIRTH STORY IS A LIL BIT SHORT B/C I HAD TO HAVE A C-SECTION SO THERE ISNT ALOT OF INFO BOUT CONTRACTIONS AND PAIN AND ALL THAT...I WAS SCHEDULED FOR THE SECTION OCTOBER 10TH AT 8 IN THE MORN.SO I WENT IN THE OPERATING ROOM AND WAS LEANING OVER THE LIL THING THEY GIVE YOU SO YOU STAY STILL FOR THE SPINAL.THE NURSE PUT THE SPINAL IN AND IT HURT LIKE HELL!!! WHICH IT SHOULDNT HAVE.I COULD FEEL SOME OF THE MEDICINE LEAKING OUT OF MY BACK...SO LIKE 10 MIN LATER WHEN I SHOULD HAVE BEEN COMPLETELY NUMB I WASNT! I COULD STILL FEEL MY TOES AND WIGGLE THEM..SO OBVIOUSLY THE STUPID NURSE THAT GAVE ME THE SPINAL DINT DO IT RIGHT..SO NOW IM PISSED CUZ IM LAYING THERE AND I COULD FEEL EVERYTHING.AND ON TOP OF THAT I CAN HEAR THE DOCTORS SAYING THEY WILL NEED TO PUT ME TO SLEEP....WHICH MAKES ME EVEN MORE MAD CUZ I WANNA SEE MY LIL GIRL WHEN SHE COMES OUT..I DONT WANNA HAVE TO WAIT FOR HRS TO SEE HER FOR THE FIRST TIME...WELL THEY CAME TO ME AND SAID I HAVE TO BE PUT TO SLEEP, SO THEY PUT THE MASK OVER MY MOUTH AND I START TO CLOSE MY EYES...I WAKE UP IN THE RECOVERY ROOM WITH THEM TELLING ME I HAD A BEAUTIFUL FULL HEAD OF BLK HAIR BABY GIRL....I ASKED HOW BIG SHE WAS AND THEY SAID 8LBS 10 OZS.....I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT! SHES MASSIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BOUT AN HR LATER THEY TAKE ME OUT OF THE RECOVERY ROOM AND I CANT REMEMBER TO MUCH MORE CUZ THE MEDS MAKE YOU FORGET EVERYTHING..I DONT EVEN REMEMBER HOLDING HER FOR THE FIRST TIME,BUT ATLEAST I GOT SOME PICS TO CAPTURE THAT MOMENT! NOW WE ARE HOME AND SHE IS GREAT, SHE SLEEPS SO WELL FOR ME AND WAKES ONLY VERY 4 HRS...SHE TAKES SO WELL TO THE BREAST AND I AM SO THANKFUL FOR THAT SINCE WITH MY OTHER 2 CHILDREN I COULDNT BREAST FEED. SHE STILL HAS JAUNDICE AND HAS TO GO FOR BLOOD WORK TO SEE HOW BAD IT IS..I JUS HOPE SHE DOESNT HAVE TO GO BACK TO THE HOSPITAL AND STAY THERE.....

Well Kira has been back and forth to the doctors for blood about 4 times now...She still has jaundice but the doctor said it is low...SO jus keep her in the sunlight and feed her every 2 hrs..it will eventually flush out her system.SO thats what i have been doing..and its so tiring,but thankfully i dont have to wake her in the nights to feed her every 2 hrs..SHe still sleeps really good at night.Last night she went to sleep at 10 and woke up at 3:15 in the morning.so atleast i am getting some sleep.I dont know what i would do if she wasnt sleeping as i have 2 other children to tend to.SHe goes back to the doctor in 2 weeks she will then be a mth old,i think thats when they give her, her first immunization needle...this is not gonna be fun!!!

Well today my baby girl is a mth old already...Kinda makes me sad and want to cry cuz time is flying by so fast...shes so alert now and even smiles when you talk to her..I cant believe how much she has grown.I am bringing her to the doctors this week for her 1 month chk up and i will see then how much she weighs.The last time i took her which was 2 weeks ago she was 9lbs 5 ozs already!!!!! so i guess the breast feeding is going really really well.Her jaundice is all gone now which im so happy for cuz i thought she was going to end up in the hospital,but thankfully with all the feeding i did she got rid of it on her own.Ill update again after i bring her into the doctors...

Well i took my baby girl to the doctor on the 13th and she now weighs 15lbs on the dot and is 24 inches long..the doctor said she is a perfect size and everything look great.She was even laughing at the doctor and he couldn't believe she is laughing already.She has the cutest lil laugh and smile..i love her to pieces! She is also sleeping thro the night which is good actually great for a breast fed baby.Shes even getting a lil personality now.Everytime you talk to her she gets all excited and smiles and trys to talk back..its so cute!
