pregnancy calendar

I moved all of my first born's things to his own page, including my labor story. I am trying to create a clean space for baby #2, so that updates can easily be found. I just hope and pray the TTC part doesn't take to long. The first time around I was so excited to concieve, but nervous of all the unknowns to come. I had my arms wide open for welcoming the news experiences. This second time around my fears are so different. I had a C-section with my first 9-7-06. With there being scar tissue and will be nervous that the placenta will implant on the scar tissue or over the cervix. I am also scared of reliving the morning sickness. I went through 20 weeks of misery the first time. I am going to prepare myself with Vit B6 and Ginger Tea. I hope that it will work, but I just have a feeling that it won't. I tried a multitude of things last time to alleviate the sickness. Nothing worked!

I really want this to be a VBAC baby. I am in our local ICAN Chapter and reading all kinds of books to educate myself. I have found a doctor that will deliver VBACs, thanks to ICAN. She is an hour and a half away, but it will be so worth it. I have ordered Raspberry Leaf Tea to strengthen and tone my uterus and I have actually started exercising (about time!).

Pregnancy is "in the water" around here, so maybe it won't take long. I am really hoping to concieve by May. I will start getting really axious by that point. What am I saying, I am already anxious, but then I think about all the sleep I will lose, the sickness, and how I have a perfect toddler now and I calm down some.

I took my NuvaRing out on Sunday, January 6, 2008.
I got my BFP on Friday, February 15, 2008

I GOT A BFP! This is the last thing I expected. I can `t believe I got so lucky. Never in my wildest dreams was it ever that easy!

kelim - Thursday, 8 May
hi there, i had an emergency section last time, i stopped dialating at 6 cent, and i was also diabetic last time so my daughter was big, so i think i would have one any way, it was a nightmare but worth it.

momofsoon2be3 - Wednesday, 7 May
Do you know of any exercises that you can do to strengthen your uterus?

autumnandbabygirl - Thursday, 1 May
Hey havent chatted in awhile. Just wondering how things are going with you. Hope all is well.
Things here are good, now in week 14, its going by so fast. I go for my next ultrasound June 5th and I cant wait.

1chance2live - Thursday, 24 April
how much did you end up paying if you don't mind me asking. I was thinking about just getting the one for $114.99 with the free shipping....but I also liked the one you got I just don't want to pay some crazy amount.

1chance2live - Thursday, 24 April
Sorry I saw that you got a doppler on ebay...what kind did you get? I want one now haha!!!!

momofsoon2be3 - Thursday, 17 April
Well I talked with my doctor about the VBAC the other day, and I made notes of the questions I had. Your list help me with things I hadn't thought of. She said that with my history I would be a good choice for VBAC. She would not be able to induce me. Which I was hoping for. She said as long as I have gone into labor by my due date then it's not a problem. If I am over due then I will have to have a c-section. So I feel happy with everything she said. I am just going to have to go into labor by my due date. No pressure!

mommauv4 - Thursday, 17 April
I think you are absolutely right. Being eternally optimistic too often leads to disappointment in things we have no control over.

minnie*me - Tuesday, 15 April
Thanks! :) Yesterday I had a very bad feeling.....but as the day progressed I became more optimistic. This morning the spotting seems to have calmed down....so hopefully that's that! I didn't spot with my first 2 children, but I did with the last one (but not this much and not until a few weeks later than this) I will just try to stay positive....that's all I can do right?! I have been cramping on and off.....but nothing too bad.....nothing to suggest I have m/c yet.

mama2alexis - Sunday, 13 April
Just dropping by to see how you are doing. I haven't been online much b/c i've been hit hard with m/s. not fun, but it's all part of the deal..lol...

dustyrose001 - Saturday, 12 April
yeah some body told me it will float around however it wants to and i just have to hope its head down when my water breaks

~butterfly*love~ - Friday, 11 April
Awwww......poor thing! i hate it when my baby is sick. Angel-david just got better from an ear infection also. This weather is crazy and making us sick. Awwww.....poor little Zachary's behind, that must hurt a lot, desitin (creamy) always works for angel. We just got a fish tank with 7 little fish's and he learned to say "fishy." every time someone comes over he gets so excited and points to the fish tank and says "fishy!" LOL, it's so cute, they grow so fast! He also tries to do everything that i do, its funny.

dustyrose001 - Friday, 11 April
lol thank god! I thought I was the only one! My fiance said its probably going to be a gymnist like me

kamo - Thursday, 10 April
Things are actually going okay. Although when I think that I'm moving on from m/s, it comes right back full force. My uterus is going through changes and I can feel it so much these days. I finally told my family, which was a great relief! Otherwise, I'm great! How are you doing?

~butterfly*love~ - Tuesday, 8 April
Hey how's the pregnancy going? Have you had any morning sickness? Time goes by so fast, I can't believe in a couple of months angel-david will be 2 years old!!!

sweetlemon53 - Monday, 7 April
Thanks! The Dr did do a blood test- no fun and I am sure that will be just an additional cost we don't need. We are pretty bumbed but at least we know.

sweetlemon53 - Monday, 7 April
:( ! Dr. test says Neg. that it must have been a chemical pg or evap lines and to start my progesterone Sat. if I haven't started my pd.

alishaB - Monday, 7 April
I need to look into a laboring tub! Sounds great, hope my hospital has one but Im no counting on it. I love the birthing bar/stool idea. It just makes so much sense to have gravity help the birth! Laying down seems so counterproductive. Yes I agree that The Business of Being Born should have addresses VBAC as Im sure there are many, many women in your shoes. I read your comment from April 1st about your medical records! Cant believe it! Actually I can believe it which is more sickening. How are you feeling these days? Are you still having M/S?

alishaB - Sunday, 6 April
Hello! Thanks for your reply. So great to hear from other like minded women! I see you've seen The Business of Being Born...pretty scary huh? Did the hospital scare you into your first cesarean? I just contacted my hospital regarding birthing pools and they dont even have them! Im really disappointed. Is that how you are going to give birth? You're very fortunate if your hospital provides a pool. Many many congrats on your pregnancy and I look forward to keeping in touch.

Janice2605 - Friday, 4 April
That's wonderful! Hopefully it works out for you!!! It's so much easier to get around afterwards, that's for sure! I found the c-section was awful! You don't realize how much you need those muscles in your belly, until they've been cut through, LOL!! Vag is sooo much quicker to heal from!! Good luck to you!!!
