24 weeks ~

I have reached Viability!! Yipee! I am stilll very excited. We have been buying baby things and now it seems real. Its a lot closer than I think sometimes. If I make it to 36 weeks I only have 12 weeks left!!

July 17th

I am 29 weeks! :) The Dr.Appt went really good today both babies are weighing 2lbs12oz. Which is good. It is looking like I wont have to have a c-section right now but I suppose things can always change. I am excited, it is getting so close.

July 24th

Yay! My little girl flipped! I am hoping I dont have to have a c-section now!!!! We will see at my next u/s on the 19th.

Aug 8th

So I am 32 weeks and at my Dr. appt I was sent ot labor and delivery. I was having contractions every 2 mins and was dialted to 2cm and 25% effaced. After a looong day they got the contractions down to 2 every 15 minutes and released me but I have to take medication every 4-6 hours to keep the contractions from comming back too strong... And I am also on bed rest now....We will see what happens on wends.

Aug 24th

I went to the dr. on Aug 13 for a regular appt. Well I ended up at the hospital because contractions were every 2 mins again and I was dialated to a 4. I stayed in the hospital for 3 two days WITHOUT eating anything because of the medication they had me on...not fun. On the 3rd day (Aug 15) they said I was having a c-section and At 11:50 and 11:51 both of my twins are here (33w 1d) They are both doing good and in the NICU for now. I am hoping I get to take them home soon. They said 4 weeks but I am hoping it is not that long. :)

I am so sorry that I didn't reply sooner, I didn't realize until today that there was a profile page and options to send comments and messages!!!! I am due September 28th, but was scheduled for a c-section September 17th! This will put me at 38 weeks and 3 days! I am going CRAZY!! My anxiety is getting really bad, I am paranoid about everything and the pain between my legs is getting really rough! I will be so relived when this is all over with! I am 36 weeks and 3 days right now and just counting down every day!!! How are you feeling?!?! Any new updates!?!? Love the ultrasound pics!!! So cute!!!!

WOW UR SO TINY FOR TWINS!! i AM 32 WEEKS AND i HAVE PUT ON 32 POUNDS SO FAR AND THE BABIES ARE 4 POUNDS EACH!!! I JUST BOOKED MY CESARIAN FOR SEPT 30TH! I DONT THINK I WILL LAST THAT LONG IF U SAW MY PICS I CANT STRECH ANYMORE! LOL YOU LOOK SOOOO GREAT!! HOW DO U FEEL??? HOW MUCH HAVE U PUT ON 2 DATE NOW???

Hello there, I gave birth to my twins at 34 weeks and of course straight to the NICU they went after birth. Although they said that my twins would be in there for 2-3 weeks, my son moved into the 'specialty care nursery' the very same day and my daughter followed 3 days later. My son was sent home after 7 days total in the hospital and my daughter after 10 whole days. I'm still in contact with alot of mothers that delivered twins the same time as I did and all the ones that delivered early pretty much had the same story as I do. They all had the babies home in less than half the time that the hospital estimated. I guess they just say that to be on the safe side just in case something were to go wrong and they would have to keep them for longer. If you've had no complications than there should be nothing to worry about. Good luck and God bless!!!

hey u look great! Im having twin boys and Im 29 weeks I have gained a total of 31pounds what about you??? I cant sleep! its acctually painful 2 carry! lol or am I a big suck???lol

Hi there and thanks for the reply. It sounds like my tummy is just stretching earlier as it only had 5 months to try to get back into shape and now I am preggers again. Thanks for letting me know. I will find out for sure in 6 weeks time when I have a scan. Thanks for letting me know. Take care.

my braxton hicks have been awful, i must get 20 throughout the day! they are just so uncomfortable....

They do check the heart beat with a dopplar each time I go in for an appointment - but they don't really search for another heart beat. I am sure there is only 1 - but you know the thought lingers in your mind??? I was just curious if you felt different movement - almost like you'd know you had 2 babies inside you instead of 1. My Dr. only does 1 ultrasound and you only get multiple if there are complications. They only found 1 baby on the first one (when I was 20 weeks) but my family seems to think that the other one was hiding.

im hoping for a natural birth, i really dont want a c section, but may have to all depending on how things go! ive been getting an awful lot of braxton hicks today, never had so many in one day, they are so uncomfortable. have you picked any names out yet? x
