My little girl - - - RILEY - - - was born on the 22nd April 2008, 8lb 7oz (3830g).
Hi, I've been on this website a while now, but only now at 33 weeks have I a bit of time to catch up.
I confirmed my pregnancy on 5th September 2007, although I knew beforehand as the symptoms were quite obvious ( Thank God for toast & ginger nuts!)
8wks; I had a really bad allergic reaction to something and was worried, checked into hospital and all was well. - I had had a miscarriage in Feb 2007.
12+2wks; I had my first scan, and you could tell that I was going to have a little wiggler then... (they don't tend to tell you the sex that early in the UK)
15wks; combined test - got the OK from that.
21+2wks; 2nd scan, again just to make sure everything is growing as it should - I found out what I'm having but as my partner doesn't want to know I'm not telling anyone. Feel free to have a guess though...............................
27+2wks; Had the GTT test, which came back the following week as negative, I don't have diabetes.
28wks; had my first Antenatal with the doctor at hospital, as opposed to seeing my Midwife, as I have a history of big babies, I thought she was going to recommend a cesarean, lucky for me she said that as my body has coped with my two previous pregnancies ok, I can go ahead with a normal delivery. My son was 10lb 5oz and a natural birth (ouch).
33wks; I managed to go to my very first antenatal class yesterday, although not a lot has changed in the 4&10 years since I had my other children, I found it quite interesting, there were 2 other mums-to-be there, although it's there first time - I thoroughly recommended the ''on all fours mooing like a cow'' position, before you laugh - try it!!!
Please fell free to drop me a line - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

16 march 200833+5wksNever ending pain in the right leg, The baby has been laying on a nerve for quite a while now, but as I `m getting bigger the pain is increasing and not only that as I start to ease the pressure by limping the other leg and hip start to hurt, I don `t want to rush my pregnancy but I `ll be glad to be rid of the pain.

18 march 2008 ..Hi all, I `ve just ordered a BABYCARE ELLE TENS MACHINE, to help with pain relief, I had a 2second feel of the midwifes one yesterday - never seen one in action before- It felt quite good................... Have any of you actually used one of these things before? Did it work for you? (in the UK they are on offer at the suppliers (£20.00 off today only I think) if you want to know the details contact - www.babycaretens.com
Wed 9th April - 37+1wks .. Went to the Antenatal Clinic at the hospital today, such a nice doctor again, anyway I knew I was there to arrange a date for induction (large baby). Had an internal and Dr said that I'm not engaged yet but he can feel the babies head, he gave me a sweep, and I'll need another next week with the Midwife.. .. Going to be Induced 21st April by the looks of it - It will be my sons 4th birthday on the 20th.. so near yet so far. (this one has been scanned as weighing 9lbs already).....
Tuesday 22nd April 2008 (39wks) .. .. .. .. .. My daughter RILEY was born at 09.47, weighing in at 8lb 7oz (3830g).

Tuesday, 6 May Hi there,
Still absolutely no sign of the baby so am getting very frustrated. I was due nearly a week ago now. Grrr! Had my membranes stripped at the OBs yesterday again and at least they told me I am 3cm dilated. Let's hope it's not going to be much longer.
Hope all is going well with you and the little 'un. Your mention of Asda and Tesco is making me homesick. I've got used to a whole new set of supermarkets here in NYC.
Take care and good luck,
Jane mommyoneil28 -

Sunday, 4 May I am still working at this point, but took tomorrow and tues off to catch up on things around the house, so probably won't be wandering out and about... I am just so tired after work it is hard to keep up with house work, and with two dogs I really need to clean the carpets! Hopefully I will have the energy tomorrow, as I barely manages to get anything done today! Hanging in there and hoping lil girl decides to hurry up, Gonna go run a bath, will talk to you later! Sunday, 4 May Rileys adorable!! Are your two older children settling in well with her? My daughter is besotted with Charlie, but gets upset if he cries (which luckily he doesn't do too often!). MilMom2Be -

Saturday, 3 May yea, my only concern is I am of small stature, not quite 5 feet tall, and she is a big girl... But worse comes to worse it is a c-section, and at least she will be out! Hope all is going well wiht your new arrival, how is your recovery? Have a good weekend! snowwhite5thbabe -
Friday, 2 May Besides the "born" section at the top of the page, when you click on someone's page, then you click where it says "children, yes" on their profile. That's usually where the birth story is hiding... baby.bray -
Friday, 2 May go to the column on the left hand side and look under 'birth' and click on 'I gave birth' and a list of birth stories comes up x Brit in NYC -
Wednesday, 30 April Hi there.

Wednesday, 30 April that sucks!

Tuesday, 29 April Congratulations!! Computer broke, so I have only just received your news. Hope all is going well xxxx baby.bray -
Tuesday, 29 April congratulations on your lil girl x jamiekritz -
Monday, 28 April I have to do things on my own cause my Doctors wont help me out or induce me cause they are against me haveing a a vbac cause they get more money and its more convient for them.. and yes.. they told me that. I was so pissed. My Husband is Military and They wont let me change drs cause Im already to far along.. so Its up to me to try everything to natuarally induce myself.. and in the state of CT.. finding a midwife is to "old fashion" for their liking and people having natural births get looked down on.. cause a dr can finish the surgery and be home for dinner in 20 mins instead of telling you to push for 2 hours hopeing the baby will come out soon.. LOL not even kidding!! Its soo ridicoulous here.. Im thinking about getting my records and just happening to be in Rhode Island or NY since Im 20 mins from each and going into labor!! lol NOTE: Older messages are compressed to speed up the website.
