My name is Valerie and I am 26 years old and just got married on 8/3/07 to the most wonderful man ever! We live in Chicago. We found out on 10/13/07 that we were expecting and are thrilled. I have two step daughters who can't wait to see my belly get bigger!!

Yesterday we heard our lil one's heartbeat for the first time! It's amazing!! :) Can't wait to find out the gender! :D

Happy New Year Everyone! :) I still haven't felt mylil one kick yet but on the plus side I got to hear his/her heartbeat again yesterday at my appt! It was a strong 150 bpm! :) I get my big ultrasound at my next appointment on 2/12! What a great Valentine's Day gift =)

I felt my lil one move for the first time last night! It was awesome. It really did feel like gas! lol...I just knew it wasn't cuz it kept on for awhile :)
2/12/08~
Today was our ultrasound appt! We are having a little boy! :) He is measuring up to five days ahead of my due date. The doc won't move up my date though, says baby just might be a lil bigger :) He is healthy and already 1 pound 2 oz! I posted my ultrasound pics...so check him out! :D
4/2/08~
So I realized that I haven't made an entry in a looooong time and am overdue. lol. I am exactly 29 weeks today. Baby and I are healthy. I passed my gestational diabetes test back in March. Cristian is moving around all the time now and I absolutely love feeling it all :) This Saturday 4/5, we go to see him at our 3d/4d ultrasound! I can't wait!!! It has almost 2 months since we last seen him and this time in color and action! Awesome :) Just 11 weeks until he is due to arrive....wow! it's going by sooo fast :) April 26th is my baby shower. Hubby and I got most of the things we need and are slowly but surely getting his room ready =)

I am sure they will be a piece of work lol. But I can't wait. Today is my last day at work. And when I am done I am done til I find another job back home. Its so weird, but I am so excited! Just over 6 hours to go...yay!!

Hey!! I went to the hospital due to some spotting and I am 1 centimeter open so that might have caused me to bleed a little!! Last week I was closed completely so that is progress!!! Baby is not fully engaged yet but doctor says that can happen the day i might deliver him!! I am so excited!!!

Well apt didn't go so well lol. The baby needs to drop yet, doc said I am not even inducable. So at least maybe we will be late together lol :) Our boys are so stubborn already. What are we going to do when they are teenagers lol.

Aww I wish dialation for you at your next apt lol. Things are well here. I have an apt tomorrow (thursday). I just want progress from last week. I hope my cervix has thinned out some or am dialated to 2 or something. I think that I may have lost my mucus plug last friday, but am giong to ask if it was that or something else. If it was my plug though, it could be soon. So can't wait to know more tomorrow :)

WOW it sounds just like me!!! Last week doctor also told me that he was floating but since sunday I have noticed a increased of pressure down there and my hips feel it too. So I am sure he has engaged I have an appointment tomorrow so we will see for sure! I also am not dilated yet so we will se hehe!!!

Good luck at the doctors! The contraction things are hard. IF you have never experienced something, how do you know what it is, ya know lol. I think I had some yesterday. Nothing that I have to breath through yet, but were kind of intense! I hope you are dialated or something lol. Let me know!

I wish we could plan our babies, or they would be better planners lol. Things are alright. I am ready to have my baby. Have another apt Thursday, am hoping things have progressed since last thursday. I am keeping my fingers crossed. How are things for you? Any dialation or signs of contractions??

Hello :) So you are working until the day? Much courage to you lol. I am done next Friday, so I hope my little man will be here shortly after. Do you get paid maternity leave, or just vacation time type thing? I won't get paid for any time I take off :( Oh well. Had a doc appt yesterday. I am dialated to 1 but my cervix is still thick. So at least I see the light lol. I was so excited when she said I was at 1 though lol. She finally checked the position of the baby and he is head down. So I know for sure that I have been pushing at his little butt for quite a while now lol. HOw are things going for you?

wow you are so much more ready than me lol. I really thought I was doing good :) I go to the doc on Thursday, I hope I am at least thinning! I want to get this man out of me lol. Thats all I keep thinking about. It is weird looking back on the weeks! I remember being like 26 weeks looking ahead just wondering what it would be like to be at week 37 or 38. Now we are there...YAY! Do you find yourself irritable at all?? I am very much so.

I am so ready now too! I went to the last week and there where women who were at 42 weeks and still no baby. I am so afraid that is going to be me. Glad to know I'm not the only one. I keep reading the posts and women talking about going into labor and being dilated and while I am happy for them I am so jealous. Good luck!

i went to the doc today and he did an ultrasound. she weighs 5 lbs 5oz and i am a week ahead. so my due date is now the 19th. I am so happy!! i go back in 2 weeks! i am so ready. hope all is well w/ u!

girl i totally understand about dumb ppl. i was gonna vent about it tonight but saw ur comment. i went to pizza hut tonight and some girl behind the counter said man she looks miserable and other day i was at get together and they were saying that i looked past due or should have my baby any day. arrr! i know i am big but u don't tell any women that. it seems women are meaner and u think they would understand. o well soon i will be holding a beautiful baby girl. i try not to get sad about it. hope the rest of ur pregnancy goes well. good luck and God bless!
