Dear Veetim, Thank you so very much for your response and for your help and the good information. I am going to start additionally supplementing with more Omega 3. I am so glad to hear that it has helped you and your baby and I wish you the best of luck. Many thanks again, Kimmy Sue

Dear Veetim,
Greetings from across the pond. I found this website and forum tonight and read your postings about ventriculomegaly. Congratulations on your positive news about your baby. I am having my first baby and am due not long after you (March 31). I had my 2nd trimester ultrasound scan today (I am 21 weeks) and my ob expressed concern that my baby might have VM. She did not tell me a mm size of the ventricles (and I was shocked /upset so did not think or know to ask). My doctor referred me to a specialist for further testing to see how serious the VM is. Naturally, I am upset and terrified and have been doing research non-stop on the Internet since I found this out. I am curious about your apparent success with DHA supplements. I am so glad to hear this has helped you and your baby. I was wondering if you could share with me what dosage of DHA you began taking? I am taking 300mg/day with my regular prenatal vitamin, but am thinking about increasing the dosage. Thank you for your help, I would be most grateful for any additional information you can share with me about your experience and DHA supplements. Thank you and congratulations on your pregnancy. -kimmysue, North Carolina, USA

I am so glad to hear your LO's vent are back in the normal range...it was such a scary time for us after we were told our LO's were enlarged. Keep taking the DHA supplements (I think they helped in our case too) & keep thinking positive
