Hey everyone, there is a GREAT online store that sells ECO Friendly Nappies/diapers. FITTED CLOTH. This is a terrific alternative to disposables AND they are HEAPS cheaper than so many other similar brands. Check it out. www.tendernest.com.au I know I certainly will use these from now on!!

OH AND this lady ALSO carries ERGO CARRIER and bags for baby and Paw Paw Salve if your interested in those things too!:-)

9th July

Ultra sound went VERY well! 10wks and 1 day.

27th June

I get confused so easily at the moment. It wasn't an u/s that I had today. When I went in the receptionist said" Oh darling no, u/s are on Wednesdays, you just have a follow up today!"LOL ANY I DO have an u/s NEXT Wednesday Hahahaha! Everything is looking good. In fact Doc' has taken me OFF one of my progesterones a day, so now I'm on just one a day instead of 2! I have a blood test on Monday just to check that the reduction doesn't do anything horrible. As in dropping off too quickly and too low. She said that as long as it was over 30 she's happy. Then I have another on the following Monday because at 10wks it naturally is supposed to go down abit but she wants to make sure that it doesn't dip too much.

Photobucket18th June

Hey there, well I had my ultrasound this morning. Everything is GREAT!!!!: Baby is very strong and healthy. I'm a little further than thought but not by much. The high levels I've had is because baby is doing so well! Heartbeat is 136!. They said that they are happy if the beat is over 100 and ecstatic if they are over 120. So that's great!
I feel somewhat more relaxed now. I was a mess in the waiting room. Nearly in tears I was so afraid. I know all the indicators were good but the fear was still so high. I have another u/s next week Friday on the 27th. Just to keep an eye on things. The ladies in the office were teary for me too.

Well I had some spotting through the night, so I rang my Doctor and they said I need a blood test IMMEDIATELY! Apparently

these early tests are EXTREEMLY unreliable and OFTEN give false positives! So I'm going shortly for that. I'll up date once that comes back. They said about 3-4 hours so I guess I'll know for sure what is going on in 5 or so hours. :-( I was so excited and now I just feel afraid.........

23rd of MayPhotobucket

BFP!!!!!!!!!

HOW ABOUT THAT! I'm sooooo excited. I'm now on my daily injections of clexane ( a blood thinner) and twice daily progesterone pessories. Ick. BUT hopefully this will help. More to come latter.........

Thank you Everyone that has been getting me through this time of grief, searching for answers and waiting!

PhotobucketWell, were to start! Photobucket

I have 6 children. Katherine 19, Heather 16, Michael 8, David 7, Declan 5, Jasmine 3. I have also lost 12 babies. One of them was Declan's twin. So I guess you could say, I've seen alittle bit. But we're still here and we have a happy family

Photobucket

PhotobucketMy hubby is a Barrister ( In America they are called Attorneys but here only Barristers do court work, Solicitors do the preliminary "stuff").He also lectures online for the Australian National University AND he's a Migration Agent. He is the best Father that anyone could ask for. He takes such good care of all of us and gives so much to the children. He's always playing with them, reading them stories ( with all the voices) and talking to them all the time, telling them all sorts of things. I truly think that the children are his best friends!

My Hubby

He also takes such good care of me. I feel truly spoiled! He's very domesticated! Every night before I fall asleep he whispers "I'm so glad I found you" I have heard that every night of our marriage. I'm soooooo lucky, God has been good to me.

I've done a sqillian different things, like running an Acting school, an online buisness, Modeling, I've been in hospitality, stockbroking and realestate but I'm now happily just homeschooling my little people( still with my online buisness). Much fun I have to say! :-)

I'd love to hear from anyone that cares to "chat" so do stop by my page.

PhotobucketThe Story so far

( strap on your seat belts, it's a long ride! :-))

I have had 12 miscarriages and 6 healthy children. The first miscarriage was 18 yeas ago and I still remember that vividly. Kyle was 17 1/2 wks. I never found out what happened to him. I lost ALOT of blood, my vains collapsed and they had to

revive me. I'm lucky to be here. The only reason I survived, I'm sure, is that my daughter was in the hall at the time of when I "died" and she suddenly burst out screaming "Mummy don't go!" At that I sat bolt upright! Took the nurses and the Doctors quite by surprise!Photobucket Well anyway, then I had 3 healthy children. Then came Mary, who I lost at 16 1/2wks. She was lost to Toxoplasimia. There was nothing that could be done to save her.Photobucket I lost 2 more after her. Then I fell pregnant with twins! One of them didn't make it. Lost Jo at 13wks. PhotobucketWe were very afraid for little Declan and I had to have alot of rest. During that pregnancy, we had the devistating fires in Jan 2003. We had to evacuate our home and we didn't know for a couple of day's whether our house was still standing. Here I am, supposed to be taking it easy and I was driving out of town to our in-laws and had gone into very early labour. I used my WHOLE

ventelin and that calmed the contractions down! So Declan was able to keep from being born untill ONLY 3weeks early!Photobucket QUITE the accomplishment! We then lost 2 more little ones. Never having a reason for them.Photobucket The first ultrasounds would show healthy babies but then things would go wrong and I'd loose them. Then we had little Jasmine, perfect and healthy, well mostly, she had silent reflux but that was treatable, so she's good now.:-) In 2006 I had an ectopic pregnancy. This little one got OUT of the tube and had lodged in my abdominal cavity. While I did have pain, I didn't pay much mind to it, as it was high up and I just thought I had eaten some bad chicken! ( along with I have an EXTREEMLY high pain threshold)I didn't even know I was pregnant! The week I found out, I had just finished a film shoot. That was the hardest shoot ever, I had to play a very calm nurse and all the time I was thinking I was dying from food poisoning! Anyway, I went to the Doc' because my stomac suddenly swelled and I was somewhat alarmed. I had taken a Preg'

test the night before and was pretty excited but confused as too the swelling, I knew I had been busy but was I that pregnant and hadn't noticed? Well no, I wasn't that far along. Turned out that I had been internally bleeding for probably two weeks and the swelling was from the amount of blood! They had me in surgery within 2 hours of the ultrasound! The Doc' was so amased at how much blood I lost, he took photos! My GP couldn't understand how I hadn't suffered a heart attack from blood loss. But I guess I have more to do on this world of ours. I became pregnant again and all seemed to be ok untill 13wks.Photobucket I lost the baby at home and then hemeraged and collapsed at home. My daughter had to ring for the ambulance ( my Hubby had gone to the shop and didn't know what happened untill he walked in to find Heather with the phone!) The Ambulance guys were great, they stabalised me enought to get me to hospital but once getting there the placenta started to tear the uterine wall and I started to hemerage angain. They had me in emergancy surgury

so fast, I barely remember much of what happened. PhotobucketSince then I have lost another 3.Photobucket The thing is, I'm healthy, everything seems to work properly, so there wasn't any obvious things that these loses could be attributed with. It has only been the last loss that we have FINALLY found out what is Wrong. Along with having a low progesterone, I have Thrombophilia. You can have this to varying degrees from 40-80 which is nothing to worry about to Mmmm interesting. I came back with a level of 160, showing that this is why I have been loosing my babies. This is a clotting disorder. Clots attack the placenta and blood flow can not get through, so the baby has nothing to survive on. THERE IS A REMEDY!!!!!!!!!Photobucket All I need is 20mg of CLEXANE per day ( in needle form, ahhhhhh) for the duration of a pregnancy untill 37wks. And for the progesterone, I have pessories for at least the first trimester. SO I have a script for Clexane ready and a bottle of Natural Progesterone in the fridge waiting for the IF/WHEN

we fall again. My Doc' thinks its a WHEN as we have never had a problem with our fertility. I am very greatfull that my Ob' was human enough to say " I DON'T KNOW WHY this is happening to you, BUT there is a new Doctor in town that has experience with reacuring misscarriage so maybe she can help!" Well help she HAS.Photobucket I first saw her on March the 6th and here we are a month and a half later, with ANSWERS.Photobucket I thank God every day.

So that's it I guess.Photobucket

We'll see what God has for us. Hopefully more little people :-)Photobucket

Have a great day and keep well. I wish you all the best from Down Under!

Hi! Thanks for the message! I've been trying to track my cycle but every month it's different! Have you got any suggestions? What's your view on ovulation tests?

Congratulations on number 7! Noticed you have three boys and three girls! What are you hoping for this time?

I'm a new grandmother too!

Hope you can give me some more advice and hope your pregnancy's going great!

Babyleprechaun - Tuesday, 15 July

Hi Vikki,

Nice to meet you! Another Aussie hey. I live in the Parra area but grew up in the Hunter Valley. My hubby is an Accountant so has a business with an office at home and in Pitt St in the City.

I have been seedy for over a month now but not enough to throw up. Not sure if that is good or bad! Tired and not feeling like being very social another side effect but I don’t mind. I know there will be a time when I wont be able to sleep.

I hate injections too!! The first time I tried to do it myself I cried and cried and wanted to scream, there was just no way I could do it. Fortunately my hubby tried and has been doing it ever since. It’s a full hypodermic...ewww.. this morning was number 32 I am told I may finish at 14 weeks but we may have to continue till the end. Pin cushion is an understatement! Every injection gives me huge bruises the size of our 50c pieces but I bruise easily. Are you being marked at all?

The pessories I am doing till 14 weeks also. They think the placenta will be strong enough then to stop them then. My issue seems to have higher than normal levels of ANA, thus the injections to help thin the blood and stop possible clotting. To this point I have had no bleeding so they have not been monitoring my levels. I have an OB appt Thursday with bloods and then the Down Syndrome bloods and scan next week. So far so good.

Great to see your last scan went well! The drugs seem to be working

Take care
Kylie

Hey there!!!
Glad to hear that you are well. I am doing fine myself. I am really having a good time with this.
I am not getting the NT done either. If they want to do an U/S check, I am fine with that but I did not want to be worried by any numbers or false positives and whatever. Also, I have no interest in terminating. All scans and blood work thus far have been normal, so I am not fearing anything.

Good to hear that you have a week off from doctors!! You can relax!!

Have a nice weekend!!

~Valerie

vikki, doing okay thanks. Feeling a bit low after church last night. My friends belly is getting so big. I should have been one month ahead of her. It reminds me of what I have lost and will never get back. Of course I don't tell her that and I make a point out of talking to her every week, but deep inside it hurts.

I am on CD22. I ovulated on day 18. I wish I had 3DPO tests like you! Guess I just have to wait and see if AF shows up. The last 3 months my cycle have only been 27 days so at least I don't have a full 2WW. But it also meant we ended up BDing 5 days in a row because I didn't know exactly when I would ovulate so we kept doing it until my temperature rose. I am feeling hopeful, but we'll see.

Glad to hear everything is going well!!!

Talk soon. Love,
Karin

I wanted to say hello and I hope that this pregnancy is going well for you!!!

roosa - Friday, 11 July
So glad to hear your ultrasound went well! Been thinking of you!

I am on day 21 of my cycle and ovulated on day 18. My last 3 cycles have only been 27 days so at least I should have a full 2WW. I am feeling very hopeful this month. No spotting and no clots and we have definitely done our duty as far as BDing. So we'll see.

Love and God bless,
Karin

Congrats!!!!!!! That is wierd about your condition. My friend had that, and now every time I hear that someone has multiple miscarriages I think of that, and sure enough it is. I am very surprised that doctorsGP's are not more knowledgeable about it yet. I am so sorry for all your losses, I think my heart would've broken. I am so glad that God has ansered your plea=)!!! We're going to start trying again in December. I am praying for boy and girl twins, because I wanted two more, but DH only wants one and he is going to get fixed afterwards=(. I am praying for a miracle, but then God doesn't work in a box, haha, it 's just my desire, because I see no other choice for now. I am glad God is God and I am not, lol. May his will be done, (and maybe, just maybe, it'll be the same as mine in regards to this, haha). Blessings to you and on your pregnancy.

juniper willow - Wednesday, 9 July
hi there as you all know by my blog..IT IS A BOY..but I wanted to share the rest of my NT screen tests with you because many have asked. The measuremenst wer immediately read and were great 1.5 and well within "normal" they then took blood for what they call a second testing..and we got ourt blood results back yesterday...these screens just give you a risk factor and cannot rule out DS or other problems completely but...Before the test due to our ages and family history our chances of achild with DS was 1 in 68..kind of scary and then they called yesterday and said our reulst were fabulous and the now risk factor is 1 in 1,312...the same risk as a healthy 20 year old!! So, they said to enjoy my 20 year old body.:) who knew!:) anyway, we weren't gping to do an amnio anyway due to tyhe risk factor and of course, we'd be keeping our little boy regradless but the doctor said he wouldn't even suggest one with these results and that he would just do teh quad 4 and the u/s at 20 weeks so we are! Just wanted to update ya'll...still packing away and tryyingh to get ready..can't believe I am leaving europe in just 5 days!! what a new life we have ahead of us!

elizhay - Tuesday, 8 July
Hey everyone, just a quicky update. Olivia has an appt yesterday with the Physio Dept at the hospital. we got a new brace or her that we can take on and off as we please which is great. her feet will be normal soon. we had the option of leaving well alone but i didnt want to take the risk of her not being able to walk properly, there would be a chance that she would walk on the side of her foot instead of flat footed. as mothers, we dont want there to be any reason for them to be picked on so we chose to use the brace. i havent uploaded a pic of the new one yet as i havent been feeling well. depression is setting in along with the anxiety. somedays it all seems too much!! Anyhow, we go back to the Physio on the 21st and to teh Audiology for more hearing tests on the 24th. wish us lucky. take care all!! love amanda
