Hi everyone my name is Missy and my husbands name is Kevin. We are expecting our first baby Dec. 27, 2007. The day after my husbands birthday! (I think he planned it) We found out April 23rd that I was 6 weeks pregnant. I had no idea; 1st sign was a week long battle with heartburn! Tums seem to be my best friend these days.
We found out July 26 we are having a BABY BOY!!! We are so excited!
I am always looking for advice and information... this is all new to me. While at work I spend more time on these pregnancy sites than I should, but oh well! :)

lol! yea.strangley my stomach is smaller than it was pre pregnancy. guess that comes from nursing and living in a contant stressed out state waiting for baby to cry.

congratulations on your new baby. A great baby book is called Baby Wise. It helped me with my first baby. It really helps with getting on a schedule- not a strict one tho its really good. Anyway hope I get my baby soon today is my due date.

that is what keeps happening to me - my bp goes way up but no protein in urine and dizzines and nausea, then my bp goes way down - i went to the er a few wks ago it was 160/110 then bombed to 70/41. it happened to me last time, but one day it was way up and i was full term so he sentme on to be induced. dontcha hate it??

monday doc came. set up drip. came back ruptured sac and let it start. contractions were quick . try to keep up deep breathing in some form, even if u groan while exahaling...or shout :). induced labour is faster .i started just after 8 in the morning and was done by 2 in the afternoon. try to surrender your body to the process. u will feel a bit removed. have your husband near. note: the urge to push does not hurt. once u get through the labour i.e. contractions you should be fine. God send his angels to watch over you.

i hope this helps you. i had the exact same thing. pressure was normal all along. then shot up on sat. to 150/90. got sent straight to hospital for observation but doc came on sunday to say he'd induce on monday morning. i was so scared and tried to back out (ha!) and of course my pressure rose another notch. i prayed the whole night read my bible. finally i just surrendered it all. asked God to send his angels and slept. pt 2 coming

My sinus' and and cold/flu took over this week and not taking anything isnt fun.. but at least I am at home everyday and not having to work or run around.
I have a doc appt on Monday and maybe soon 1 last sonogram to see my lil girl and how much she is weighing currently.
I am ready for the fun to begin! :)~ Yea let me know how it goes
