This is me and my husband of 2 years as of the 11th of November. We have been together since 2004. I have been divorced and had 4 beautiful kids with my ex. My current husband and I have 1 daughter and a second one on the way. We were all hoping for another boy being that I only have one but I am still excited about another girl (even my girls wanted another brother). My 4 oldest kids live with their grandmother/my mother because there were some problems while I was going through my divorce with my last husband. I see them as much as I can and love every minute I get to spend with them. Due to all the distress they have been through and I don't want to inflict on them again, I am continuing to let my mom have custody until they are old enough to choose where they want to be. My youngest daughter and my oldest kids adore each other, and they are all excited about the new baby coming. We have already figured out a name for our baby, her name will be Alyssa Lee. Close to mine but not exact (mine being Melissa Lee).

A little update. We are going on Wednesday night, to see the labor and delivery area of the hospital, we are Hoping to make it there when I have Alyssa, I also have a doctors appointment on Thursday morning so I will give another update after that.

Friday, 16 Nov

Well to start with the good news we took the tour of the hospital we are hoping to make it to when it's time and it's great. They will let me keep Alyssa in the room with me during my whole stay, my daughter can be there and I can have any visitors I want unless she ends up in NICU (lets hope not). The maternity area is in complete lock down so I don't have to worry there either. The bad news is I went for my doctors appointment today and did my glucose test and it came back at 159 and it should have been under 130. I have to go back next Wednesday to do the 3 hour test. Hopefully I don't have GD but I guess we will see. I got a new ultrasound picture of Alyssa if you want to see it in the photos.

Friday, 23 Nov

I did my test on Wednesday. I almost got sick but I laid down and fell asleep so that the glucola wouldn't come back up. Unfortunately I won't find out the results till at least Monday. I would really like to know now but I guess I don't have a choice. Anyway I will let everyone know as soon as I find out.

I got my results today and I passed all 4 draws. After much stress over the weekend, I feel much better now.

Wednesday,12 Dec

We went for a doctors appointment today and Alyssa kept opening and closing her mouth. In one of the pictures it looks like she is smiling. Doctor said she is approx. 2lbs 4oz and that she is breech this time and she wasn't last time. I thought she looked like she was going to have cute chunky cheeks unlike her brother and sisters. I can't wait to see what she looks like.

Friday, 1 Feb

I went to the doctor today and found out that this time my girl is head down and we are dilated to a 1. I told the doctor that I am getting very impatient. He said she should be here anytime within the next 4 weeks. Which sounds to me like he just knocked a week off my due date.

Thursday, 21 Feb

I went to the doctor and found out that I have a bladder infection. I told him I always feel like my water is going to break after going to the bathroom and that's when he told me what the problem was. I was really happy that he asked me if I wanted to be induced next week. I told him yes if she isn't here by Friday Feb 29th we are going to get induced. I can't wait. She is weighing in at 7lbs. I haven't changed as far as dilating I am still a 1. For the last couple weeks she has had her hands over her face so I finally got a new ultrasound picture this week. Stubborn kid I'm not sure if she takes after me or her dad. :) Anyway I have one more appointment next Thursday if I haven't had her yet and then Friday we will be having a baby.

woke up in a very thoughtful mood today, my man has been cheating no suprise there the guys a born bastard! but there comes a time when u have to look at your situation and ask if a nice lifestyle and stuff is worth all the stress and humiliation and sleepless nights? answer no its not !! ive got that used to bein around him living in his house working for him ect that it just seems like the big wide world is a scary place at the minute! my friends are determined that i leave him this time as his latest fling has been goin on for over 14 months yeah long time considerin how we ttc'd for over a year at his suggestion ????? so feeling pretty low and shitty today and hoping for sum divine intervention lol??
