Hi there! Alexandria was born May 22 at 8:06 am and was 8 lbs 9 oz and about 21 inches long. my bag of waters broke spontaneously at about 1:30 am and she was born just 6.5 hours later. It was pretty rough but I managed to have her all natural, which is something I've always dreamed of doing.

So how are you and your little man doing? He is absolutely gorgeous!

I have a doctor's appt this evening, but I'm sure she's just going to tell me nothing is happening. Ho hum. I'm going to be the last one left on here--emaling myself and twiddling my thumbs!

The fact the baby is high is definitely why I have no pain. All those aches and pains the other ladies have are from the babies preparing their hips and cervixes for the birth. That's what is kind of nerve-wracking. I guess I'm going to end up progressing all at once rather than gradually.

I missed the fun aspects of being pregnant but I never forgot how much I hated not being able to breath and how uncomfportable it is during the last month. If I could have babies without the rhinitis and skip the last month I'd become a professional surrogate mom! ;)

My hubby likes to do a lot of things too, but I am way to huge for anyone to forget that I am pregnant! People have even commented that it DOES look like my stomach gets higher every day! I swear this baby is moving in the wrong direction. My hubby says she is going to be born through my mouth!

It's great that you have a date for sure. This wating game is brutal. I have already done the grocery shopping thing (over and over!) and everything is all set, but it seems she is never going to want to come out!

I am feeling great though. I decided to stop sitting around the house waiting for her to come out and have been getting out and doing more things. I had a wonderful weekend. My only uncomfortable symptions are this stuffy nose I have had all through both of my pregnancies and swollen ankles and feet, so I really cannot complain. I just wish I had a crystal ball. . . ;)

My baby was estimated to be 8 lbs 4 ounces last Tues, so she must be about 8.5 lbs already :( I'm not dialated or effaced or anything--so much for second babies coming sooner. I have a feeling she is going to come AFTER my due date, just like my son did. The doctor said there's no way I am going to dialate unless she drops down a little bit-she is way too high for my contractions to do any good.

So happy for you that you'll have your little one to hold in about 4 days. So exciting! Have a happy Mother's Day!
