Friday, 8 August Hi you!! How are you and how is the baby? How are you feeling? Allecia73 -
Friday, 8 August I didn't see any stretch marks until I got to about 30 weeks and it was on my sides, by my hips...that was with my first child. My mom was the same way and I hear it's genetic so you might ask your mom. And, they weren't really bad ones. I hear that you can do everything in the world to prevent them but if it's in your genes then you just don't have a chance...just what I read and experienced. I don't have any new stretch marks now and I am hoping they won't ever come!!! ha ha!

Thursday, 7 August I get happy to see and hear my baby, and I cant wait to find out if it is a boy or girl... but I dont get all weepy or over excited... I dont really talk about the baby either unless someone else asks me about it.. Hubby and I havent picked out baby names..so I would say I dont really bond either.. however I was the same way with my son.. even when he was born they wanted me to hold him and I told them no my arms were numb and I wasnt doing anything until someone let me have something to drink... But from then on out I have tons and tons of bonding and I never felt bad at any time for how I felt...Until then I guess.. I just take care of myself :) I wouldnt worry AshleyD -
Tuesday, 5 August How funny you just got his little head. Cute. He is already shy I guess. How long did the US last? Did you drink anything before that would make him move more? I have mine on Tues. and just want to be able to see her better. They told me to drink coffee or sprite an hour before I go in. Just wonering if you happened to do any of these things. Congrats on at least seeing the back of his little head and everything being good and normal and healthy! preggersagain2 -
Tuesday, 5 August Hi Windy, I just read your post on the week 18 board.,,,and I hear you! We had our big ultra sound today and out little guy would not stop moving!!! We couldn't get a decent picture. It was exciting to see what we are having, but truth be told, I'm a little bummed that we didn't get a good picture... Good luck with the rest of the weeks, see you in week 19!! kiggs -
Sunday, 3 August Just get the reg body pillow at target for 10.00. sdgirljen -
Saturday, 2 August I have the same problem. Though, my body pillow was only 15 bucks at bed bath and beyond. I am also starting prenatal yoga on Mon. My dr. recommended that as well as a back supporter you can find at Babys-r-us. She said, the back pain is a normal part of pregnancy. :( sasrafrass -
Saturday, 2 August I bought a body pillow at Target last week and it was only $10 dollars plus another $10 for the pillow case which is really soft and fuzzy. Not sure which target had them for $55 but if you look now maybe you'll find one for the price I did! Good luck!!! :) Just Jodi -
Saturday, 2 August I was having REALLY bad lower back pains and I tried a body pillow and it didn't help me... I just felt really uncomfortable with it, but just a normal pillow between my legs did the job PERFECTLY and I woke up feeling like I had never slept before in my life!!! niknak -
Saturday, 2 August Hi from week 30... just browsing a few different weeks of questions and saw yours....I found a like new body pillow at a garage sale and paid $5. I would be so much more miserable right now with out it. Definitely worth spending the money on. Maybe Craigs List? Good LucK! sarahjm731 -
Saturday, 2 August hey, I saw your post and i just wanted to let you know that i bought my maternity pillow at burlington coat factory for like 25-35 dollars and it is boppy brand, the same one I saw at target and it is awesome i use it ever night hope this helps ALN -
Saturday, 2 August i did the whole temp. charting, timing and everything else it said to have a girl...and we got our girl. I believe in that method 100%. lori1399 -
Saturday, 2 August I had the same pain in my hips, too. I didn't want to have to spend $50-$60 on a body pillow so I just used an extra pillow from our spare room and I sleep on my left side with the pillow between my legs. It worked for me. You might want to try that before you spend so much on a body pillow. Good luck!! karisueboo -
Saturday, 2 August I got this body pillow I got at babies r us and it was $60 dollars and it is amazing. I provides all the support I need and it even supports my belly so I dont have all that weight on my hips and lower back in the morning! I say get it, it is more than worth it. Oh and the one I got converts into a donut shape that i can prop the baby up on when she gets here!! Good luck! katiew22 -
