I'm a 32 year old, expecting my 3rd child (6th pregnancy). I have 2 son's who are 9 & 12. I've had 2 miscarriages and a still birth all in the 2nd trimester. We had a cerclage put in on Jan 4th with this pregnancy.

Jan 2/08: I had an ultra sound at 7 weeks, and was able to see the heartbeat, but today I was able to "hear" the heartbeat which was the most wonderful sound. 150 bpm...

Jan 6/08: Had my cerclage put in on friday, 2 stitches. Procedure went well. All I can do is keep my fingers crossed and pray for the best. 12 weeks along now, only 195 days to go..lol

Jan 8/08: I had a fever and some mild cramps for the last 2 days, so at the doctors appt, we did an ultrasound. All is well and the cerclage still looks good. wow how my lil one has grown since the last time. My lil one was jumping up and down, we couldnt even get a good picture since my lil one wouldnt stay still. Its so wonderful to be able to see how real your child is and to be able to watch and feel them grow, memories last forever (the pics are great too..lol)

Feb 2/08: So far so good. The lil one seems to be doing well. As for me, I just found out I have Pulminary Hypertension and labor might not be good for my heart or lungs. So we'll see what the doctor suggests at my next appt on Feb 11. I hope to find out what I'm having at my next doctors appt. I'm just hoping for a healthy baby =)

Apr 5/08: Its been awhile since I've updated, so I thought I would pop in and give a quick update. All is going well and I'm now 25w. I'm excited to announce that I'm having a girl. My cerclage is still holding strong and I'm still getting it checked every 2 weeks. I had a fetal assessment and my lil girl weighs almost 2lbs and looks great. she's been very active and I enjoy every second of her kicks.lol
