Children Are A Blessing From GOD!

Our gorgeous daughter was born August 19th, 1996.

then.. after being told by doctors that we couldn't have anymore children due to medical reasons, when we least expected it, God blessed us with our little Miracle 11 years later.

Apparently doctors do not know everything. :)

When I was 26 weeks pregnant, a teen-age girl crossed two lanes of traffic and slammed into my vehicle. I went into labor less than 24 hours later.

Our handsome son entered the world 14 weeks early on June 15th, 2007

2 pounds 1 ounce

13 inches long.

Our beautiful daughter Katelyn:

She is growing into such a beautiful young woman that any mother or father would be VERY proud of!

She is a wonderful big sister!

The Prayers and support that we received from this site has been AMAZING!

I have made some new friendships that I will cherish for the rest of my life!

I truly believe that everything happens for a reason!

Thank you for being there for me... you know who you are!! ;)

Hi. Thanks for the comments about Lilly. Yes she is maintaining her own body temp really well. She got placed into the Open Crib today. She is slowly taking more via bottle now. That is the last thing we are working on before she is released. She is up to 4lbs 3 ozs at the last weigh in. She is doing so good.

Hey there, I just want to tell u we both are the parents of miracle babies my son was born when I was 25weeks he weighed 1lb 11oz and he is not going on 2yrs old and almost 25lbs!! My daughter was born when I was 29 weeks she was 2lbs 8oz and now is 13 months old and almost 20lbs!! I am so blessed and God Bless u and ur beautiful family

Hey there!

WHEW sounds like you have been busy! I think that's so cool about the consignment thing and if you sell all your stuff that will be a nice little chunk of change. I wish we had something like that around here. I'm going to have a yard sale next month, but some of Gage's big stuff like stroller car seat/bases that kind of stuff I may put on Craigs list and see how it does-all of his stuff is in great condition and I don't want to just give it away!!! Let me know how you do! That's a really cool idea-good luck

I can't believe that Dr hasn't called yet. It's been a month and he's just dragging his feet. Honestly. it can't take too long to read those things. I know you are getting frustrated and if he doesn't call you soon maybe you just need to go get Zaydens medical records and go see a NEW Dr. I hope and pray he calls soon and with good news too!!!

Gage's B-day is coming up soon and I have ALOT to do to get ready. Our house is small and I'm worried if it rains that we won't be able to accomodate everyone so I think we are going to rent a room at the same place I had my baby shower that way it's inside in the AC and we don't have to worry about our house. It's going to be anywhere from 50-80 people I have a HUGE family and then all our friends and their families UUUGGGHHHHH It's going to be alot but I think it will be fun and everyone will be able to celebrate Gage's BIG DAY! I can't wait-I'm so EXCITED!!!!!!

I totally understand you being busy and hopefully things will start to settle down for ya'll. It was great to hear from you. You take care and give that sweet boy of yours a squeeze from me!!!!

Okay lady I haven't heard from you so I'm checking in on you to see how things are going! I hope GREAT!!!!!

Gage has started crawling and no matter how many toys I put down he goes straight for the remote/tv/dvd player or anything else he SHOULD NOT be playing with-I have a feeling this little stinker is going to have me on my toes! Still no Ma-ma but I am constantly saying it over and over and all I get is HI-DA!! HI-DA!!!!!

I hope you are doing well! Update me when you get a chance-I miss chatting with you!!!!

Joshua was 8 weeks early. He was also about 2-3 weeks IUGR . He was also diagnosed failure to thrive. They said his mouth,cheek, and jaw muscles were underdeveloped. A couple months of physical therapy solved that for the most part. They were having me mix 1/2 breast milk 1/2 28 calorie formula for 3 feedings a day. Now it is only 2x a day and 22 calorie preemie formula. My husband got a little upset at spending a lot for the pics but, they showed all his milestones so well! It was about time I posted some new ones too! Zaden is just so adorable! His eyes are going to attract a lot of girls later on (he-he)

Hello!! Im feeling alright..sleepy a little nauseous but you caught me on a good day!! Besides my two hour nap with Nixon...Im good!! Nixon is doing great! I am starting to think about planning his first birthday party...sob sob... cant believe its in a month already! He is just about walking!! Pushes his little push toy around the whole house, and then will do a few steps on his own!! Im excited, but sooooo not ready for a walking baby! Im still adjusting to this crawling and climbing into eveyrthing stage!

How is Zayden doing? Super cute as always, i just love all the pictures of him. Do you have them done professionaly? Whats new and exciting? Did you ever get the results regarding his seizures? I suppose I could read your page for that update too...but I like hearing from you..hehe.

I hope all is well, have you talked hubby into just one more yet? wink wink.
