Children Are A Blessing From GOD!

Our gorgeous daughter was born August 19th, 1996.

then.. after being told by doctors that we couldn't have anymore children due to medical reasons, when we least expected it, God blessed us with our little Miracle 11 years later.

Apparently doctors do not know everything. :)

When I was 26 weeks pregnant, a teen-age girl crossed two lanes of traffic and slammed into my vehicle. I went into labor less than 24 hours later.

Our handsome son entered the world 14 weeks early on June 15th, 2007

2 pounds 1 ounce

13 inches long.

OHHHHH Poor baby! He wants to take a nap! I know this has got to be hard on the both of you. Here's hoping the next couple hours go by fast so he can get to his appt and catch some ZZZZZZZ.

wow! it is a miracle that your son survied! he is so cute! my cousion had her daughter 12 weeks early-and she weigh about as much as your son did! now she is almost 2 years old! it is so amazing!

aww, thank you, no I absolutely do not mind, I need and can use every prayer, so thank you...and he sent me a very immature text by immature it was a 2 year old girl saying fuzzy wiggles or something...but sounded like a bad word...he did call yesterday, but I didnt answer...he is missing out, but then again, he doesnt deserve to know my lil one, he obviously gets his fighting from MY side..lol...:) and yes a laptop would be nice..hmmm, something to mention to my mom...lol...well I very much hope I get to update you tomorrow :) again, thank you, you have no idea how much this really means to me, I go from feeling completely lost and alone, to warm, and hopeful...:)so thank you

Hi there! Thank you so much, I am doing "ok" a little nervous, and scared and cautiously hopeful...I met with my dr on friday and from his words it seems that Matthew (my lil man) is not going downward, instead he is doing little waves, he will improve and then go down, then improve..and from him, his anemia did not get worse, in fact that may have improved "a smiggen" (drs words)...so he made me feel much better than the woman dr from my last u/s...however I go in today at 3pm for my u/s that will let me know for today how he is, and if we will be admitted into the hospital...we are hoping that at the very least things are the same...but we will see...guess if I am not on tomorrow..we know that I am in the hospital...here is hoping everything is at least the same :)

Thanks for writing back again. As far as I know they havent done any brain scans on Lilly. But this evening they told my daughter that they were picking up some residual bowel sounds and that they saw that her bowels were dialated some and this was cause for concern and they wanted to run some tests on her tomorrow. They said they couldnt tell her if it was serious or not right now. So naturally she was scared out of her mind and her hubby emailed me and asked me to call the NICU and see what I could find out , so I did. THey sent a Nurse Practtioner down to talk with Brittany about it, I havent heard from her yet. I know she is scared to death that something is going to happen to Lilly and so am I. Aside from that they told her that Lilly has "cockeye" which I am assuming is "squinting" or "Lazy Eye" ? It runs in our family. Thanks for talking with us, it would have been nice to have met you in person also. BUt Im kinda glad we didnt have to go to St. Louis because Cape is closer to our home.

I just got some new pictures up of the girls and of our new driveway. I'm now getting ready to take down the chicken wall paper that's in our Kitchen. Hopefully we can paint it in a few weeks as soon as I get it down. Hope all is good and hope to talk to you soon!!!
