Hey everyone, welcome !

Let me introduce us and write down what happened up till now, i am 28 years old and am together with my angel Gabriel for 4 years now. Since october 2007 we live together and for a while now we have been thinking of a baby, finally, we decided to go for it.

At the end of january i stopped taking contraception and by the end of february i did a pregnancytest; it was positive!! I had really bad cramps at that time that were worrying me alot. Made and appointment with the gyn but he couldn't lokalize a pregnancy, although my HCG hormone level clearly indicated i was pregnant. About these severe cramps, these were not to worry about and would go away, so he said. Of course this was not the case, instead they kept getting worse, so i finally ended up in emergency on saturday, the 1st of March. After another ultrasound they still couldn't see anything so they decided to operate immediatly. They were convinced i had an extra-uterine pregnancy.

When i woke up after surgery, the gyn came in the room and told me that after all it wasn't an extra-uterine pregnancy but merely an extremely large cyste on my left ovary that had also begun bleeding - hence the pain i was having. They took it out and after that had been searching where the pregnancy was, but still couldn't find anything.

The doctor was not so optimistic about my pregnancy, since they still couldn't localize it. So i went home, had alot of pain for a week and was left with an unsure feeling about all this.

On the 6th of March i went for another ultrasound, and there it was! We could see it clearly on the monitor - even the doc seemed surprised about what he saw: my little baby had been hiding all this time! Gabriel and me were over the moon!

20-03-2008:

Another ultrasound; saw and heard the heartbeat, waw what an incredible feeling to know that there is another heart beating inside of you!!

24-04-2008:

Bloodtest and ultrasound. Checked for Down's syndrome and everything is OK! Our little angel is now 6,5 cm (don't know in inches) and very active. Jumping and dancing...so funny to see! The gyn couldn't determine the sexe yet - still too early - first he said he was about 60% sure it's a girl, untill it was in another position and then something bigger became visible, lol. Will have to w8 till next time, am very curious though! So far everything is going good, luckily i haven't been feeling sick, i am just incredibly tired (feel like i can sleep all day)hopefully i'll have some more energy soon.

03-05-2008:

Today i'm in a lazy mood, just like the past 4 days. I am suffering from very bad headaches these past few days - am starting to worry a little. Is this normal? Apart from that i can't complain, exept that my behind seems to get bigger every day :( Some people tell me: Hey, are you pregnant? Congratulations!! I thought so, you look pregnant! And i'm like: What u mean i look pregnant, my tummy doesn't really show yet, so you must refer to my gigantic derrière right? Grrr... I can't wait till my belly starts to look like a "pregnant belly" because for now i look like some1 that is eating too much candy and sweets and needs to go on a diet asap. Well, to be honest, it's such a lovely day, who doesn't like to eat an icecream outside in the sun...
