hey, there i'm so excited to se that there so many other women out thiere that have the same due date as me. so yes i'm 21 and on my way to having a second child not exactly where i wanted to be when i had children but things happen and i couldent be happier. i already have a three and a half year old little boy i call him my little terrrorist and he cant wait to see whats in mommies 'baby belly' as he calls it. with both of my pregnancys i'v experienced and still am a condition in pregnancy called hyperemesis gravdarium it rare it's sever nausea and vomiting it almost impossible to keep anything down soon it's becomes a cause to be hospitalized and hydraded and medicated to help bring you back to health. with my son i had a terrible time i had no idea what was wrong with me i thought i was dying litterly and the doctors where little help to me until they knew what was wrong and that took weeks and in the mean time i was sedaded and on a high dosege anti nausea medicine for cancer patients. but once they knew what it was i was properly medicated save to say the medicine they gave me to start with when they didnt know what it was, was the only medicine that worked.... but after all that altought i had to endure the morning sickness times ten the whole nine months i deliverd a week late to a healthy 8pds 7 oz little boy.....

and know: i endure the same thing but this time around i have a very good docotor and the minute we confimed i was pregnant i was on the medicine again but unfortionatly that medicine i was immune to and didn't work for long and i was back into the hospital until they found what a medicine that was both safe for me and my embryo at the time. one could think how can something so small wreak so much havoc???no clue but they do. it safe to say my doctor found an anti nausa medicine that safe and works miricals and by tomorrow i will be able to tell just how healthy she really is. since week 16 i felt her move and now she just a kicking and moving away like shes always been there can wait to see if its really a girl i feel like it is and my job all say so too but we will see... ttys love always..... ACACIA until next time.

Hey, nothing here yet!

I'm right there with you girl. I woke up with serious cramping this morning moving from my back to my front. Moving was almost impossible and my contractions were pretty close majority of the day, but I don't want to go to the hospital because I went last week and I thought my water broke, but my cervix was leaning back and closed. I was so upset because I had passed my mucous plug a week and a half from that night. I was so disappointed. Keep your chin up and try to stay positive. I read today that getting upset and stuff only prolongs the process. Try to get busy doing something to keep your mind off of the pain. I know that is hard, but I know you can do it. Oh and there's a full moon on wednesday night. My grandma says that good things happen on full moons for pregnant women. Good Luck:)

andrealeigh - Tuesday, 17 June
I was wondering if your doctor said anything about your pelvic pain. Since last week I have been in almost unbearable pain, I am going to the doctors tomorrow. I hope you feel better soon

Oh my gosh!!! I'm telling you life sucks really bad rignt now and I know exactly what you're going through. I keep getting contactions and they're not consistant and it is really pissing me off. I just want my little boy as well. I want to drink castor oil but I'm really scared that it won't work and then I'll be disappointed. Everyone says to have sex, but my other half is afraid of me and he won't do it. uhhh... I hate people who are having their babies already!!! Sorry...

cmommy08 - Saturday, 14 June
I'm right behind you on that right now. I'm so angry and tired and any little thing bugs me. My back has been aching and I am so sick of having this child in my body. I have a really bad back and now it feels even worse. Nasea has set in as well and I have been losing weight. Life is no fun and it sucks right now. I hope you feel better.

I FOUND THIS ON WWW.MATERNITYCORNER.COM
I bought that evening oil yesterday so I hope it softens my cervix. With my first baby I was induced and my cervix was so stubborn.

Evening Primrose Oil and Red Raspberry Leaf Tea

Neither will actually induce labor. While some lay midwives will argue that statement about the Evening Primrose, which is the reason it is not recommended until 36 weeks or "full term", almost all sources with experience agree that it does nothing that the body was not ready to do on its own. I will repeat this at the end of this section, to make sure you understand this, as there is a lot of confusion and misconception surrounding these two substances.

Evening primrose oil is an excellent source of prostaglandins, which we already determined readies your cervix for labor. It can be taken orally as soon as 34 weeks, and can be applied directly to the cervix at full term (36 weeks). The general recommendation is two 500mg
capsules per day until week 38, at which time you increase to 3-4 per day. The entire capsule can be inserted vaginally (inserted just before bed, it will dissolve before the first time you wake to use the bathroom), or you can use the oil on your fingers for your perineal massage, then also rub on your cervix (assuming you can reach it). Applying directly to the cervix is optimal, but the beneficial ingredients are absorbed through the external skin or the stomach also.

Red raspberry leaf tea is a uterine tonic used by Native Americans for thousands of years. It tones your uterus by helping to "focus" your Braxton Hicks contractions. Think of its job as helping your uterus do more effective exercising while you are pregnant. It does not "cause" contractions and can be safely used throughout pregnancy. It is contraindicated for those having complications "just in case", however, by most doctors who do not understand its use. Many women safely use it from the moment they learn they are pregnant at six weeks until months after delivery. (It helps to tone the uterus after delivery as well, shrinking it back to size more quickly and reducing bleeding.)

Again, neither of these actually causes labor to start!

I have not tried the oil either but I am going to buy some today. I dont know if I should ask my doctor or just do it. Anyways good luck to yuo and your babies

thisonesaboy - Wednesday, 4 June
Eveing primrose oil is a herb. iT IS REALLY GOOD FOR DIGESTION, YOUR SKIN, EVEN PMS. Google it...to read more but I never tried it for labor. You can get it at health food stores..like Whole Foods. I am thinking about buying some today I just read that some girls are using it down there???

thisonesaboy - Wednesday, 4 June
Hello it sounds like we had the exact same doctor appointment yesterday. I wasnt expecting him to check me but I keep reading ont he website how all these women are dialated. Wow...I wander if the braxton hicks are doing anything because I have those all dall and night. They just got more powerful on the day that I hit 36 weeks too. Good luck !

Can I just say I know how you feel having a 3 yr old and being pregnant.. Im so scared to be a single Mom again.. Its good to hear that somone else has a story like mine. Keep your head high. Its hard I know..

ErinInSchool - Wednesday, 28 May
No problem, at least your first pregnancy was not complicated, mine isn't either, execpt all the pain, but I just have to live with it, I just keep thinking about the trade off and that all this stress is worth it.

NumberFive - Wednesday, 28 May

ErinInSchool - Tuesday, 27 May
I get so sore as well, but thank god that I don't start hurting untill after Im done, lol. My boyfriend makes fun of me because he can last longer then me now, im always so tired. But hey, I'll keep doing it, especialy since he may be joining the military right after William is born, so I have to get what I can now. Good luck, and just think, so all the discomfort will be gone, we will jsut have a crying baby insted.

mizzhoney - Monday, 26 May
OMG I know exactly what you're talking about as far as craving the smell of something. I crave the smell of baby powder. I just have to smell it. Why? I have no idea. I looked it up. I think it's called "olfactory craving". Well congrats on your little one.
