Sorry, I understand now how hard it is to get on the computer now! I gave birth Jan 31st at 9:47 pm, (I was induced), Lucy weighed 9lbs 5 oz and was 22 in long! She is one big girl! I am so happy to finally have her here! How are things going with you?? Good I hope! Talk to you soon~Susie

well, i know with my first child, i was hooked up because of losing the plug and I was having contractions that i could not feel. they went ahead and induced. i am just glad that i have chosen doctors that are more interested in getting us done so they have one less patient to show up in the middle of the night. ha ha ha

how long ur cycle is... from the first day of ur period until the day before your next. you ovulate about 14 days before your period starts. u can opk to find out when u ovulate. if u have a normal cycle of 28 days u prob ovulate the 14th day

Yeah, my due date is actually on monday (feb. 4th) but they want to bring me to the hospital on Tuesday and give me something to soften my cervix then wednesday morning the induction begins haha. Good luck to you!! Maybe we will have our boys on the same day!! :D

what is up with that? I have not heard of being forced to wait a week. do you have a midwife or a doctor? I was induced with both of my kids. I would like to know what it feels like to not be induced.

For me the induction didn't really hurt. But then again, I wasn't feeling contractions to begin with. However, the contractions did start hurting a lot (about 2 or 3x the amount the worst period I've ever had) about 7 hours after the pitocin started. Don't know if induction hurts more than a regular birth, but I have nothing to compare it to. Still...overall it wasn't too bad. Congrats on your little one. I bet you're excited, scared, impatient, and then excited all over again. :) Good luck.

HI there. I was induced last time and it was great. It was quick, painful but manageable as I didn't have any drugs and thought that I would need them. Being induced worked really well for me I am hoping that I will be induced again. Good Luck you will be fine. I found that I expected the worst and was pleasently surprised.

I am so excited/happy for you..Well at least you know this is coming to an end.. This whole time I have been really good with the mood swings... hardly any.. but lately... between wanting to get this over with and have her here and not sleeping but maybe 3 hrs a night.. I have become a real b****.... and I know I have... but I just have to keep thinking... Maybe she will come before 41 weeks (next sat)...:(

nothing still. i have been feeling like he is moving lower because at times i have a hard time breathing and then i have this sudden feeling and then it becomes easier...not sure if its just in my head. i have to wait til next week too! it is disappointing but then again we cant be madd at our little baby....even though we are like COME OUT ALREADY!! lol i would give anything right now to hear those cries!

My first baby came a week and a half late. It was soooo hard to wait. Your little one will come when it is time. Hang in there. It won't be long. Maybe you should do jumping jacks or something:) Are you still working or have you taken maternity leave yet? Maybe you should start a projict to take your mind off things - like make some dinners to store in the freezer for when the baby comes or paint a room or something. I just know how long the days seem when you are just waiting for a sign of labor. I wish you the best!

Well, the midwife couldn't do the sweep as my cervix is still closed :( She is seeing me again on Tuesday, so will try again then. If there is still no baby she said I will have to go in for induction, which I really don't want!!

Going good, no signs though. I have to be at the hospital at 4:30 am for induction. I should be sleeping, but I dont know if that is going to be possible. How about you?

I know.. but it just makes it easier when you have a 'for sure' ate of when she will be here.. the doc said that she will be here before they would have to induce me...I guess thats just the hospitals take... they would rather have you go on your own then have to induce. So I don't know.. I know she'll be here... but I just hate to waiting.. like everyone else! haha...

all i have felt is the normal tightening and cramping in my belly but nothing that will get me to the hospital....i just dont get it..i feel not normal. how about you...any signs of going into labor soon.

Hi no baby yet ..i think lily must be too cosy in there .
The midwife is coming to my house on friday to do a sweep and if that doesnt work i am booked in for a induction for 7th feb.
Any sign of labour yourself ?

HI there..I think with my son if my memory serves me correctly that he slowed down his movements before he was born. I know the night before he was active but that was because I was at a concert and the music was driving him crazy. But near the end they don't have much room left.
