Here's a little story about me:

I am 30 years old and expecting my 2nd child, although this is my 3rd pregnancy. On March 29th 2004 I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks on the 8th anniversary of my dad's death. I learned early on in life that things happen for a reason, starting when my dad died my senior year of high school when I was only 17. Then after having my miscarriage I ended up moving shortley before that baby would have been due and I would have had no insurance. My circumstances with this pregnancy aren't that great considering my partner and I are both married...just not to each other. HAHA! Ok let me explain so that it doesn't seem soooo bad. I have been seperated for well over a year and hopefully the divorce will be over with soon, he has been seperated for 4 years and lives so far away from his wife he hasn't even seen her face in 2 1/2 years. This relationship didn't start 'again' until after our marriages had split. That's right I said "again". We dated and lived together over 10 years ago. We are not strangers to each other. We have been dating this time for a year. X's are usually just that for a reason but we only split because he was going into the military and I was a home body. So needless to say he went into the Air Force and became a military man and I went into the Police Academy and became a certified Peace Officer. Now neither of us are in that field as a career. This pregnancy was totally not planned but again I learned early in life that things happen for a reason and if this wasn't meant to be, it wouldn't be happening.

Update on my story:

My divorce was final September 25th, and supposidly my boyfriend's wife is getting the papers worked out for their divorce especially now that she knows I'm pregnant. I'm just glad mine is over...to me it was more important to get mine over with since I'm the one pregnant and growing a big belly. Not so obvious for him that he is married because his wife lives so far away anyway, but everyone here knows me and my X-husband now so that was just weird being pregnant by another man and still married.

Update 2011

Wow hard to believe my last update was so long ago, that divorce mentioned in the last update was Sept. 2008. This is now March 2011. Time flies when your having fun I guess. My oh My how things have changed. My son is 2 now and as for his father, he's been out of the picture since I was 9 months pregnant. (So I guess I was wrong X's are just that for a reason) As a matter of fact they just issued a warrant for his arrest because he has only paid 2 weeks of child support during this entire 2 years. But he has also only seen him twice since March 2009 totaling 4 hours and 15 minutes spent with him in 2 years. But when Benjamin was 10 months old (Nov. 2009) a skate dancing buddy of mine from when I was 14 found me on myspace (not an X, just a buddy, he was to old for me then he was 19) and we've been together every since. Got married 1-1-11!!! My husband, Tony, hopes to adopt Benjamin sometime this year. I am currently in the process of talking to an attorney about what all I need to do to get this done.
