Hey Everyone! My name is Erica and I'm pregnant. I'm due on July 20th, 2008! I'm so excited. My husband is Jason and he is amazing! I love him so much, and I don't know what i'd do without him! My husband and I have been trying since our last misscarriage 2 years ago and it finally happened. Let's cross our fingers that everything goes ok this time. We also have an 8 year old daughter, named Justice. She's my lil' star! I had her when I was 17. I'm lucky to be a stay at home Mom. I enjoy reading, cooking, cleaning, sleeping, playing on the computer, shopping, sleeping, watching TV, eating and sleeping. Oh, did I mention sleeping? :o) I'd like to get to know other Mom's on here. I love this site so far. And to all that are pregnant, Good Luck!

Me and My Husband.

Me and my beautiful Daughter, Justice.

aerykat: Dont worry, i think everyones baby slowed down in moving a bit. They just dont really have the room to kick and punch anymore, but if you are worried , you should do the fetal kick count.. what you do is lay down, and count every movement you feel.. and you want more than 10 in an hour.. if in an hour you dont feel ten, drink something cold and sweet and do it again for another hour, if you still havent felt 10 in the two hours then call your dr, and see what he says ( he will prob have you come in) You can do this 2 times a day, but try to do it around the same time each day. I will also post this on your page. Good Luck.

That is so sweet! Thanks for your compliment...and you look great too!! We all feel like we look bad I think at times. It varies I think. Some days I feel huge! The mirrors in my house seem to be generous to me...but then if I step outdoors and go somewhere ...every other mirror makes me look gynormous!:):) I sometimes wonder what reality is! We will have our little babies in no time, though and can start back working on our figures:) I hope you are feeling well this week. I can't believe how time is flying!

Hey, how are things going? Keeping busy and growing like crazy??? Have you decided on a name for your little guy?

Things have been exciting on this end! On Monday night I went into preterm labour and they kept me in the hospital until Friday on bedrest. It made me very convinced that I want to be out of the hospital ASAP after our baby is born! Thank God they were able to stop it, and now I've had those steroid shots that help Baby's lungs develop, just in case it does decide to arrive. Baby seems extremely healthy, though - weighing in at 4 lbs 9 oz!!! That's two weeks ahead... so we're trying to keep it from coming for the time being, but I'm thinking that 36 weeks will be just about perfect if I don't want to give birth to a monster!!! I'm not on bedrest anymore, but really have to take it easy because as soon as I do too much I get painful BH - and I'm really not ready to have that baby yet!

Anyway, hope all is well with you! Take care!

buy the white hanes tshirts at your local walmart they only cost about 7 dollars for 3 and they made perfect night shirts afterwards. Also I found that South Pole makes a longer style shirt, as well as Aeropostale. Hope this helps

I've gained 30lbs too. I asked my doctor if i was being bad and she said not to worry about it that i was fine and i looked fine. I've gained it all in my stomach area anyways. But dude.....i eat candies and ice cream and cakes. BUT i have always eaten that stuff! BUT i eat good MEALS 3x a day. So whatever....everyone is diffrent......enjoy your milk and junk! Baby loves it!

VEry normal-I do it every preg. and still go to 40 plus weeks most times. Once I was dilated to a 2 by like 25 weeks but my OB is not concerned with my history. You're right, your daughter is beautiful

sarahj82 - Monday, 12 May
I take 2 like it asks for because one does not work for me. He said the tylenol will not hurt me or the baby plus we need our rest which i have not been getting AT ALL. How have you been feeling?

OrdinaryMiracle - Sunday, 11 May
Hope you're feeling better! Sounds like we weigh right around the same - I'm about 170 now, sigh. Are you going to breastfeed? Everyone says that really helps you lose the extra weight. Plus, a bunch of it is baby and associated fluids (maybe not as much as we wish, but some of it is!!!). For crying out loud, though, don't starve yourself! If you are hungry, eat! My favourite snack is SmartPop popcorn, which has loads of fiber that some of us preggos need a lot of. And it keeps me full longer, especially if I drink lots of water. But don't worry, the weight will come off, especially when you're running around after two kids!

Our nursery isn't don't either - our paint job was really crappy so now we need to touch it up a lot. It's one of those things that I'll do slowly over the next few weeks....

Apparently my problem is that my blood pressure is low, so now I'm off on medical leave for at least two weeks. I don't know what I'm going to do with myself! They're doing another ultrasound next week to make sure that there's no bleeding in the placenta, since I had a bit of bleeding after I fell from fainting. But I haven't had any since then and the baby has been really active, so I'm not too concerned about that.

Just to warn you when you come over to week 30 - hormones are high in this week, lots of controversy! It's kind of funny, actually.... I guess its bound to happen when a whole bunch of hormonal women get together!

Take care and have a great Mother's Day tomorrow!!!

britbabybelly - Friday, 9 May
thank you! and your not huge you look fine too!! :)

OrdinaryMiracle - Thursday, 8 May
How are things going? I'm sure that you are looking fabulous. LOL, don't feel too bad, I've gained 40 lbs!!! Mostly I feel like a blimp... but I haven't gained anything in 6 weeks, so hopefully this is all the pregnancy weight gain I get. I was on the low side of my ideal weight when I got pregnant, so I'm trying to convince myself that this is healthy.... How is the nursery coming along? We still have major painting touch-ups to do - can't wait to put it all together! You have a ranch? That is awesome! So great for kids! I have 3 horses and it is killing me not to ride right now.... Can't believe there's only 10 weeks left (theoretically...)! I am so excited to meet this little troublemaker - and make it through this pregnancy! I've really enjoyed being pregnant, but now starting to have a few issues with my heart and I'm wanting to hold a happy healthy little baby. Ah well, soon enough.

Take care and keep in touch!

elizabeth25 - Wednesday, 7 May
I can't wait to meet my baby either, and fit into my old pants. I'm just terrified of birth, scared out of my mind actually.

elizabeth25 - Tuesday, 6 May
100% agree with you. it bugs the daylights out of me that instead of my normal bath a day attitude, i'm now a 2 bath at least a day person...the smell bugs me that much, hopefully when lil munchkin gets here (and with my docs thoughts, a month early) it will go away.

elizabeth25 - Tuesday, 6 May
I am emitting the same odor...and it seems only i can smell it, or everyone is being really polite.

elizabeth25 - Tuesday, 6 May
is it almost like a sugary smell?

OrdinaryMiracle - Tuesday, 29 April
How are things going? I feel like my face has gotten really fat, too - it is so annoying. But at my 28 week app't I only gained 2 lbs so I am happy. I guess some people gain all their weight at the start and then it tapers off in the 3rd trimester - I'm hoping to be one of those! I'm glad Justy has been better. Have you started working on the nursery yet? My husband is painting ours now. I can't wait to decorate! How are you feeling these days? I've got some pelvic pain and am a bit more tired (but still can't sleep!), but other than that things are great. Baby is SO active. Weather has been awesome here - hope you are getting some spring, too! Take care and keep in touch!

chocolatemomma - Monday, 28 April
You are so sweet, thank you!!! Wow 14 months! thats amazing you are a trooper... i plan to breastfeed for about 6 months! Congrats and good luck to you!

Angiepangie - Monday, 28 April
I'm at 27 lbs and counting...and since I've been having too many BH contractions, I'm not doing much of anything physical, as I'm trying to avoid pre-term labour. Now that I can't even go for a walk, I fully expect to get up to at least 170lbs! (I started off at 135) Blah! At least the weather will be good when the baby is born for early morning walks...I'll be doing them as soon as I'm home with my new edition!

Boopy - Sunday, 27 April
Thank you for your comments and prayers...they are very much appreciated. :o) You are a pretty cute momma yourself...and your daughter looks like a real sweetheart also. May God bless your family!

MommaD - Saturday, 26 April
I've been depressed since my appt yesterday. I used to look foward to them, now I hate going. I've gained 28 lbs. I hate being fat...why do I have to get so big and others hardly gain any?????

tschmitz - Friday, 18 April
hi there, i get worried as well. my little girl has not been kicking as much and it freaks me out, but i see alot of people saying the same thing around this week of pregnancy, maybe its a growth spurt and they are tired? idk but when i feel scared i drink a glass of orange juice or chocolate milk and lay down and count how many kicks i get...this ushually makes me feel al little better! good luck

babylove723 - Friday, 18 April
I just saw your comment and I just wanted to let you know that I freak out about the same thing all the time! I try to think about baby movement like I thought about morning sickness. I was never sick at all and everyone used to freak me out saying that it could mean that something was wrong and that being sick meant your baby would be healthy. Well my little boy is doing great so that is obviously not true. I think that some people have babies that are active all day long every day, and other people (like me) have babies that are not that active. We just don't hear about people with less active babies as much as those with really active ones. Just like you hear way more about people with morning sickness that those that don't have it. Usually doctors recommend doing kick counts at 28 weeks and I would think that is because until then it is still normal to have days where your baby is not moving around too much. I was so nervous about a week ago though that I called my doctor anyway. She told me to pick one hour a day when he is usually the most active (she said for most babies this is between 8pm and 2am) and to lay in a quiet room on my left side (For me I can feel better movement if I just lay propped up on my back, not on my side) and to count for 6 movements in 1 hour or 10 in 2 hours. They don't have to be big kicks, any type of movement counts. It really helps me to relax, and usually I find that he moves a lot more than 6 times. Sorry this is so long, but I know how you feel and I just thought I would share. Good Luck and Congrats on your little boy!!

JennSever - Thursday, 17 April
how are you feeling today? sorry to read that you are sick. such a bad time! as for movement - yes it ok for you to feel tons one day and not so much the other. baby is getting on a "sleep schedule" and sleep upwards of 16+ hrs a day. take heart..hope your feel better soon!

MommaD - Thursday, 17 April
