Tuesday, 24 June Morning
Holy crap - am I ever not going to be tired??
Are you feeling this way too?
So last night I really didn;t to much. I cleaned up aroudn the house and made supper ( garlic pasta and egg rolls )
I wanted to get a new plant for the hallway in our house so I went to a local nursery. O.K. for a regular house plant they were charging 40 bucks!! I was like are you nuts - I will go to wallmart for 10 bucks and get the same thing!!
So that ended my shopping for the night..lol
I did get to bed early but didn;t fall asleep until 10:30 and of course the 3 pee breaks in the middle of the night.
Then when we were about to leave for work this morning, we got a note on our door from a guy that we were borrowing scaffoling fronm - he said he was going to be here this morning to pick it up. So we were 30 minutes late for work cause we had to take down the lifts in the living room and bring them outside...oh what a morning..lol sweetmommy2be -
Tuesday, 24 June About seeing the doc every 2 weeks ... The next time I see the doc is when i am 30 weeks and then every 2 weeks till i have 5 weeks left. Then they said every week till i give birth. Sorry if I have confused you! Congrates and good luck! NarNar -
Monday, 23 June Yeah I love the rolling around - I know I am going to miss having the baby in there...
Anyhow end of the day I am off - have a great night!!
Now I have to figure out what to cook for supper.
Man I would love and built in maid/cook..hee hee NarNar -
Monday, 23 June Yeah the crappy thing is that we can't take any medicine...well at least I don't want to...
Holy crap Monday's take forever - I just want to go home..lol
Hey have you felt the baby have hiccups?
I haven't but I am hopeing I do.. NarNar -
Monday, 23 June My nephew - he is 7 and loves Cinderella. He loves the cat and mice in it!! When they are kids - movies and movies and there is really no girl/boy type
My favorite is the Pixar movies. When they come out I HAVE to buy them on the Tuesday the day its released..My husband thinks I am nuts.
I think I have almost every disney movie out there too - mostly on VHS - so now I am buying them again on DVD.
So our Kid is covered..lol
So what time do you work?
I am on 7:15 to 3:30 - that means I get up every morning at 5:30am. No wonder I love those weekends. Though I can only sleep in to 7 then I am wide awake.
oohh 10 more minutes to lunch..yyeehhhaaaa I have egg salad..yummy.
Holy alergies today - man oh man...you got any? NarNar -
Monday, 23 June Morning
Well we bought carpet for the nursery and stairs on Friday
I worked on a family slideshow for our family reunion. Went and picked some fresh strawberries too. Sunday had lots of vistors drop by - so by the end of the day I was ready for bed. Curled up in bed and watched Carlottes Web -I am such a kid - I love all kid movies...
I am excited for this week to be over - because next Tuesday is Canada's day so I took Monday off as well - 4 day weekend....whoo hoo
Funny how fast the summer is flying by..wow
I booked Friday off in August - so I am sure that will help me out having 4 day work weeks. I have 8 days I have to use up before my Mat leave - so instead of taking 2 weeks - I thought it would be better to break it up like that.
Man I hate Monday mornings I am ready for bed..lol NarNar -
Friday, 20 June SHUT UP!! We got married Sep 30th as well.....
OK are we going to be like long lost friends here or what!!
Holy crap!! NarNar -
Friday, 20 June Well we were high school sweethearts - and fianlly got married in Sep 2006.
We started buliding our house last June - holy crap - so much work. How much of the house did you guys build?
We did almost everything - The footings - foundation - electiral, plumbing - our septic system - the only thing we sub out was the framming and the drywall - everything else was us. At least I got my own set of power tools out of it..lol
But the only reason we were able to build the house we did was because we did so much work ourselves. We would never be able to afford to buy it.
But now that we are moved in - even though we have lots of work to do still ( we only have a kitchen, main floor bathroom and bedroom ) I am happy. We were living between our in-laws so it was pretty stressful.
There are so mnay decisions to make - I am at the point that I don't care anymore..lol
Saturday I know that I have to work around the house, but Sunday I plan on relaxing - I have friends comming over for a visit and BBQ that I haven't sceen sence Christmas - so excited for that.
Holy crap am I ever hungrey - I still have 1.5 hours for lunch..lol NarNar -
Friday, 20 June Well come on down to Canada :) I feel really blessed that I live in such a great Country.
Did you watch that movie Sicko - about the US health care system - that was pretty crazy!!
Thats great though that you have your benefits through your husbands company - I don't know what people do without insurance!!
I would check into other states and see if its the same across for the Mat leave....
Anyhow I am so glad its Friday - Love those weekends - though all we do is work on our house...we just moved in a couple weeks ago and its not finsihed. Hope to get some carpet picked out tonight - and then we will be working on the tiling in the side entrance. Soon I am going to be to big to do anymore..lol
Can't wait to get the nursery started!! Right now I don't even have a floor in there..lol NarNar -
Thursday, 19 June OMG we just bought a King Size bed too - its great - I could never go back to a smaller bed now..lol
Yeah I have about 5 pillows surrounding me at night - not really doing anything forme though..lol
Ok I am in shock here!! How can you not have Mat leave?
To quailfy in Canada you have to work like 6 months or 500 hours I think to get 1 year of Mat leave at 55% of your pay. Thats for everyone. I am lucky cause I work for a Nuclear Power Plant ( seriously..lol) and they have a great benefits - so like I said they top me up for awhile.
Man I am really mad now - cause thats not fair that we get a year and you guys get nothing - is that for all the USA?
I mean we get free health care as well - so thats like a double bonus for me.. NarNar -
Thursday, 19 June ?? You only get 6 weeks for Mat leave??
I get to take a full year off with pay. Well my employeer tops up my pay to 95% for the first 17 weeks - then I get 55% of my pay for the remainder.
Unless I am reading this wrong??
Yeah I am finding it hard to get comfortable sitting here at work - and sleeping is very bad. I can't imagine how its going to be 2 months from now..lol wendijay -
Thursday, 19 June girl -- i thought i was in heaven when i got mine. i also got a manicure, and since you are pregnant, they will pamper you a little more!! soooo great! ENJOY! :) wendijay -
Thursday, 19 June I asked my doctor this question (because my feet were swollen) and they said to have at it, and to have fun! :) NarNar -
Thursday, 19 June I really want to try to avoid an epidural - not to scare you or anything - but my friend had it done and she can't walk now...so I am scared to say the least - I know that its very rare that it happened - but it did.
But if for some reason I have to get it - then so be it!!
We don;t have Lamaze classes down here either, but the classes I took did offer some coaching on it.
I am glad that we did see the videos - cause now I know what to expect. I didn't expect the whole water gushing out when the baby came out though...holy crap..lol
So how long are you going to be working for? My goal is to stay until Sep 12th NarNar -
Thursday, 19 June My husband and I took prenatual classes and wow those videos are graphic!! they showed everything - the worse one was the crowning of the head - they must of showed it in slow-mo cause I didn't think it was going to end..lol
But it was good to knwo our options with pain relief and things my husband can do to help me through the pain.
I am a big whimp too - but I am going to keep my mind open about Labour - going to go in and take each contraction at a time and if I need drugs - then I will take some - if I need more - I will ask. We don't know what we are going to have to go through, but I knwo that we are woman - and we will get through it - plus at the end of it - you have this beautiful baby - Everyone says as soon as you see the baby you forget about the pain you went through...its all worth it.
So don;t worry about it!! We will get through it - our bodies are designed for it - and now with modern medicine there is no better time to have a baby!!
Its not liek we have to go back behind the barn...lol NarNar -
Thursday, 19 June Well when you condsider the baby is about 2 pounds and the plecenta is about the same size, then factor in the extra blood and fluid - it all adds up. I am hoping that I gain around the 25 pound mark. I feel bad for some woman who are already 30 pounds in...eppp
Anyhow have fun bag shopping and ignore everyone else.
You shoudl of scene the other day - I was having lunch with co-workers and they all decidded to tell me there "horror" stories on Labour - nice huh!!
I just let it go in one ear and out the other.. the4ofus -

Thursday, 19 June yeaa my fiance works night kinda so i dont really even get to cuddle wiht him at night! but when the baby come its going to be good because of the feeding! NarNar -
Wednesday, 18 June I am the same as you - I want to pick out my own bag - not let someone buy me this huge flowered Old Lady bag..no way!!
I am such a bag person -I think I have almost 70 purses..I am addicted..lol
I don't see how you can pick the "wrong" one - its a frigging bag - its not like your going to pick one out that will fit only one sleeper and a diaper - like - come on people!!
ps - I am due the 21st and I have gained 16 pounds - and my doctor said that is perfect :) kirstie -

Tuesday, 17 June I think the sports theme is so cute, I should of know that my hubby would want to do that. He is just that guy!! Yes, it is pretty hot here, my parents have a pool so I have been trying to get my butt in there. I would of made my hubby buy me one as well if they didn't. I am sure it will be challenging to get out of it towards the end of your pregnancy, haha!! I know Derek can finally feel Kolby moving in there too, he kicks the crap out of me. I don't remember Makenna kicking me like that. the4ofus -

My boyfriend was like what has gotten into you. LOL I'm feeling her a lot more now so thats exciting. But its still quite gental. How about you, how are you doing chickie???
