Well I'm Aileen I've been married to David for six years but we've been together for 10 years. We have 2 beautiful daughters Carina is 8years old and Maia is 5years old they are both at school now and baby number 3 is due Oct 27 this one came as a little surprise as we weren't trying but we are delighted and the girls can't wait to be big sisters. I've been unable to work for the past couple of years due to health problems and i HATE the fact I can no longer work but hopefully one day that will change it would be great to find a work from home type of job but there really aren't many around. Anyway just now I guess I'll have to be content bringing up my lovely little family. I've been meaning to add to this fo ages so finally done it and I just wanted to say it's great to have other mums 2 be to chat to about pregnancy and babies coz I feel like it's boring for everyone else.

Well Alyssa is here sorry i have not been on i just got out of the hospital yesterday. I posted her birth story if you want to read it go ahead. She is a really good baby. She sleeps so good. Last night she slept in my bed and she slept from 11:30 to 6:00 this morning. I am really loving being a mommy of a newborn and 2 toddlers it is the best feeling in the world. It is so much work but it is all so worth it. I think my kids love her. xoxo robyn

I know it can be SO dangerous to sleep with him- that's why I'm having such a hard time! He's going to start moving around more. I still don't bottle feed him, but I feed him the boob before I lay him down. Last night he fell asleep in the living room and I carried him into our room and put him in the sleeper. He slept for an hour till he woke up to feed and then it was down hill, he wouldn't go back into it. DJ hates to be swaddled, I don't know why, so that's out. I think he's used to noise and light. He falls asleep in our living room where it's noisey and bright. So my husband went and bought a CD player and is going to down load lulla-buys so we'll play that at night and put a night light in there. We'll see... thanks for the advice!

DJ is 3 weeks old and he will not sleep in his co-sleeper/bassinett. It pulls right up and is flush with the bed, so I can touch him for comfort. But the only way to get him to sleep through the night (w/2-4 feedings a night) is for him to sleep on my chest. I have tried letting him fuss it out a bit, but he ends up fully crying. I have tried putting a heating pad in there (the pediatrician recommended that one) and even put a clicking clock on the side for him to hear it. I DO NOT want to sleep with my baby, but it's the only way I can get a few hours of sleep. Even then thought I am not fully sleeping. Does anyone have any suggestions? THANK-YOU!!
