My little Addison Chey, born 11.21.07. 6lbs. 10oz., 19 2/3 in. long.
7.23.07 I'm finally VIP! We found out last Tues that we're having a girl. We're all very excited. Me and my husband have a 11 y/o son, and we waited this long to ensure his survival around us to mess up another child. :-P
8.14.07 Had another doctor's appointment today, and am measuring 27 weeks, which I'm only 23 weeks, so I'll be getting another ultrasound around my 30th week. I'm happy about this, because when I got my last ultrasound, the tech had to use the older machine, and I have no good pictures whatsoever. I can't even tell what she was labeling, it was so bad. My blood pressure is doing great, all tests look normal and the heartbeat is very strong. My only problem so far, is bad sciatic nerve pain down my left leg. I'm having a hard time walking around to go shopping, so that's a bummer.
10.3.07 Well today I noticed my page was all messed up, and apparently a lot of people are having the same problem. I wasn't able to find my old page with all my stuff, so I have no clue what all I said last time. But anyway, after failing my first glucose test, I had to do with 3 hour one, and thankfully passed it. It sucks getting poked 3 times, especially when your veins don't stand out and the nurse puts the needle in your arm and jabs around under the skin to find a vein like me. I almost passed out hearing her say darn it I just can't seem to get it and seeing her move that needle underneath my skin. I actually liked the cola drink too, call me crazy. It wasn't carbonated, but very sugary and I gulped it down. Wasn't bad for me. I chose the cola flavor, instead of orange, so may be that helped. My baby girl has finally turned and isn't breech anymore. She has one of her legs up by her forehead, kicking herself, while the other one is stretched out long and straight. So far, I'm been having a great pregnancy, with the exception of sciatic nerve pain when I stand or walk. I'm having no cravings, and sleeping hasn't been a problem for me, so I'm one of the lucky ones, apparently.
10.18.07 I'm going to the doctor every week now, and everything is still great. My doc pushed the blood test for the anemia til I'm about 36 weeks, because he sees no reason to think I'm anemic. I heard her heartbeat, which is very strong and was very easy to find and so far, I've gained 14 pounds. So far, so good!
