Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Sx

Hello, You can get a prescription from your doc for doperidone or Motilium. If you live in the states you can't but your country is the UK you should be fine! good luck!

Good luck, i hope everything goes well. if it does not work, i would demand an ultrasound because they can see if anything is stuck in there..

Mine was like yours. where one minute it was be okay, not soaking pads, then the next it would be, huge blood clots, and gushing of blood over and over agin, then it was just got back to normal and then come back. The doctor here i had to keep going back and they finally did something about it.. they sent me for an internal and external ultrasound and they seen stuff stuck in there, but on the ultrasound, they couldnt tell what. But the drs here say its not normal. but when i went to the mergency room about it they said it was normal and the night i had the d&c they said oh there was something wrong, just becareful because you can bleed to death..

Debra - Tuesday, 1 July
ask your doc about vit k then and check your blood iron/hgb levels to make sure your not anemic. Some women can bleed for a long time but it shouldn't be so heavy or red. And it can very well be a bit of placenta that may cause that so it would be worth while talking more to doc about that and requesting an u/s to see if they can see anything left behind. It can also come and go depending on what you are doing. If you are doing anything more than resting, it could be heavier.

he was terrible. i only see the other doctor he shares his office with when hes on vacation. which lately has been quite often..

jerseymumma - Wednesday, 21 May
Yup they def sound like some mild contractions. Don't worry you'll be fine! We are made to do this. Good Luck!

my doctor was the worst! he like changed his tone of voice even. so i ended up switching. and he didnt seem to know much..i asked him things and he was like ummm..uhhhhhhh. he was an idiot. my new doctor is this sweet, little, old, asian man lol.

ll bree ll - Wednesday, 21 May
lol i think its the same everywhere. at least this time she was like "you did the right thing to come because of not as much fetal action goin on" hah. because even on their monitors she was doing the bare minimum. but also, im only seventeen, so they talk to me like im 5 and have NO idea what im talking about. pretty irritating.

Aidensmama - Wednesday, 21 May
Those would be contractions....I just asked my doc about that at my last appt.:)

ll bree ll - Wednesday, 21 May
hah im just glad i dont have a stalker with a camera in my bathroom or something. and im glad my hubby doesnt know half the stuff i do hah (ie smelling my panties hah). the nurse yesterday was like "well now youll know what it WONT feel like" and i was like "well if im having small gushes, expect me up here..cus thats not an everyday feeling"..that made me kind of irrtated..i mean small gushes..smells sweet..9 months pregnant..im going to think its my waters

jerseymumma - Tuesday, 20 May
Hey, I had these sort of pains for about a week before my first baby. They never really felt like a tightening, def more like period pain. Have you tried Timing them?

ll bree ll - Tuesday, 20 May
heh. what does yours smell like? mine smells really sweet..like candy. and i dont think discharge smells like candy normally..hah. bleh, this is all so confusing!

ll bree ll - Tuesday, 20 May
yeah mine has been a few days, so i wasnt sure what in the world it could be! lol. so i told them at my appt yesterday, so they sent me up to get checked out. they said its just an insaneeee amount of discharge. but its kind of hard to believe that there could POSSIBLY be that much discharge..so im not exactly sure what to think about that. i mean, i dont think its my waters, because its been going on for some time, but still, doesnt discharge sound a little..off?

Fajr - Tuesday, 20 May
Hii . first congrats on being preggo ..!!

Well , my doctor said it was just discharge, and when it became more fluid like he said it was just urine, nothing to worry about. But i would get it checked out just to be on the safe side. If it's not ALOT then it's nothing to worry about .. but if your soaking pads then that is when u go to L&D

Valerie23 - Tuesday, 20 May
the fluid looks and feels like water ...the slimy stuff is your mucas plug ....watch the colour of your water if its a bite green that means the baby has taken a bowle movment in it and you should talk to your doctor...

nikkino02 - Saturday, 1 Mar
