ITS A BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!! ♥

Hey Ladies (And i'm sure a few gents)!

Sooo I am amazed that I am even on a website for expecting women. I am so blessed...Here is my story.

It all started with a 12 year old girl (me!) and uncomfortably painful stomach pains. My mom took me to the E.R, come to find out after lots of tests and C.T scans later, I had a malignant 5 pound tumor on my right ovary. Crazyness, right? I was petrified. 6 hours later, the surgery was over. I was still knocked out, but my parents were arranging for mass prayers and beginning to plan a last vacation...the surgeons told my parents that the tumor had leaked, the malignant cells had gotten into my blood stream, and the cancer had spread through my body. They were preparing for extensive chemo therapy, etc....

In the elevator some minutes later, the Oncologist had overheard my parents on the phone and couldnt believe what he was hearing. He reassured my parents that the cells had not gotten into my blood, and had only implanted themselves in my abdominal wall (by some grace of God).... Needless to say, my parents were completely overwhelmed with relief, and also some anger toward the surgeons who had led them to believe something that wasn't right...

In the end, I went home with just one ovary and NO CHEMO! YAY! That was 12 years ago. I am now a 24 year old woman with alot going for her. I have an amazing man in my life who I love with all my heart. We met a year ago, and hit it off completely. I met him while I was in the Delayed Entry program for the Air Force (hadn't left for Basic training yet), He was in the Air Force too just coincidentally. After falling in love, I decided to take my chances and leave for the Air Force anyway...with alot of praying, and the good Lord on our side, I ended up getting stationed with him back home and I couldn't ask for anything better.

We found out we were pregnant on December 15th 2008 one day after my 24th birthday. I couldn't believe it. I knew i could still have kids, but I didn't know it would be that easy. I had JUST gotten off birth control for crying out loud! Im as fertile as they come i guess, for someone who ovulates only once every OTHER month. LOL....the only problem was, telling the parents. We are engaged to be married April 4, 2009. Our parents are so happy, and love that were together. HOWEVER, my family is catholic and his is Lutheran, and needless to say we were nervous about telling them. I told mine lat weekend and they were SO happy! I was so relieved. Our first ultrasound is Jan 21, 2009 (That went great! Our little bean was bouncing around all over the place, so our nickname for him/her is Monkey!) . We are going to tell his parents after the ultrasound (They were happy after we told them, thank God.). Im So excited, nervous, anxious...Im every emotion you can think of. I just want this to go smoothly. I have dreamed about this since I was a little girl, and I am truly blessed to have the life i do.

What was your first symptom?:	Extrelemy sore boobs.

About the birth

Natural or medicated birth?:	I would like to try for natural, but in all reality ill probably want that epidural.
Who will be in the delivery room with you?:	Luke and probably our moms.

Will you cry when you hold the baby for the first time?:	I'm sure
What's the first thing you might say to him/her?:	I love you! Im so happy to meet you.
