march 27, 2008... ok so this is the 1st time ive ever been on here so im gonna give just a little info about me on this one... im 21 in the airforce stationed in nc (hate it). im married to the most wonderful man anyone could possibly ask for. this is my 2nd pregnancy. my daughter will be 1 on may 6th and is as gorgeous as could be. she absolutely LOVES her daddy and is the happiest baby i have ever known. im due on oct 16th and we are hoping for a boy.

march 28, 2008... i went to my 2nd appointment on the 25th and they said all the blood work they did on my first appoinment was fine. i have to get the RhoGam shot my 28th week and, of course, i knew that because of my 1st pregnancy. the RhoGam shot is for people who have a negative blood type, and unfortunately for me, im o-negative... they tried to find the heart beat but she said the baby was too small for her to find it so they had to do an ultrasound and we got to hear it that way. and the pic i have posted is from that ultrasound. my next appoinment is on may 7th, the day after my daughters 1st birthday.

april 30, 2008... well, day 2... my husband left for basic training on monday and got to the base around 8:30 last night... IT SUCKS!!! it was so hard saying goodbye to him and everytime he called, i cried so much. brooklyn has started saying daddy instead of just dada and she keeps calling for him and its making it so much harder on me... i will be 16 weeks tomorrow and i cant wait til its here... still dont have an appointment for an ultrasound so i still have to wait for that... hopefully its a boy... when i find out, im not telling alex... i told him he has to wait til i go to his basic training graduation but knowing me, ill probably end up telling him anyway... i cant keep things from him...

becky06 - Tuesday, 3 June
i heard alot of pregnant women with breech to try putting your knees on the floor and put your head on a pillow (like doggy style) try it for like 10 to 15 minutes a day its proven to really work try it out

yep, i agree - way too early to be saying that the baby is breech - they are bouncing around all over the place at this point. with my first though, my midwives had me crawling on all fours a bit every day for 2 weeks before delivery - it sounds (and felt) super silly, but it really shifted his position into the the right place...(he was hanging out all the way to the side instead of in the middle)...

At this point in ur pregnancy i dont know why she would have even mentioned it. Our babies have so much energy and are moving around switching up positions all the time. My little man was in breech at the beginning of my ultrasound....switched upside down and every where in between about halfway thru and by the end was back in breech. Normally they dont get concerned until after ur baby has dropped. At that point is when it gets much less likely that the baby will switch positions. Dont stress over it this early. i promise ur little ones toes will be tickling ur ribs in no time!!

Hi. Just passing through and looking at your page. When does your hubby graduate? And what are the chances that he'll be stationed with you? I can relate (kinda) since my bf is deployed, but he calls me everyday lol. I'm sure it's probably harder with your hubby at bootcamp. Although, I don't know how AF bootcamp is lol. Good luck with everything and congrats on your pregnancy!

armymom - Friday, 9 May
Hey i totally know what ur going through.. my husband and i are both in the army.. we just found out i was pregnant before he deployed to afghanistan.. he'll be here for the birth but then has to go back. Our baby will be 9months old the next time he sees him. Just be thankful cause its better for the daddy to be gone when they're that young cause its so much harder when they get older and know their daddy. Its pretty heartbreaking. Dont worry too much about it.. it could be worse.. hes just in basic training where u know hes safe.. at least hes not at war like my husband is. Its a hard life being a military wife but be thankful for the time u do have together and cherish those moments. It will be worth the wait i promise. Our men are strong and will do anything for their families... they need our support. Congrats on ur pregnancy and feel free to write me anytime. Take care

Navy0Wife - Friday, 2 May
I know what you are going through. My husband leaves very soon. He will be gone for at least 6 months. He will not be home for the birth of our first child. It sucks. Here is the advice that I was given by another navy wife...."some days will suck, some will be great and take one day at a time." She gave birth to twins by herself. Her husband met the twins when they were 2 months old. Another girlfriend of mine gives birth in June. Her and my husband will be deployed together. Her daughter will be about 6 months old before she ever meets her Daddy. I have cried on and off today. This is a BAD day for me too. I understand what you are going through and most military spouses will. No one else will ever understand what is like and how strong that we have to be. People try to understand but it is just not the same as living it. Anytime you want to chat, please feel free. We can complain together. Take care.

Oh sweetie! I am so sorry, I can't imagine how hard that must be for you! You poor thing, I wish I could think of something that would make you feel better but I think that time is the only thing that will help. Your going to have alot of work on your hands, being by yourself, but you can do it. Keep you chin up for your baby...mothers have unbelievable usually untapped strength until they see that their babies are in need, you can do amazing things if you have too. Good luck to you, will be sending you good thoughts :)
