Hello! I am a new member, that has finally opted to join I am pregnant.com I am 40 weeks pregnant, and eager to meet my child. Sometimes I feel as though the eagerness isnt returned. I had a due date of June 27, 2008 and most of the pregnant women that I know had a due date like mine already gave birth! Bummer for me. The good thing that came out of it, is that the incentive to join you ladies has grown. Well my husband and I are both military. He is currently serving a 15 month tour in Iraq. We found out I was pregnant 3 months before he left. He is as excited as I am! Almost immediately he told me Id give birth on July 4th. Thats a week after my due date, so I was skeptical. Now Im thinking well the probability of that happening just keeps truckin' our way. Unfortunately I get to be one of the ones that has to record the birth for the hubby. It is our first child, so the sacrifice is soothed by the idea that he'll have more to attend to :) I look forward to making plenty of new friends on here. so Alo-hooah to all my ArmyWifes out there!
