I don't really know where to start from here. I'm in my 7th week of pregnancy, this will be my 2nd pregnancy, the first one I had a miscarriage so you could only imagine how I'm going through this one especially when it started out like the first one, light bleeding and a trip to the ER. This time is going better tho. I went to my first Dr. appt. a week ago and saw my lil one and heard its precious little heart beat. I just keep praying for the best. I go back to the Dr. a week from Monday. I'm hoping things are still going good.
So far I have been blessed without any morning sickness oh but the mood swings have made up for it. It seems like I'm constantly crying. Anything will make me cry. I thought I was emotional before during my monthly but my goodness it's ten times worse now. I look at it this way, maybe with me doing all this crying now that when the baby does get here, he/she won't cry so much...lol...I sure hope it's happy and not feeling the way I am..lol...Don't get me wrong, I'm happy too but those mood swings are rough.
I'm glad I found this website cause I'm sure I'm gonna have lots to say. It's good to just talk and let it all out. I do have ppl that I could talk to and let it out to but sometimes its easier when ya just speak without saying the words. Make any sense? Well thanks to all who has listened, I hope the best for you all!

Saturday, 29 March

I went to my 2nd Dr. appt. on Monday and everything went fine. I was 8 weeks and 3 days. Heartbeat was 160 bmp and my lil on is 2cm long. I got another pic and it is surely growing. I don `t go back until another month but I `m so excited to go back and see how much he or she has grown and hear that lil heartbeat some more! Mood swings are getting a lot better. The tears are calming down..lol...Also putting on a few lbs too. Def. gonna have to go clothes shopping before to long. Hope all is well with everyone. Best to you all!

Thursday, 12 June

Going to the Dr. on Tuesday and hopefully I'll find out if I'm having a girl or a boy. I feel like I'm the last person to find out. I'm getting so anxious just wanting to start buying stuff but it's kinda hard to do when I don't know the sex yet. I'm so excited about seeing him/her again. More pics for my baby album...YAY! I just hope and pray that all is well with our little one.

Monday, 16 June

So we have finally agreed on names. (Boy) Dakota Grayson, (Girl) Makaleigh Reagan.
Tomorrow I'm off to the Dr
. YAY!!! I'm finally starting to feel the baby move around a little more. The most amazing feeling I've ever felt. I'm hoping and praying that all is well tomorrow.

Friday, 20 June

Went to the Dr. on Tuesday. Everything was good and we're having a BOY! I'm so excited, so happy, so amazed. I'm so full of emotions. This is def. the most wonderful experience. He was so cute during U/S. He had his little arm over his eyes, covering up his little face. Already sleeping like daddy...lol..I'm just so happy that everything was good. He's a whopping 12 ounces!

Thanks, thats pretty much exactly what happened to me.

cantwait4baby - Thursday, 17 July
Thanks :) I am such a worry wart of course I always think the worst when something happens or doesn't feel right. I mentioned it to the dr. last week and he kinda attributed it to my growning belly etc. but his nurse gave me heck that I didn't check into it...I think if it keeps up I will give them a call again this week....lemme know if you find out anything more, and hope your feeling better as well :)

vanessag7 - Thursday, 17 July
Mine is low most of the time in a half moon shape right on my cervix. I push her up now when its too uncomfy. I didnt get much sleep last night either and its starting to wear me down

tiggerlover - Wednesday, 16 July
Maybe the pain you were having was Braxton Hicks contractions?

*babylicious* - Wednesday, 16 July
I get kicked down low too, but my baby is breech, so I think that the pressure I get under my ribs must be her head! Just on the size thing - Last night I was curious about our babies size at 24 weeks, so I went on youtube and typed in babies born at 24 weeks. It was incredible!! There were so many tiny babies born at where we are now and they survived!! It's so amazing! It was suprising though to see how big they actually are now! xxx

2ndbabyinnov - Wednesday, 16 July
I feel my baby all over! Yeah I feel him down low MOST of the time but I also feel him kicking everywhere else! When I had my ultrasound he was already head down but I can only guess what position he is in now. Our babies are supposed to be about ten inches or so.

Thanks for the comment. My doctor just restricted me from lifting anything over 20 lbs so hopefully that will help out some.If not I guess I'll be looking elsewhere for work.I've been with the same company for 7 years but I refuse to do anything that could possibly jeopardize my baby.I'm sure everyone on here is in agreement with me on that!

angie2008 - Wednesday, 16 July
Hi, I just saw your post. I feel my baby everywhere, from real low at the bottom but most of the time she is kicking right below my ribs. The babies are pretty far up now! hope this helps, Angie

beth0928 - Friday, 11 July
Thanks. Thats exactly what i was thinking,it will give me more one on one time with people, other than trying to entertain alot of people at once.

beth0928 - Thursday, 10 July
Thanks. Im in my 2nd trimester and it seems like it is getting a little better. But i have two other children and do not remember being this emotional.

vanessag7 - Tuesday, 8 July
Thanks a lot for your message. It sucks that they can be so cold when we really need them the most. I cant imagine what goes through their heads and how they can come out with such horrid things.

MALACHIsMOM - Friday, 4 July
With my son I didn't like any of the patterns, sports, animals, etc. so I just chose two colors. My son's was white furniture with blue and green bedding and accents. Eventually I added a couple of pictures of plains, cars and trains once I learned that my son likes them, but I still keep it simple. Just thought I would give using solids as a suggestion. Have fun looking :)

As long as you have already had the chicken pox you should be fine. Your body and the baby will be immune. IF you haven't had the chicken pox there is a risk and let your doctor know! There is a medicine they will make you take. However, I would call your doctor and let them know you have come in contact with the chickenpox and they will ask you a few questions and you can go from there. (I went through this about to weeks ago)

vanessag7 - Tuesday, 24 June
No doubt. You will be fine though, nothing to worry about

vanessag7 - Tuesday, 24 June
Read this site, I got the info below from this article
http://www.babycenter.com.au/pregnancy/antenatalhealth/physicalhealth/chickenpox/

The risks of chickenpox affecting your baby change depending on when in your pregnancy you catch it:

• Before 13 weeks, the risk is very small, with only half a per cent of babies suffering any side effects.

• Between 13 and 20 weeks the risk increases very slightly to just under 1 per cent of babies affected.

• Between 20 and 36 weeks of pregnancy your baby is unlikely to be affected, though, as with any baby exposed to chickenpox during pregnancy, he may develop shingles in his first few years of life.

• After 36 weeks, the risks increase again. If you are infected at this time then your baby has a one in two chance of becoming infected, but is less likely to develop symptoms because some of your immunity will have been passed on to him.

• If you contract chickenpox seven days before or after giving birth, your baby is at very serious risk because he will not have received as many of your antibodies to boost his immunity.

If you are leaning forward- you are hurting your back. Ask someone from your HR dept. to come look at your desk space as this could prove to be an ergonomic problem- you should be sitting with a good posture and your hands/fingers near the keyboard- you could be in danger of carpo-tunnel

elizabethf - Saturday, 21 June
You should definitely try and get out of sitting at a desk all day. I hate to say it, but it will only get worse the bigger you get. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I read your profile. I had two miscarriages this past year, and I know how devistating it is. I was worried this pregnancy until I hit about 16 weeks or so, and I still worry about every little abdominal ache I get! My husband and I chose not to find out the sex, but we think it is a boy because of how the tech answered our question about if she knew what it was, she said "Oh, I defnintely know what it is!", so we took that as she must have seen boy parts clear as day...haha. Congrats on your little boy!!

dcarr0404 - Saturday, 21 June
HAHA ya that is pretty bad!! Hopefully my dr will be right on schedule and I wont be in the room long.We shall see in 6days!!

elizabethf - Saturday, 21 June
Alerie, I am dealing with back pain (lower back) at the moment too. I sat for 3 hours a couple days ago in a chair that did not have good back support and now I have a terrible back ache! I have been trying to rest it the best I can, but it is hard to do. I think having the extra weight in our tummies doesn't help the situation. If I were you I would try and get up as much as possible and take a walk, and also think about maybe sitting with a pillow behind your back. Good luck, and I hope you get some relief soon!

babyluv616 - Saturday, 21 June
I sit at work all day too, and it has become difficult to get off my seat too... my butt bone throbs! Maybe time to invest in a butt pillow??

babyfever - Friday, 20 June
I work on my feet all day, and it's starting to get to me. I have to ask for frequent breaks to sit down and put my feet up. I feel for your back pain. Back pain sucks, I hope you get some relief.

Dustyrose001 - Friday, 20 June
at least you can do that, Im in the army, if I asked for an 8 hour day theyd laugh at me

dcarr0404 - Thursday, 19 June
I LOVE Grayson. When I worked at a daycare back in 06, there was this little boy in the class next to me named Grayson and he was SO cute!! Ya, we had a tough time with boy names too but the girls name was so easy since I had it picked out since I was 15! Not the age to be thinkin baby names but what girl can help it =)
I find out a week from today!! Ahh it couldn't get here faster!

txgirl47bb - Thursday, 19 June
congrats on your precious baby boy!! I can't wait to meet mine - I'm sure you feel the same!

tabatha - Thursday, 19 June
