Hello,

My name is Alicia, Me and My Husband are expecting our second child this coming July on the 21st. That's my EDD anyway!

We are very exciting to be adding another addition to our Family, Our Daughter is very excited she says she wants a Brother and a Sister.

Our Daughter is Alexandria, she is our heart and life and our reason for waking up every morning. She is 2, her Birthday was December 17th. She finally understands the concept of opening gift, she does it very carefully though. First off comes the bow, then the to/from tag then the wrapping paper gets torn in to shreads. Man did she love whe Christmas Morning came. She was very very excited, happy all day, content with all her new toys! She is absolutley in Love with Dora.

We cannot wait to find out what we are having, we have our fingers crossed for a boy my 12 week scan is coming up this Saturday, thank Goodness for Doctors with Saturday Schedules. HA! iNsIdE JoKe.

[[jan 5th,2008]]-Today we hada doctors appt for an Ultrasound, it was great besides the waiting for half an hour to pee with 30 oz of liquid in my stomache. WE got to hear our Babys Heartbeat, it was great 146 beats per minute. We got 5 ultrasound pictures which I will be putting up soon. The sonographer moved my due date to July 23rd, originally it was July 21st, 2008. My next doctors appt is my 3 month prenatal appt Jan 24th. Wish us luck and cross your fingers for a (BABY BOY).

Jan 9th, 2008- Well I woke up this morning sick to my stomache I thought that after 12 weeks it supposed to subside? Doesnt look like it for me. Well, MY next doctors appt is on the 24th, YAY. I want to hear my Babys heartbeat again. Gosh sometimes when im in agony hanging my head over the toilet Im thinking do I really want to do this again, yes I know thats sad to say but Im guessing being pregnant puts alot of strain on your emotions, that why sometimes out of the blue my husband could be flipping through channels and sitting there quitely and I just want to smack him in the head. Gosh, haha I do not know why but seriously that is how I felt a couple of days ago and he didnt even do anything to me. Alexandria is doing great but I am still trying to figure out how you would tell a 2 yr old that there is going to be another baby around I think she knows bc I ask her do you want a brother or a sister and she yells brother, but I do not think she fully understands. Until the day comes. She got her shots yesterday at her 2 yr well child checkup and they gave her 5 and OH MAH GOSH I just felt so bad, she keeps walking around telling everyone I did it to her. LOL!!! Well off for now! Toodles = ]

Jan 12th- Well its 2:45 am I am unable to go to sleep. I got a tooth pulled this afternoon which the pain was so unbearable. Still is. That is something no pregnant women should ever have to experience while she is pregnant its just way to much to handle. SERIOUSLY. Well pain pills are really helping but I can still feel the pressure by my jawline where the roots are ahhh and its so uncomfortable. I wish I could hear the babys heartbeat again, I guess I will be going out and renting one of those doppler things to listen to your babys heartbeat whenever you want. Well nothing special is happening this weekend well nothing that I know as of yet. Alexandria woke up from her sleep, throwing up so I went and gave her a warm bath to soothe her than she laid down on the sofa downstairs and fell asleep to the movie cars. I love it when she watches movies because she learns so much from them she is a 2 yr old with about a 200 word vocabulary, SHE is one smart cookie and so beautiful today I captured her striking a pose its so cute, well cant wait for the baby, I will seriously be overloaded on pictures, and hopefully my teeth stay healthy so no more extractions are in my future. Jan 13th-Today has been go far considering its 11:08 in the afternoon here in Oklahoma gosh The weather is so unpredictable here one minute its snowing the next its 98 degrees no joke, well maye a little. But that is how it feels. My tooth is feeling better but not much. Considering the pain pills are probably helping but they do not make me feel good anywhere else they make me sick to my stomache. Ok so my new addiction is orange juice I have to pick up a 20 oz orange juice almost every day now for about 3 weeks so I can keep all my food down plus its so refreshing. I am doing good my belly button is protruding out in the mornings when I wake up and my stomache is starting to grow a little bump but not much I have noticed that the morning sickness is going away but not by much. I love being pregnant though you have an excuse for everything including (sex)....haha

Jan 14- Ok so today wasnt so bad I took a nap at around 3pm and when I woke up Jesse was already home I cant believe I didnt get dinner in on time, Time just flew by thankfully he wasnt upset he had ate a big lunch. Well when I woke up I was so upset to my stomache I hadnt had nothing to eat that was unusual so I cant believe this "morning sickness" still hasnt went away. Im not exactly all the way past my 12th week, but still I was hoping it would be gone by now I am going nuts. I cant even eat bread or crackers It gets so bad sometimes. I feel like crap right now and I am just sipping on water basically the only thing that can go in my mouth without coming out. Ladies wish me luck with this as I really need it.

Jan 15th- Well I just got home from going grocery shopping today has been an okay day as far as not having any morning sickness at all !!! OMG yes! Except for I had the ever slightest twinge in my throat so I coughed and Oh my my I thought I was going to throw up my breakfast I gaged so hard when I coughed. Other than that everything is GRRRR-EAT. Hum...Craving for some Cinamon Apple Oatmeal..weird it just hit me....Bye bye Ladies, Wishing all of you good health!

Jan 17th- And another little widget..... I am doing great, no morning sickness I think it might of passed tap on wood though, well next doc appt is the 23rd more updates then.

02/19/2008--Well Well Well I havent logged on here for awhile now I did have my appt a couple of weeks ago and I am due for an ultrasound on March 1st hope my baby doesnt try and hide their gender.

I have been feeling way better but I keep forgetting to take my prenatal vitamins, they are yucky! Wish me luck!

03/01/2008....It's A BOY

03/13/2008- I got a letter in the mail, kind of upset my doctors office did not attempt to contact me personally. Instead they sent me a letter saying that I had to do some major follow ups with my delivery doctor, because on my ultrasound the sonographer had limited visulization of the babys right side of the head, and I have a low lying placenta which in most cases corrects itself. If it doesnt by the 32nd week its considered plcenta previa, which the placenta covers the cervix completely and a doctor cannot deliver a placenta before a baby so that means whomever has this condition has to have a c section to give birth. And it has to be induced around the 37th-39th week you cannot carry full term for some reason. ??I am kind of scared but I am reassured that everything might correct itself so I can have a natural birth. Please PRAY!!!

06/27/2008- well I havent logged in for a while now, alot of things have happened since march. I found out from a freak bleeding accident that I didnt have placenta previa, so to say I have since gotten a different OB and delivery doctor. I am sooo ready for this baby to be born we have now picked our name for our son. Jesse Josiah Martinez Jr. his nick name will be "JoJo" Aint that adorable : ] well its 2:09 am and HUbby is out doing a mcdonalds run!!!! hehehehe
