hi girls.....my name is alisa and i am due my first yellow bump on the 21st july....countdown time has begun!!!!! its been 10 years in the making but finally thank god after a little help from medical science we are now looking forward to meeting our little miracle in less than 8 weeks, its just soo exciting i think im gonna burst...lol...

i also got married to my dear partner on the 4th april 2008, so this is just the icing on the cake now....look forward to chatting and getting to know all you lovely ladies....luv alisa xxx

Hi Things are going well. Time is running out and I cant wait. My hands will be ok after the baby is here as the neurologist checked and there will be no prem damage. I am really happy about that! Otherwise I am at home now which is better for me. No name yet!! Its really hard this time....

Thankyou for your message - sorry to hear about your password problem - the same thing happened to me a while ago and I had to email to ask for it from the administrator! I discovered I hadn't even chosen anything particularly memorable - pregnancy does funny things to the brain!

I can't believe that Lucas is already 2 months old - that is just incredible. The time seems to have passed by so fast! Does it feel that way to you? How have things been? Are you enjoying being a mum?

I returned from a two week family vacation on Sunday and am feeling very rested and generally well. Although the weather was a bit mixed (hasn't it been all summer in the UK!!!!) we enjoyed a lovely two weeks away from home in the Cornwall/the south west and managed to fit in a lot including several days on the beach. Since returning home things are back to a fairly hectic pace as both the girls have school, although my youngest is only part time as this is her first year. It is proving a bit of a struggle to get back into the regular routine so that we can leave the house on time in the mornings for school, but we are muddling along and will hopefully be able to get into a good pattern in the next week or so!!

I can't believe that there are only 4 weeks to go now until my due date. I still have a few things to sort out and have put some time aside this weekend to get everything done. I need to pack my hospital bag and a bag for the children in case they have to be away from the home for any length of time - that is a priority for the forthcoming weekend! I don't tend to go into labour early, so I am feeling fairly relaxed at the moment, but I will be happy to get a few things organised.

The baby is very strong now and still moving quite a lot - sometimes it can feel a little uncomfortable but on the whole I am bearing up well! I know I am going to miss being pregnant once the baby is born, so I am trying to enjoy these last few weeks!

Hi Alisa! Nice to hear from you! No worries about the time to respond - can't believe Lucas is 2 months old already!! Definitely time flies! We just returned from 2 weeks away - was very nice to have our last vacation together with just us, even though this little one was technically with us and limiting what I could do. But we had such a lovely time. Unfortunately, with all the tourists and such, I caught a virus and have been down with a nasty cough and sore throat for the last few days. My ribs are killing me from all the coughing and from my little Isabella pushing up into them. But, it will all pass. I have 1 1/2 months to go myself. Can't beleive she will be here next month! My original EDD is Oct. 20th but early in August, my doctor said maybe the 14th. I'm ssticking with the 20th however - and we will just see what happens! Are you on a routine now with Lucas? Is he a good baby? Hope all else is well! xox

Hi I know the first months with baby is hectic. I know how it goes. With my son it felt like I only became human again after he was 10 weeks old. Its a lot to learn and a whole new person to get to know. And the breast feeding.... well I struggled with that for a while but it setteled after a few weeks .I am fine, getting really big now. Dragging myself along but doing fine.Only 4 more weeks of work! Cant wait.Being a mom is great ! Someone told me its the worst thing that can happen to you and the best thing that can happen to you! So true. Enjoy!

Hello My Friends!

How are all of you? I started school on Thursday and I am SO excited! Only taking one course right now...Psychology, but it should be a breeze and there's no reason I shouldn't get an "A"!

Mo is standing now and scooting along whenever he gets the chance!

Cannot believe how fast he is growing. I would like to have another, but that may have to wait a couple of years til I get my BA or until I'm further along close to my degree. Would like to have my second and last by the time I'm 42.

I'm feeling better about my lifestyle. although it's still hard not having the community. I know we will one day and I just hope it's sooner than later. Tropical Storm Faye TORTURED FL, but luckily for us here in the panhandle, she came and went rather quickly. Lots of rain, more drizzle than anything and she' s moved on to AL. Just wanted to say hello to all of you and hope to hear from you soon.

To those of you who responded, thank you, your support is greatly appreciated. In answer to the couple of questions: I only have to fast from sundown Saturday to sundown Sunday, I've done it before, I'm just not "feeling" it this time. I have to have my head covered at all times in public. In my household or in a household that is women only, I can take it off.
And to Tess42~~AMEN! I will NOT be bothered either with a religion just lets me be.
I also appreciate all the comments on Mo, he is such a sweet baby!

Even though he refuses to stay down for his second nap at the moment!

Hello my friends!

I am not well. Physically I'm fine, even though I haven't had a period in 3 months. I am spotting so to speak and saw some red today, but no real period, and of course I'm not pregnant. I would WELL be showing now if I was.

So anyway, spiritually and emotionally I'm beaten. It's hard living the lifestyle hubby and I live without a community. Meredthy0315 knows what I speak of because she lives the lifestyle too.

I have a day coming up where I have to fast, no choice, and I really don't want to nor do I care what happens if I don't. I eat kosher and for the last week or so, all I've wanted to do is walk into a fast food place and order whatever I want. There are no kosher restaurants in our area so hubby and I stopped eating out 3 years ago. I keep my head covered as most of the observant woman who follow Judaism do and lately I've been walking outside to put my clothes in the laundry without my head covered. Granted it's out the side door where I can't be seen, but when I exit my house, I'm go cover my head in case a man walks by. I'M TIRED LADIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TIRED!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If it wasn't for Mo, I would have kicked it a looooooooooooong time ago, but my son deserves better and so does my hubby.

I start school in 2 weeks and I'm ready and excited, but I'm to the point where I'm beginning to not care again. I want to be where the others living the lifestyle I'm living, someone I can call or go see when I'm having problems, go eat in a kosher restaurant whenever I want to, take my son out for his first kosher meal when he starts eating "real" food

, and being able to spend time with others who understand. No I'm not Jewish, but I live the lifestyle and my friend who is Jewish tells me that Charles and I are more Jewish than some of her friends born that way because of how we live. I hear it will get better, but when?????!!!!! I just want to feel better.

Other than that, Mo is VERY well! He hates chicken though!

Tried it today and for the first time he gagged and then spit it out each time I gave it to him. We'll try again at nine months, it'll hold in the freezer for 10 weeks.
