Hi there! I woke up in the bitchiest bitchiest mood today. I hurt so badly all night long and the contractions just stopped this morning. I was so sad and angry. The contractions have returned, but I'm trying not to time them for a while so I'm not so disappointed as yesterday. That false alarm impacted me more than I would've thought.

Russell and I went out for the day. I got some candles and a haircut and he bought me a gift card from Anthropologie so I can get something pretty after the baby's born. It cheered me a lot.

I'm going to try to make your sauce! Do you eat red meat because I have this incredible recipe for beef stew with red wine, cloves, and cinammon. Can you tell me how much of each ingredient you used in your chicken?

I want your ice cream sandwiches! Did you make them with chocolate chip cookies?

Are you and Charlie off being romantic today?

I would just love to see your house. From what I can see already, it's very stylish! I imagine it as very, very clean..LOL! I'm not so tidy usually.

My bp is fine. I had a lovely nurse! I wish that I could steal her and bring her to labor with me.

Coincidentally, my birthing class nurse happened to be at the office getting an injection today. She said that it does sound like i"m having contractions. I'm pretty excited, but I don't want to get to sure about it.

I should be practicing my meditative anesthesia! So far, I've been more fascinated and excited about the contractions and haven't needed to use anything. If it's real, I'll be practicing soon eanough!

Oh, you know lots!

BP is blood pressure. Mine's been going up and was high yesterday. They're watching me for preeclampsia, but I don't think I have it.

The contractions feel like the tight Braxton Hicks that I'm used to (have you had them?), but I also have cramps in my lower stomach and a bit in my lower back. It's not bad at all, like I have a bit of gas or am having very mild period cramps.

I'm glad that Charlie's coming home. Sounds like you need him now. Do you guys have plans for the weekend?

Awww...that makes me feel special!

I had contractions last night, and these were different from plain BH's. I've had three since 7, so they're about 30 minutes apart. I'm sending Russell to work, but he may be coming right back home.

I do know better than to get overly excited. People have false labor all of the time, and I'm not so sure I'm not one of those people.

The thing that's cool about labor contractions is that they're pretty mathematical. If they're real, they increase in frequency in a sort of pattern. That's reassuring because nothing else about pregnancy makes any damn sense.

I have to go back to the doc in a minute because I've been having increasing BP. I don't think it's a big deal, but they are watching me closely at this point.

I hope you're feeling better today and that the preggo blues don't get the best of you. What's in your plans? Is Charlie coming back today?

Sunday for sure, any time is cool with me!!!! My mouth is watering as we speak...I cant wait. I've been doing so GREAT on my diet. And I've been testing my blood sugar and the #'s are perfect. So I deserve some ice-cream dang-it!! oh my nutritionist said I can eat anything I want at my baby shower she said live it up. So I'm going to have some cereal and I'm not kidding LLOOLL. I'm going to lay down now Alex is bushing around like crazy I think he wants me to take a nap...maybe I'll dream about ice-cream YUMMY. Enjoy your might.

Sorry your friends don't care about you being pregnant, it's their lose. I bet they all come out of the wood work to see the baby when she comes. And I'm sorry you are disappointed about your shower, it is lame your friends didn't come. Your invites were sent in plenty of time for people to make it to your special day. So there is no excuse why they didn't come. I thought your shower was lovely it that's any consultation. I think our emotions are getting the best of us. We must get together and go have ice cream...I don't know about you but that will make me feel a tad better.

Is she white with floppy ears? Ok, that was dumb.

The doctor told me that she did a "good sweep" and showed me all the nonsense. I guess she was proud of hersself! It does NOT hurt like it hurt for me for everyone.

I'm feeling good now. No contractions. I'm cleaning my house because there's a girl on this site that wants to see how I decorate. She's so cute. She showed me her house. It's funky and colorful. I'm actually doing dishes, the chore I most detest. Luckily my house is about as clean as it gets.

I'm sorry that you're having a rough time. It was about 30 weeks when I felt the most hormonal. I retreated and wouldn't go out of the house or talk to friends for a bit. I think it might have been the GD diagnosis, but I'm not sure.

Cry it all out. You'll feel better soon.

Bunny is the freaking cutest name for a cat that I've ever heard!

I hope you enjoy your beach walk. That certainly would lift my spirits. I'm sorry that you're not feeling supported over there. Pregnancy is sometimes lonely-making.

I am so adamant about avoiding pitocin...unless Rose is in distress or something.

Warning, this info is not pleasant:
At the sweep, I decided something. I think I just might have an epi. The sweep was incredibly painful, and I think that's because my parts have been hurting for a month. My doctor apologized so many times and had to do it twice. When she took her hand out, it was covered with blood and she had a huge clot that filled her palm. Anyway, I decided that maybe I'm not as cut out for natural as I thought. You know what else I thought...Alisha's going to be so disappointed in me. Isn't that funny? I'm still going to see how labor goes, but I'm not sure.

By the way, my girlfriend who didn't have pubic pain during her pregnancy had a sweep and said it was nothing. SHe said it was like a cervical.

LOL I just cant get over the one cloth diaper thing. Are you sure you didn't find a note saying the rest is on the way LOL When she has a baby give the cloth diaper back but used LOL
