Hi! Thank you for your advice! Unfortunately my baby would not breastfeed :( and we tried everything for aabout 2 months and then I decided to just pump and bottlefeed.. I did start pumping less often and started to supplement with formula and that is probably why my milk production went way down.. so now I am trying to get it up.. I hear I have to pump more often but it hurts :( but I will keep trying because I want to give my baby breast milk for longer than just 3 months. Good luck to you too! Cute baby by the way :)

how many ounces of milk was he taking before maybe he needs more ounces now, that's the same thing that happened with my doughter she was taking 2-3 ounces every 4 hours then she started waiking up every 2 hours then I gave her 4ounces now she sleeps 4 to 5 hours I'm not sure if it the same with your baby since he's getting bigger maybe that's what he wants. You should probably go through your discharge papers because I had a letter congratulating my baby for passing the hearing test... OR you should ask the baby's pediatrician...

About the noise: how old is your little one? Remember he probably heard the dog barking in your womb so it doesn't phase him. My little one really didn't start responding to loud noises til right around 2 months. He passed his hearing test and now he is responsive to all kinds of noises. Give him time...he'll respond. Just test him ever now and again. Snap your fingers around his ear, find a rattle and shake it and see how he responds. Watch him as the dog barks and see if eventually he starts to look for where the noise is coming from. Best of luck. Keep me posted.

Keep in mind, baby heard alot of your normal household noise in the womb. AND it is really noisy in there so they get used to it. I know my DH said yesterday 'I wonder if Jackson is deaf'..and I hit him. Stupid men...as if we don't have enough to worry about already!!!

about your post my son passed his hearing test and he sleeps right through the dogs barking lol. Thank god for that because our dogs bark alot and i was scared about them waking him.

Hi I saw your comment about the noise, Your baby isn't paying attention to the dog barking and stuff like that because he is used to it. He heard it a lot when he was in you so, its familiar to him now. Don't worry too much right now. If they did not say anything in the hospital, then he should be fine with his hearing. I hope this helps :)
