Hello to you all!

3/11/08 - First OB visit today... Did labs, exams, scheduled another ultrasound for this Friday, gained 1 pound. I am getting so excited!!!! I cannot wait to find out what the sex is, but of course I have to wait for a few months :(

3/3/08 - Well I was going to have my doctor appointment tomorrow, but I had to reschedule for this past Friday. He confirmed I was pregnant, which I already knew...heheheheee..... I have my next appointment on the 11th.... I am so excited, and I have told very close family and friends.... Soon everyone will know!!!

2/27/08 - My name is Allison. I am finally pregnant again after 11 years. Not that there was anything wrong, I was just waiting for the right time... My son was born when I was 20, he is wonderful... my husband and I decided to start trying on my 30th birthday. Well that was October 2nd, and here we are. My first appointment with my Doc is March 4th. I will keep everyone informed.

you are not overreacting...i thought that is what they are supposed to do every appointment is listen to the heartbeat? I could see why they didn't do an internal i don't think my doc does it until 37 weeks. see if you can change your appointment. let's hope you don't get her in delivery! I hope you feel better.

Hey :D

I also had my first sleep with me. It was easier for him to sleep, and for me b/c I was breastfeeding after going thru a c-section, not having to keep getting up and down. He just seemed more content and happy with me...

Anyway, I was a little worried this time b/c his dad will be in the bed too, but, my mom has me scared, saying "dads roll over on their kids all the time" - I think it will be fine. I just feel better knowing I am not the only one who thinks its ok for the kids to be in bed with us. And then, once my son was a little older, we got him a COOL, car bed and I didnt have any problems getting him in his own bed :D

Plus, what about SIDS?? I just dont know much about SIDS, but the thought scares me... Like, are they suppose to sleep on their back?? I guess the doctor will know more than me :D

I can sooooo relate to the not wanting sex! I felt so left out, I was told that pregnant women want sex more, but I never experienced that... my husband must really be suffering. But I have no libido and when we do try and get intimate I usually end up gagging! Our poor men! LOL

Still the only one planning it! I have to go order my cake this weekend..I'm excited about that. I'm with you though, I am so ready for him to be out!!! I've had the worst week at work. My manager seems to not remember anything she went trough when she was pregnant and doesnt understand me when I tell her that I am overwhelmed. Its frustrating. My knees have been swelling because of my arthritis, so I'm suffering tremendously at work. I asked my doctor to put me on partial bed rest because by the time I get home, my husband has to help me up from the pain in my knees. It starts to get bad around noon, to the point where it hurts me when I get up and walk at work. Keep your fingers crossed for me! Still havent painted the baby's room...we have to move around a couple of rooms for the baby. Is it just me, or does pregnancy make you ramble forever?! lol How have you been?

after my 3 hr glucose test i felt like that too it was scary! i have that pain to and my dr said the same thing to get a maternity band they have them at babies r us for like 25-35 dollars.

Sorry to hear your having pelvic pain, I am going through the same and have been for the last 5 weeks

My back is a problem too. I was given a maternity belt and crutches to help me walk. The belt helps a little, but only problem is you can't sit down in it!! Let me know how you get on anyway! xxx

My friends all have families and as the last to have children I'm getting closer now I suppose. Those who dont have kids I go to see a lot and we are all getting closer to coz they want to be supportive. Why do you fell your friends are drifting?

I am definately breastfeeding this one. I breastfed my son for a year until he self weaned. I did have to used a nipple sheild to successfully breastfeed, so this time I am determined not to use that annoying thing. What kinds of prob. did you have with your prev. bf'ing experience? Maybe I can help explains some things.
