We had our first little girl Audrey Virginia Perry. She is so beautiful. She was born August 1st 2008 at 1:41 am. She weighed in at 8.1 lbs and was 20.5 inches. She is just perfect in every way. Every time I look at her my heart just melts.
Congrats to everybody else with your babies and pregnancies!!!
August 6th 2008 update
Little girl is doing well. She is definitly nocturnal! She seems to be eating well and going potty well. She loves her lulluby music and she really likes her womb sounds bear. She had her first check up on monday. She is in the 50% percentile for weight and 75% for height, so pretty much she is perfect. :) :) :)

i know, i think i bruised mine
from having sex,
but i couldnt help it.
i have sharp pains in it all the time.
adn its really uncomfortable,
my 6 week check up was suppose to be within a week,
but they said theres no openings until
september 12 and then like a week later,
my baby will already be almost 2 months
so i might as well just buy condoms until then!
cuz damn, i cant wait that long to get birth control,
but i guess condoms work too:)

shes doing great!
fussin all the time which is normal.
i know!! she gets bigger every morning i see her
too! its insane, she will be a month old in 3 days!!!!
can you believe that?
im totally fine from the delivery,
i didnt tear at all so i didnt have to get
stitches.. i know thats kinda lucky:) lol
im just about back to normal,
i was naughty and had to break the 6 weeks
without sex rule, it was my mans birthday on the
15th, so i let it slide,
all i need to do is find a way to
shed off the pounds, i havent lost all that much,
i think ive lost like 15 lbs, the doctor said that was
a good way to start, but i wanna be able to fit into my cute little size 3 to 5 maybe 7 jeans!! :(

oh my gosh! i went through the same
thing, but i was stupid and gave up
on breastfeeding her, so i just pump and
put it in a bottle and give it to her that way,
but i also have to give her some formula too..
but the doctor says shes ok, she already weighs 8 pounds and 2.5 ounces!!!
when she came out she was only 6 pounds, 12 ounces.
so we know shes totally growing,
hang in there on the breastfeeding,
i just got so frusturated because i had the baby-blues
for the first week and a half, i didnt even wanna change her outfit because she would cry, then i would cry.
but im still under a little bit of stress,
and my man was away for the first time last night (all night)
so i had her to myself, it wasnt too bad
other than the fact that she slept all day,
then she was awake from 2 am until 4 30 am
yeah, sometimes she has a routine,
other days she doesnt, but shes getting better
at it..
have u put up pics yet?
i know, im sure we both have beautiful babies
(meaning i havent seen your little girl yet)
but im sure she looks just like you.
which means, shes gotta be good lookin!

how long did you push for? labor?
my baby is good.
she has a cold in her eye
i think cuz its kinda goopy nd greenish
but i go to her second appointment tomorrow so ill
know what to do besides put a warm washcloth on it and
try to wipe it
she eats a lot! dont let anyone tell you not to wake
her up for a feeding because that can make them get sick from waiting so long to eat, just every 1 to 3 hours,
1 to 3 ounces.. thats what everyone recommended to me..
let me know how you all are doing,
and forget about sleep for a while
cuz shes gonna be up a lot during the night, sleep when she sleeps too!
i hope you have help at home (day and night)

yah, i did go thru hell and back pretty much,
i almost died because i lost so much blood.
and when i was almost knocked out cold,
i kept on tellin everyone i was ok
and everything was gonna be fine.
( i dont remember that) but its what i have heard,
lol
idk if she has colic, she does cry a lot tho,
just because she has gas all the time!
shes already 10 days old!!!

i sure know how you feel, im overdue as of today tooo, im in aus and they dont induce until about 10 days after the due date, which is the 10th and my birthday is the 11th, i just really really want to meet her now.......

Girl...at least you are dilated some and babies head is in a good position...not so much for me...my saving grace is they figure baby is close to if not over 9lbs so they don't want him getting much bigger and will try to induce sometime this week...if not it is c-section for us at 10 days post due date (Aug.7th which also happens to be my first boys 16th bday...lol, imagine that!)
Anyhoo, you'll be amazed at how quickly it all happens when it does...I'm excited for you guys and I look forward to reading all about your birth story!!!! michelle

congratulations about reaching your due date...we too are due today, but apparently not close to presenting 'ideal' for labour...these babies will arrive when they are good and ready and they will be worth every second we have waited...savour this time you have now as soon the babies will turn our lives upside down (in a good way)...keep smiling...not long now!!!! michelle

goodness....anything YET???? I'll cross my fingers that she comes this week, if not. They come on their own accord, you know? No matter how uncomfortable you are....they come when they want to and not a day sooner. Brooke started crawling last week and standing up holding onto things....things are going so fast now. She's teething as well and wakes up through the night...can't wait for it to be over with. I hope all is well with you!!! Can't wait to see a pic of little audrey

yes daddy was there for the whole thing,
he didnt watch tho, he kinda was just up by my head
the whole time tellin me what a good job i was
doing and that he loved me, which was really helpful:)
contractions, they are kinda unexplainable,
it is sort of like cramps, but 10 times worse.
do u plan on getting an epidural? or natural?
id recommend it to you, it helps a lot!!!
and when you push, its not all that bad as a lot of people make it out to be..
sleep, hah! what is sleep?!
i dont even know anymore.
but when she sleeps, shes an angel!

I have the worst head cold, and sinus leak ever... I am at work and have to talk to ppl. all day and my head is killing me... I am so ready to be off work for 8 weeks...

the delivery went ok, i was induced on her due date,
i got there at 3 and they told me what
was gonna go on and so they hooked me up to an
i.v and put pitocin in, (which hurts by the way)
then about 4:30 they broke my water and my contractions
kept on getting closer together and they hurt too! lol
so after 2.5 hours of labor, i told them to give me an epidural (also hurts) he had to stick me in the back with
a long needle about 6 times before it actually went in,
and it worked right away.
they checked me and i was at a soft 6cm
then they put the cathider in (i couldnt feel a thing)
i couldnt even feel pain in the contractions
so i layed in the bed for a while and around 3 am i took a nap, then i woke up an hour later cuz i felt like i had to
poop and the nurse said "well, lets check you first"
so she checked me and she was like "nope, you dont have to poop, its time to push"
so i was tired from my nap then they told me i had to push
i only had an hour nap and so i pushed her out
within 25 minutes!!!
so she was born 1 day after her due date
July 21 2008
she was 6lbs 12oz and 19inches
but after the delivery, i had to give birth to the placenta
and that was where it all went bad because i lost a lot of blood and she was tugging on my placenta and after i passed
the placenta, my doctor told me there was a piece of it stuck to my uterus!
so she tryed to get it and it was making me bleed a lot
more than i already was,
so i didnt even get to hold her afterwards
cuz they had to rush me to the O.R
and they kept on telling me not to fall asleep cuz if i would have fallen asleep, i wouldnt have made it
but i got better and i breastfed her for the first 2 days
but then she wouldnt latch on
so ive been giving her formula, and im going to try to find
a breast pump because my milk is coming in
also i have been suffering postpartum depression
(which i know is common) but when i try to feed her on
the breast she wont latch on anymore so she starts crying
and then i start to cry
and last night i started crying for no reason,
its a mess
but im starting to do better now
im not so scared to hold her or change her
or anything, but i still am trying to get a pump
cuz its better for her,
shes so damn beautiful!

it went ok, im dialated to 3cm
but my doctor said if i dont deliver by myself
on her due date (sunday the 20th) only 3 days from today,
shes going to induce me for sure.
im pretty sure i wont have her on my own..
which sucks,
so either way she will be here in a few short days!
and i have another appointment today at 1pm so,
i guess ill see where 'we' are at today also..

oh cool great!! thanks so much for the ideas, yeah your nursery is definitely beautiful!! loll but yeah I like to do some of that stuff my self I want her room to be really special for her, plus it should be fun!

everything goes, my dr said the last time i went to see her, (friday) i was 3cm
and my next dr appointment is tomorrow,
