When was it confirmed?: Yes. I took a preggo test without even telling him I was. I got a plus sign and just about fell off the toilet!
What was your first signs?: I kept getting nausous. Even bought nausea pills. Then I was tired alot and I thought. hey.... maybe
Who was told first?: Bob. I walked out of the bathroom and told him and his reply was "well thats weird"

When did you start to show?: around 16 weeks I could tell I had a bump, but other people really noticed at arond 20 weeks

The dream birth
Did you want a home birth,water birth,or in a hospital?: Wanted a water birth, but they dont offer that here
Did you want it natural or medicated?: wanted natural, but after 40 hrs of labor, I changed my mind
What medications were taken during birth?: 2 different type of shots. One made me VERY tired, the other took the edge off the contractions. Then I got an epidural
Did you want to see it?: No, but I wanted to feel his head with my hand. And I did

Were you scared going in?: No, I was more than ready. I got scared at the breaking of my water, and when I souldn't dialate past a 4
Where did it all start?: At home. Then we went waking at the park, then we went in and they sent me home so we went to the grocery store for milk, then bed. The next day we went to the hosp again and they kept me.
How far along were you?: 40 weeks 2 days
Did your water break on it's own?: No. They broke it. I was stuck at 4cm

How many centimeters were you when you arrived at the hospital?: 3, but they wont keep me until I was 4cm
How far apart were the contractions?: at first they were around 5 minutes apart
Did you recieve any medications?: Epidural, and a couple different shots of painkillers before the epi
Did you watch?: No, but I felt his head as he was crowning with the first push!
Who was in the room?: My mom and Bob and random nurses

Was it like you thought it'd be?: No. I thought pushing would hurt, but I couldnt feel a thing
Did you wish things had happened differently?: No. I enjoyed the whole experience

She ended up kicking him out of the apartment that he is paying for (she is unemployed), and I went with him because she thought we were together, and didnt want me around. We ended up getting together one night and here I am. I have known Robert for 2 years and he is one amazing man. Its a shame he had to deal with being treated like that. The only people who know were expecting are my family and they are sworn to keep it a secret, one of my co-workers-basically my only friend, and you. lol. We bought the house that my ex and I used to live in, and my ex is perfectly fine with us being together. Its weird but I kind of think of him as a brother now...

The reason for the secrets, is because neither of our divorces are finalized. I have to sign mine and he has to get the papers for *Debbie* to do it. Her name is on everything, even though she hasn't had a job in 2 years, he is paying for her apartment, phone... plus giving her $1,000 every 2 weeks for her "Spending money". He even gave her the good car. If she finds out that we are having a baby, her parents will get her a lawyer, and sue him for all he's worth and file for sole custody of their daughter. That is the last thing we want, we both love that little girl! In N.D. judges look down upon sex with aonther person until your divorce is finalized.

So this is me, take me or leave me. I went from being unhappy in a crappy, failing marriage to... Divorced, pregnant, setting up house for a 2 year old and an infant, with the man of my dreams...

Ready to gag? Nah, i'm kidding. My boyfriend said the sweetest thing to me. I was headed to work and he asked me if I was working alone. I told him that yes, I was, in fact, going to be all by myself, and he ran his pointer finger down my tummy and said "well, youre not completely alone". How sweet was that? It definately made my nerves about this pregnancy go away for a while. Everytime I am having a bad day at work by myself, I just think about that. On a different subject, he got ame an amazing Xmas present- as if this little one isn't enough- a "promise ring". Its beautiful! 35 stones in it, all diamonds. It looks sort of like a little bow, sitting on top of my finger! He told me how much he spent on it and my jaw hit the floor! I got a great one girls! :) FINALLY
