~~ *NOVEMBER 9th, 2007*~~

Ultrasound was today! Everything looked great and, ITS A GIRL! We are very excited. The heartrate was at 147 and she weighs about 12oz. It was a great day. So amazing to see her moving. And she is a thumb sucker! haha. So fun.

~~*OCTOBER 5th, 2007*~~

Well, another month has gone by, can not decide if it has been a long month or a quick one. A lot has changed and we are still adjusting to it. We moved into our apartment in Anoka on September 21st and still trying to make it home. Almost there :)

Well, we had our next appointment today, and things are going well. Not a whole lot to report actually. We listened to the heartbeat again, and I actually recorded it on my phone this time :) I love listening to it. (yes, I am a geek, but I think its amazing) The heartbeat is still at 150, so no help in the old wives tale we mentioned in the last update... guess we will have to wait.

I will be going in for my ultrasound in about 5 weeks(exact date, TBD) It will be a level 2 ultrasound, so they can take a good look at everything. Hopeing this month will fly by! :)

Our next Dr. Appointment is on November 2nd. And again, im thinking the Ultrasound will be around the 9th maybe?! We will see.

~~*SEPTEMBER 7th, 2007*~~

Yay! Today was the second prenatal visit! I thought it would never come! I am so glad it did, we were able to hear the heartbeat! We were a little nervous at first because it took a while to find the little one. But once we did, it finally became more real to us. The doctor said that it was at about 150 beats per minute which is very normal. :) NOTE: According to old wives tales, heartbeats above 140 is a girl.. hmmmm ... interesting. :) SECOND NOTE: Scientific studies show no correlation between the gender and the heartrate.

Next appointment is October 5th. And a couple weeks after that they will be testing for spina bifida. (just a simple blood test)

~~*SEPTEMBER 1st, 2007*~~

Wow - 10 weeks today. That means about 1/4 of the way to the big day.. SIGH!

Still waiting for friday.. haha. Will update again then.

~~*AUGUST 12, 2007*~~

Well, yesterday was the 7 week mark! Still feeling pretty good, nothing too serious. :)

Andrew has been starting to do some remodling around the house. I must say that it is very nice having a handyman around! haha.

We have made it to a couple of garage sales and gotten a few good deals on a couple of things. We are having fun!

Again, my next appointment will be a big one. On September 7th, we will hear the heartbeat. Right now, just waiting to make it to the 12 week mark.

~~*AUGUST 3rd, 2007*~~

Today we had our first prenatal appointment. It was confirmed with a positive pregnancy test reading. Baby is due on March 29th, 2008.

All that was done was a full physical, and blood work.

Next appointment is on Sept 7th. At this appointment we will be able to hear the heartbeat!

As far as how I have been feeling, it hasn't been that bad at all. Nausea here and there but nothing too serious. Hope it stays that way.
