Hi!! My husband and I have been married for almost two yrs now(our 2nd anniversary's on 23rd of December). We have been trying to concieve for two months after coming back from our vacation in India. It is a super exciting time for us, my husband is going to be a superb dad :). My mother-in-law has been hinting for sometime now about having grandkids, they are very excited as this will be their first grandchild. She even quilted a baby blanket even before we were pregnant. So everyone's happy. Hopefully, this will be a smooth pregnancy, touchwood!.

3rd January, 2008

I went for my first prenatal visit yesterday. Everything went fine, they did a vaginal ultrasound( not fun :)) and we get to see our little jellybean. We listen to the heartbeart, it was very fast like 166 beats per minute. The baby is about 1.59 cm, so I'm right on target with my due date. My next appointment is on 28th of this month. My doctor is awesome. Cant wait for the next visit. Its funny I've never been this excited to visit a doctor before in my whole life :)

17th january

I've been having a bad toothache for a week, took tylenol, didnt help too much. Finally called my OB and she said I have to make an appointment with my dentist as soon as possible. So today went to the dentist, they took an x-ray of my tooth(they used two lead protective apron to protect the baby). Looks like I need a root canal. I am on antibiotics right now. My next appointment with the dentist is on the 7th Feb, not looking forward to it!! But one good news, my morning sickness is completely gone, so I am super happy!!

28th january

Went to doc for another appointment. Got to hear the heartbeat again. Doctor said baby's healthy. My next appointment's on 26th Feb. I am going to have the gender scan on the 27th March(can't wait). No more morning sickness, yeaa!! Feeling so good these days. Have started walking regularly and have ordered myself a pregnancy exercise DVD which is awesome!!!

20th February

Ordered a fetal heart monitor from amazon.com. Hope to get it tomorrow. I've heard it works great!!

21st February

Got my fetal heart monitor today. It took me 5-10 mins to get the baby's heartbeat. Its awesome, the heart rate was 151 BPM. Sure am glad I got this one!!!! Now I can rest easy!!

27th February

Went to doctor today. Everything went well, hear the heartbeat again, it was 150 BPM. We decided not to do the quad screen test.

13th March

Finally!! I felt the baby move for a couple of days now. The kicks are getting stronger day by day!! Its amazing!! And I am eating like crazy...all i am craving for is hamburgers!!!Not healthy at all!!

27th March

Its a BOY!!!!! Our baby was moving around so much. It feels so nice to watch him move around.He's 13 ounces, heartbeat is good and developing perfectly!!! We wanted a boy so we got our wish, Yeaaaa!!!!!

4th April

We decided to name our boy Conrad Zorinpuia Kopari.

25th May

Conrad is moving and kicking like crazy. Its so nice to feel and see him move. Its been a smooth sailing pregnancy so far but I dont want to jinx myself. I am getting the nursery ready and getting stuff for Conrad. I cant wait to see him!!!!

2nd June

Had my ultrasound today..Conrad looks healthy and doc says he weights about 3 1/2 lbs...It was nice to see him again.

23rd July

Went to doctor today, my Group B strep test was negative, so thats a relief. My doctor also did an internal exam and she said I am 2 cms dilated and that the crevix is thinning as it is supposed to. She thinks I wont go past my due date, woohoo!!!!!
