Hello All :0) My name is Amanda i am 26 yr old I am married to a very special man that i love very much.and I am a very proud momma to four beautiful children 2 girls age's 10 and 2 and another little girl that was still born in 2001 she would be 6 if here with us. RIP Alexis momma loves you!and a boy age 9. And we are expecting another baby boy in april. And we just can not wait!!! Our family will be complete done.lol! 2 of each. God has truly blessed us! So that is it. If anyone has any questions just ask and i will tell. 12/31/07 Well i went to the doctor today for a visit. And everything looked good and the heart beat was good. i go back the 11th for a ultrasound to see if he is still growing good. cant wait! and then i go the 21st for that sugar test! nasty i have to drink that nasty, nasty orange drink. I hope that everything will be okay with that.

well a lil update. I went to the doc friday as a work in. i was so sick and dizzy i felt like someone had turned me around 30 times and then i tryed to walk. It was bad so my doc told me i have verdigo and now i have to go to a specialist for it. she gave me something so that i wouldnt get sick again and sent me home spinning! lol how fun try looking after a very active 2 yr old when you world just keep spinning. it has quit doing it bad. but i still get a lil diz every once in a while. like if i turn my head fast or move the wrong way. but other than that i am great. I go friday for another ultrasound and i can not wait i want to see my lil man. well take care everyone ttyl. Amanda.

well i went to the doc today for an ultrasound and a office visit. everything is great the baby weight is 2 lbs 7 oz and he looks great. I am feeling great to. I go back the 21st for test. so i will update then. ttyl

1/21/2008 Well I went to the doc today for a office visit and a 1 hour glucose test. well the baby is fine heart beating great and everything but on the other hand .. I do have gestational diabetes while they were taking my blood i got bad off i started shaking and seeing spots and i got sick to my stomach. so the lab lady checkes my sugar and it is 214 she makes me eat some crackers and while an nurse watches me she goes and gets my doc. well she came in and said well bad news you failed the 1 hour test of course and there is no need to do the 3 hour test you have geststional diabeties. I was like you think! I feel like crap! well i get home finally after sitting there for ever and i lay down and a nurse call me and says be here in the morning. come to the diabetes clinic and be prepaired to stay for at least 2 hours. they are going to help me with everything. help me eat right and show me how to stick my finger 4 to 6 times a day! yeah fun but it is worth it to make sure my little man is okay and i get him in this world healthy and alive. so it just seems like that all i get is bad news anymore. And on top of everything i have 3 bad teeth that have been killing me and i can not do anything about it. orajel and tylenol. I just can not wait until it is all over. and everything is okay. so please keep me in your prayers. I go back to the doc on the 8th of feb for another ultrasound and i can not wait until i get to see my baby again! well take care and i will ttyal. Amanda..

1/23/08 well i went today to the diabetes clinic and boy was it fun! lol no for real it wasnt as bad as i thought it was going to be. They gave me a list of foods that i can eat and how much of it to eat. and that sucks! I love to eat. But i love my son more. so i have to do what i have to do to make sure he is healthy. then they tought me how to take my sugar blood. i didnt want to do it at all the lady started laughing at me i kept saying hold on a min and then she told me i promise you will not feel it and finally i did it and she was right i didnt feel any thing. thank god! I have to take it 4 times a day. once before breakfast and then one hour after breakfast, then 1 hour after lunch and then 1 hour after supper. and i have to check my urine ketones once everymorning before i check my blood. so i have a full days work ahead of me for 11 more weeks. I just pray that i can get it under control with this diet they put me on. I sure dont want it to get to the point of meds or shots. and i want my son to be okay. I just worry so much.well just wanted to update i will ttyal Amanda.

well i am off to the doctor this morning for an office visit and an ultrasound!!! I can not wait to see my lil man and see how much he weighs now. Ihope he has gained some weight with my diet change but we will see. I am not feeling to good this morning i keep getting pains in my lower back and stomach i dont think it is any thing to worry about but it is bothering me. but anyway wish me luck. ttyl Amanda.

well he is 4 lbs and 2 oz. and everything looks great! I am so happy. he just didnt want to be messed with today he wouldnt let us get a good look at his face. but he is trying to breath in there his chest was moving up and down. That is why he has the hecups all of the time where he is swallowing fluid as he practices to breath. it was so cute. well just wanted to update. oh and my gd is under control. and everything looke good with that. so thank god. ttyl Amanda.

oh my goodness my nesting has kicked in i am so tired i have worked my butt off today! And i am hungry but it is too late to eat with this gd. I hate that i have it. when you are pregnant that is the best part is getting to eat and getting to eat the things that you crave but no not me and it sux big time. But what can ya do? Nothing but what the doctors tell ya to do. My 2 yr old is a mess she is getting to be so bossy she has to have it her way or no way and it has got to stop. I just can not tell her no and mean no i give in to her and give her what she wants and my mom says you will Regret that when you have the baby. I kinda think i will but hey she is only little once. :0) But anyway my other two children have been sick with the flu or something i just pray that i do not get it. I feel so sorry for them. it is bad when a child gets sick. But they are doing better i am going to get them a doc appt in the morning. To get everything checked out. I am sure it will all be okay. Well my mother and father in law are comeing in the middle of april after the baby is here.
