7 hours ago Yeah, once I got there and realized she didn't just want to get off early and she actually had someone in labor I felt pretty selfish. I totally agree, if that was me I would want her to drop everything. I had the swab test done and it wasn't bad at all. And it was the fastest I have ever got in and out of the doctors office lol. So it all worked out after my complaining for nothing. lol. The weather is so beautiful here today! So all in all it turned out pretty good. Thanks again girl! we are almost there!! =) amberlei -

Wednesday, 14 May Youll be fine...my friend got the amnio done and she said it wasnt bad at all...plus...if you are having a vag birth...its probably not even comparable!! rochelle -
Wednesday, 14 May So what is the amino? I am getting induced, will i need this? amberlei -
Wednesday, 14 May I have to have an amnio test done the 20th and im getting induced may 22. From what I have been told its noting untolerable that its a slight burning and discomfort but nothing bad. Theres also not a huge risk involved sine we are both so far along they just have to monitor you for awhile after the procedure. This is all new to me but I figure it will be worth it to have a baby 2 days later. I dont think its going to be to bad. Good luck! AlyEwing-Ball -
Wednesday, 14 May no, i was awake for all of it right enough so that might be the difference. In the end it was quite and easy extraction - my top wisdom teeth that just weren't going to come through properly at all. I was actaully surprised at how easily they came out to be honest!
I don't think that 4 different dentists would tell you the same thing but lie to you - what are you going to do? do you think they'll induce you early because of it?!
Let me know how you get on though and take care xxx mylilaidan -
Wednesday, 14 May i know, i'm just thinking of what your doctor might say about it. Its worth the try tho!! i wish you luck with that!!!! AlyEwing-Ball -
Tuesday, 13 May hiya, i have had 2 extractions done and a filling and was told it was perfectly safe - don't know if it changes again as we get further on but i had my first one taken out on 7th April and the 2nd one taken out and the filling done on 23rd April...
Anyway, 37 weeks is considered full term, even if you went into labour yourself now they wouldn't stop you...
good luck and let me know how you get on!!! Megan-Danielle -
Tuesday, 13 May 37 weeks is considered full term. MyLilAidan -
Tuesday, 13 May at 37 weeks baby is full term and ready to be born. Not sure if doctor will induce you because of a tooth ache, its worth the try tho! mariela14 -
Monday, 12 May Oh yeah, that is probably true. I didn't think about the heartburn aspect of it. I just knew I woke up with drool all the time! It's kinda nasty. lol Grace -
Monday, 12 May this acting out has nothing to do with her daddy or new daddy. It is all about the new baby, when I was pregnant with my 2nd, it was all fine up until about a month before his brother was born, he was only 15 months old and couldn't really understand what was happening, it's not like things changed with our relationship with him, I believe he could just sense a change about to take place. He would keep me stressed and act out all the time, refuse food. And I believe they've all been like that right before the baby comes, he's 4 now and still does the same thing, I really notice it in him more than the other 2 becasue he's usually good and quiet, well behaved. I have a 3 yr old who is a constant meddler, and an 18 mo. girl who loves to draw, she's working now on body art and wall murals LOL, but they all get together and go wild, and the leader of it all is my 4 yr old, when he starts up they all follow, and he KNOWS BETTER, but I do believe they sense a change approaching and they don't even know why they act the way they do, it is strange though. You know how you can walk in a room and just feel the mood when someone is mad, sad, or joyful and they don't even have to show it, you just know it, well I think the same thing is happening with these little ones, and it really effects them because they don't understand the upset in the atmosphere so they react negatively.
This is my 4th pregnancy and it has happened every time. Your baby girl will be back to normal soon enough, but probably not until the new one gets settled in. Just go with it, and still discipline and everything normally. It'll be over soon enough.

Monday, 12 May I have a 3 year old and he was really excited about baby brother coming, but everyday that gets closer he starts acting more unusual. He's been really cranky, has started acting really shy and needy, and throws little hissy fits and acts like a baby at the silliest things. All of my friends have more than 1 child and they all try to reassure me that it's normal behavior before the baby comes. They warn me that it will continue for awhile after the baby gets here, but if I recognize that these are normal feelings and try not to get angry then it should pass quickly.
I pulled out all the pics from when I was pregnant with him and we spent an afternoon talking about how excited everyone was when I was expecting him. He REALLY liked that. Now everything is...."when I was a baby in your tummy"....and he seems more excited about the baby again. I plan on bringing special gifts to the hospital for him so he gets some attention at the hospital. I also showed him how to work the swing, the bouncer, and how to fasten the carseat straps. He can't wait to help with all of those things. I showed him how I will change the baby's diaper and what he can do to help.
Well, I know it breaks your heart and you miss your little girl. Hopefully it's just a phase and she will adjust soon. Hang in there. I don't think you're doing anything to bring it on...it's a normal thing for kids when they get new siblings. Good luck! cali.momma -
Monday, 12 May im not on my second child obviously, but my friend had this problem. if its not because of the baby coming, it might be that stage. im pretty sure is around 4 or 5. im not much help, because i dont know what to say or do about it, but it could also be that? not sure. good luck tho :] knockoutmom -

Wednesday, 7 May They make novacain for pregnant woman which my dentist uses. I don't see why he wouldn't fill a cavity for you and use that. We have over a month to go and I couldn't live like that for very long! supamom -
Wednesday, 7 May Hi there I had to get 2 teeth extracted in my 3rd pregnancy and everything was fine and no pain finally got a good nights sleep after that :oD knockoutmom -
Wednesday, 7 May oh no i totally understand! yea labor pain is bad (so ive heard) but at least you know it will be over soon. tooth pain has just something different about it. ugh, and every bite you take you literally feel like its touching a bunch of exposed nerves. UGHH!! im literally cringing in my seat! i really do wish you luck with that. im sure if your doc knew how much you were hurting he would do something for you. cause thats just not fair!! let me know and good luck!! rhonda2579 -
Wednesday, 7 May I currently am dealing with "toothache" so to say... I have periodontal disease and I also have 2 teeth that either need a root canal or to be pulled, but I'm on heparin shots and the dentist will not touch my mouth til after birth.... but my ob/gyn did call a script into the pharmacy for the pain, she gave me Tylenol 3... it does have codine in it and it seems to work well for me but you have to make sure you take it as prescribed. If the pain is too much you might want to mention that... if you can handle codine anyways. Just thought I would throw that at ya!! Good luck, hope ya feel better soon. mamabea -
Tuesday, 6 May hey amandakaye... Sad but true i lost one molar with each one of my pregancies but i did not even try to work on them during the pregnancies just had them pulled after .. due to the fact that i had no insurance.. It was 15 and 17 years ago& i am kinda scared with this baby I am not a big milk drinker and they say if you dont get enough for you and your baby your body will take from you to care for your baby.. knockoutmom -
Tuesday, 6 May ugh, i feel for you. really! tooth aches have to be the worst pain ever. i went to disneyworld last year with my boyfriend right after getting a root canal done on a tooth that i already had one done on but got infected again. and even though the procedure was finished it aggrivated my tooth and i swear, that pain made me want to bang my head against a wall. ive had pain before thats been bad but never as intense and annoying as that. you cant even bite into anything without wanting to vomit bc of the pain! the antibiotics finally kicked in after a few days and they are safe to take during pregnancy. definitely talk to your dentist and if he wont do anything then go to someone else. bug him about it! you should not have to live like that! good luck!!
