Hello, My name is Amanda and I was recently married on August 18th. We were very lucky to get pregnant right away. I already have one child from a previous relationship. Her name is Kierra and she is 4 years old and a lot of fun! I can't wait for this one to join us!

Thank you sweetie, I figured after i wrote that I took castor oil at 3pm that some people would at least want to know what happened even 4 their own selfish reasons, but it appears I am not in the day discussion about nothing relevant to being scared, anxious, irititable and all those other emotions we are having right now, especially those who aren't progressing. It makes me sad that these women seem to only want to talk to one another and pay no response to the rest of us, I hope their pregnacy's go to 45 weeks lol

isnt this your big week? Well i just got back from my dr. apt and he said i was dialated to a 2 and efaced to 80% hes sure the baby will be here this next week or ithe following, and i wont have to be induced as planed. The Dr is not worried about it coming too soon though because the uterus is measuring full term! I cant believe the time has almost come! Good luck this week keep me posted.

I just saw ur message about the comment page , I feel the same way, I am so discouraged that nothing is progressing and I may end up over my due date and I was looking for support and wrote a message yesterday but i only got 1 message back , I was online crying( of course my hormones are out of whack ) and had just gotton home from dr. saying I am not even close my cervix is soo far back, and people were talkin about desperate housewives, american idol and watching a birth on u tube, I use to feel like I got support from here but It saddens me that people are not even talking about thier babies or pregnancies soo frustrated.

I've been induced with all of mine. Well, technically with the 3rd, the pitocin was just to regulate the contractions, and had to be turned off after about an hour because the contractions were too strong. But it seems like each labor gets shorter and shorter. Why can't they just come out when we're ready for them? :-)

Amanda, has your dr. put you on antibiotics for the tooth problem? I worked for a dentist for a couple of years and he always put his patients (that were in pain or showed signs of infection) on antibiotics for a few days before the proceedure. The antibiotics, combined with Tylenol, really seemed to help lessen the pain.

YEAA.... UR BABAY IS ON ITS WAY I AM SO EXCITED FOR U AND JEALOUS AT THE SAME TIME,LOL..... GOOD LUCK MAMA ILL KEEP U IN MY PRAYERS:}

Utopianite - Wednesday, 21 May
Sorry to hear that you have to wait another week. I know what it's like to be ready to have the baby and then they send you back home and tell you to come back later. (Happened with my last baby.) My doctor has talked about either admitting me on Friday, or the following Wednesday. The little guy 's getting really big, and since I'm having another VBAC, I'd like to have the little man before he hits 9 lbs so that I don't risk tearing my scar. Have you ever been induced before?

nmck - Wednesday, 21 May
Wow!!! So close!I will cross my fingers for you!

majad - Wednesday, 21 May
Good luck to you! I am not sure why they will induce you, but i am sure you are in good hands. Dont be scared, our prayers are with you.

Notesfam - Wednesday, 21 May
I just saw your post and seen that you were getting amnio before your getting induced. Why are you getting induced for labor so early??

mylilaidan - Wednesday, 21 May
Good Luck!! Everything will be fine!

Haileysmom11 - Friday, 16 May
Yeah, once I got there and realized she didn't just want to get off early and she actually had someone in labor I felt pretty selfish. I totally agree, if that was me I would want her to drop everything. I had the swab test done and it wasn't bad at all. And it was the fastest I have ever got in and out of the doctors office lol. So it all worked out after my complaining for nothing. lol. The weather is so beautiful here today! So all in all it turned out pretty good. Thanks again girl! we are almost there!! =)

amberlei - Friday, 16 May
Good luck to you as well!

Aidensmama - Friday, 16 May

AlyEwing-Ball - Thursday, 15 May

mylilaidan - Thursday, 15 May
oh yay! thats so exciting! I cant wait to see pics!!! GOOD LUCKK!!!

Aidensmama - Wednesday, 14 May
Youll be fine...my friend got the amnio done and she said it wasnt bad at all...plus...if you are having a vag birth...its probably not even comparable!!

rochelle - Wednesday, 14 May
So what is the amino? I am getting induced, will i need this?

amberlei - Wednesday, 14 May
I have to have an amnio test done the 20th and im getting induced may 22. From what I have been told its noting untolerable that its a slight burning and discomfort but nothing bad. Theres also not a huge risk involved sine we are both so far along they just have to monitor you for awhile after the procedure. This is all new to me but I figure it will be worth it to have a baby 2 days later. I dont think its going to be to bad. Good luck!

AlyEwing-Ball - Wednesday, 14 May
no, i was awake for all of it right enough so that might be the difference. In the end it was quite and easy extraction - my top wisdom teeth that just weren't going to come through properly at all. I was actaully surprised at how easily they came out to be honest!

I don't think that 4 different dentists would tell you the same thing but lie to you - what are you going to do? do you think they'll induce you early because of it?!

Let me know how you get on though and take care xxx

mylilaidan - Wednesday, 14 May
i know, i'm just thinking of what your doctor might say about it. Its worth the try tho!! i wish you luck with that!!!!

AlyEwing-Ball - Tuesday, 13 May
hiya, i have had 2 extractions done and a filling and was told it was perfectly safe - don't know if it changes again as we get further on but i had my first one taken out on 7th April and the 2nd one taken out and the filling done on 23rd April...

Anyway, 37 weeks is considered full term, even if you went into labour yourself now they wouldn't stop you...

good luck and let me know how you get on!!!

MeganDanielle - Tuesday, 13 May
37 weeks is considered full term.
