Hi there!

My name is amanda and I am 21years old.

I am expecting my little bundle of joy on the 13th march 09. This is my first, and wasnt planned, but once i got used to the idea of being a young mum, i started looking forward to it more and more each day.

I am so lucky to have such a supportive family and a loving boyfriend...i just adore them all.

How did your parents react?: They were very supportive, i was so surprised as i thought they woulda kicked my ass lol!
What was your first symptom?: I didnt have any...i just got suspicious!
What is your due date?: March 13th, 2009
Do you know the sex of the baby?: No, we cant wait 4 the surprise!
If so, what is it?: ????
Have you picked out names?: no we cant agree :( but i get the last say :)
If so, what are they?: I like the name ben and the name ferne
How much weight have you gained?: sooo much, i feel like a beached whale!!
Do you have stretch marks?: one or two have cropped up on my sides :(
Have you felt the baby move?: Yes, baby is very active-i love it!
Have you heard the heartbeat?: Yes...soo cute!
About the birth
Home or hospital birth?: Hospital
Natural or medicated birth?: no doubt i will take anything i can get my hands on!
Who will be in the delivery room with you?: Iain and my mum...i hope i can have both!
Will you breastfeed?: I want to try...but i understand that it dosent always happen so i will try my best.
Do you think you'll need a c-section?: Not sure, what will be will be!
Will you cry when you hold the baby for the first time?: yeah i think i will be bubbling like a baby lol!
What's the first thing you might say to him/her?: your sooo lovely.....
Would you let someone videotape the birth?: no....no doubt i will be like the exercosist (not a nice thought)!
Are you excited about the birth, or scared?:

I am terrified... but i hope once i start some antenatal classes that my nerves will calm a bit.
