Due Date-March 18th 2008-Getting Close!!!

Ok, First of all, hi to all you beautiful mommies and soon-2-b-mommies. The name is Amber and I just turned 19 on the 21st of December. I am currently 28 weeks pregnant with my first baby girl (all in all, first child). My partners name is Joshua and we are both very excited to be parents and most of all exstatic that we could make a miracle and can't wait til she is here. We have finally came to an agreement that her name will be Jalynn Taylor!! So im just waiting on my beautiful baby girl to get here so i can finally meet her and actually see what she looks like. I can't wait to see her face and I can't wait to hold her in my arms.She will be sooo spoiled! Ill keep yall posted. Ill pray for everyone on the site so pray for me as well. God Bless!

Well I haven't updated in awhile so I thought I would just comment for ya mommies. For those of u who dont know i gotta call from my doctor like 2 weeks ago and he said that I have Gestational Diabetes and I'm a little anemic. I now have to take my blood from my finger every 2 hours after i eat to test my blood sugar! This S*** sucks big time. Since ive watched what I have been eating over the past two weeks Ive lost 8 lbs and my doctor yelled at me. Ill be 30 weeks preggo on Monday, so that means jus 10 weeks left! Yay! I am gettin sooooo soooo soooo nervous! Im really scared but oh well the pain will be worth seeing my beautiful baby girl Jalyn. I go for an ultrasound on Monday, January 7.cus my doctor wants to see how big she is. They said most likely she will be and if she is bigger than i can handle we will have a c-section. Im not to excited about that so im praying to God that she is jus right! But ima lil tired and so ima get off here ladies. Ill update later on in my 8th month.

Well I went to the doctor Monday and I am gon have a lil baby girl evidently. She weighed 5 lbs 2 ounces so they said she may b a 6 and a half pounder. Hehe she is gonna be so tiny. I wanted a lil chunk but evidently she is gonna take after me. I was 6 lbs 6 ounces and thats so tiny. O well, she can be my lil baby doll hehe! I am so fustrated tho cause I went to the docotr Wednesday and I am not dilated @ all! They told me when he was checkin me it was gonna hurt and OMG- it didnt hurt @ at so Its all good! I jus cant wait til next Wednesday cus ill be 37 weeks and 2 days and mayb i will have shown some progress! Pray for me mommies!

Well mommies went to the doctor today and nothin!! No dilation or anything. And i am not due til the 18th of march evidently!!! OMG! i am so depressed and jus wanna meet my lil one! So i guess ima go to the doctor next Wednesday (march 5) and c if i have any progression. I hope so! God i feel like ill be pregnant for life!!!

So here i am down to the last few hours from bn 40 weeks and OMG last night i was having contractions and they were so STRONG...Seriously to the point where I was crying!!!!So I am ready! I just cant wait til she is here u guys, really! Im not gonna be one of those moms who party all weekend, while my mom babysits her! I have many `friends ` like that, and I honestly cant stand that because u should take care of ur own, and if u didnt want a baby then u shouldnt of opened up the store! One `friend ` called me yesterday and was like yea come out with me?? My mom is watching so and so?? Y would u pond ur kids off on ur mom did she have that child? I am going to be a mom here soon and i need to get use to the fact that partying IS OVER! So me and her arent really on good terms...but enough venting cus that stresses me out...I kno ima b the GREATEST mom ever cus I dont think of only myself....I Used to drink and all that but OMG its time to grow up and take care of ur responsibilities! Well mommies I am now 8 days over due and the baby is actin so stubborn, jus like her father lol...I didnt want this to happen but i am goin in for an induction 3/26/08 @ 5:00 pm! I am so scared, totally freakin out...wish me luck...how did i get into this mess!?? On the bright side i get to see my beautiful baby girl in less than 2 days! Pray for me!

I cant say whether you should or should not but if you do decide to do it, be prepared to be layed out on the bathroom floor moaning and groaning praying to go for relief. It is so awful and painful. I took 2 ounces with grape juice. Most people chase it with orage juice. I dont care what you mix it with. That shit is NASTY. Its like you are drinking pure cooking oil... Good luck!!

DONT DO IT! I did with my first and it made me terribly sick, didn't start my labor, and it made my son have his first bowel movement while he was still inside me. It's NO FUN to have to wait to hear your baby cry. Those minutes of silence while they were suctioning his lungs were awful, just awful.

I go in to the doctor tomarrow and i will find out when i can get induced, i hoping she will let me go in tomarrow or friday, I really hope she doesnt wait till monday because my sister leaves for africa on monday for 4 weeks! =[ I've been ahving some menstral like cramps but they arnt to painfull and i dont know if they are braxton hicks or not?

Wow i seriously feel for you, With my first he did that membrane thing 3 or 4 times and never NOTHING!!! So just a suggestion...Castor Oil buy it at wal mart mix it with juice and works every time. But it is a laxative but hey i think it's so worth a try lol. Good Luck

yeah my doc swept my mem brains last Wednesday, and nothin, i tell u, really i think u cant do anything to induce labor, cuz nothing is working, they know when there ready i guess, i dont even have a date yet to be induce, o i hope are baby come tho before ether of us do, just cuz i looked some pros and cons on it and its not really the best thing, so hopfully they come, i will pray for u, let me know if anything new happen..

Well, I had to be induced, was the 13th, day before my due date! my blood pressure was high, and she had'nt grown since my 36 week scan, was abit scarey, i was induced using prostaglandins, started having period like cramps straight away! I had the prostaglandins at 6.30pm started having painful contractions at about 11pm, started to need gas at 1.30am, then it becomes abit of a blur, think I was high lol, but she was born at 6.10 am so all in all was 12 hours, and i think i went in shock cos when she came out, i was saying 'its a baby' lol dont know what i think i was giving birth to lol x
