Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

Yes I bet time is going slowley.
Definitley stay positive hun, its the best thing you can do.
You are 14 weeks now, you could consider getting or hireing a doppler to help ease your mind in times like this, I would have lost my mind worrying if I didn't have mine! I got mine off ebay, it was brand new tho, its called 'angelsounds' or something, was only about £15 including postage, totally worth it tho.

I like the names you have picked out, hopefully you and your boyfriend will be able to agree on a boys name, but at least you still have plenty of time. Have you started to buy anything at all?

Waiting to find out can be so frustratingly at times. I remember wanting to know so bad so we could go out and start buying things. I got really lucky though and ended up having an emergency ultrasound when I was 15 weeks and was able to find out. They won't give you the 100 percent though till around 20 weeks because that is when they are noticeably male or female. As far as names, I knew what they would be before I even knew the sex. I have always wanted to name my little boy Jason after my brother that passed away. So Jason for his first name and Douglas will be his middle. Douglas was my husbands uncles name. We wanted our child to have both of our families names in it, so it was nice that it worked out that way.

Both my husband and I wanted a little boy for our first child so we were overjoyed when we found out thats what we were going to have. Just like every parent to be, we would of been happy with either, but a boy was on our wish list. haha

When do you get to find out the sex?

Thats awesome that your family took it well. It makes things so much nicer when you have family support.

Both of our families are thrilled with us having a baby. Most are surprised that it didn't happen sooner because we had already been together for 2 years and married over one. This will also be the first grand baby on my husbands side so thats a plus. So what are you hoping for?

I am sorry to hear that you had some problems in the beginning. I hope that everything continues to go well. I am doing great. Just getting bigger and bigger. haha Not much longer for me to go. So how did your family handle the news of your pregnancy?

my pregnancy is going ok thnks yeh, mornin sickness only lasted like a couple of weeks, ive been realllllly emotional tho heheh but no can't complain! Me n James bought the 1st baby clothes 2day! :-)

I left school this year, been workin full time for the last few months, im all excited about been 17 at the end of this month so I can drive! woooop! hehe.
